Hi, I'm also on the June thread but officially my due date would be 4th July 2009 so thought I'd better set up a thread for all these summer babies.

Got 3 BFP's yesterday although technically I am only 3+2 weeks. Would love to symptom spot with fellow early testers. Surely there must be more of us out there !! I can't be the first

ooh thanks, will give them a call,
there's one in the next town.

Can't fit in any of my regular jeans now and quite a sizable bump

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 01/12/2008 21:49

does it count if one leg would fit in a size 6?

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 01/12/2008 21:51

large glass ive got a bump band, they sell them in pumpkin patch, u can leave ur flies undone and then put the band over your open zip so u cant see it iuswim?

LargeGlassofRed · 01/12/2008 21:52

lol don't think I was a size 6 even when I was 6

littlelady123 · 01/12/2008 21:58

dirty pretty things.

Phoenix · 02/12/2008 11:02

Morning,

I'm just fat anyway so can't tell if i've got a bump yet and i know i won't be getting maternity jeans from Gap as i don't think they go to an 18

Welcome and congrats to the new BFP's

Enjoy your gig tonight LGR I'm meant to be going to see Take That in June (ie. 8mth pg)

Am i the only one not looking forward to been heavily pg in the middle of summer? And i really don't do dresses

mickeylou · 02/12/2008 11:16

Hi Phoenix, i'm with you - not really relishing the thought of being huge in the summer. maternity jeans did my head in last time with the constant pulling them back up. think i lived in next tracksuit bottoms - just call me waynetta!!

I am going to have to invest in a work suit though. have a dress on today with tights to suck my stomach in but looking pretty rounded in the middle.

i went to see Keane and Destinys Child during last pregnancy. DS had good old boogie at both and i felt like i'd been on a rollercoster by the end!

i wish all these bugs, colds and other nasties would leave us all alone! dont they know we are pregnant and our bodies have enough to contend with!! xxx

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 02/12/2008 12:16

ah much rather summer than winter, ive had two winter babies, and trying to find a coat, jumpers, tops, trousers and closed in shoes to fit you new body shape is a pain and EXPENSIVE
alot of larger sized dresses will fit a maternity shape, so saves money and u look good lol

maybe thats just me, plus i want to show off my bump rather than ppl thinking im fat under a huge thick coat

littlelady123 · 02/12/2008 14:14

3wks & 3days till i will finally get to that all imprtant 12wk stage. a few aches and a little bleeding this time, but 2 really good scans while the bleeding is happening, strong heartbeat and everything growing right. might go in to the hospital 4 another check up 2morrow as i am very panicky!! fingers crossed i will have my summer babba!! excited to say the least, good luck to every1 else on this thread and hope to speak to u all as the pregnancies progress! xxx

Hi all.

Fed up and tearful today Trying not to moan as not ill, just pregnant! But fed up of all day nausea and sickness already and so tired all I want to do is sleep.
Time seems to be going so slowly, am 8+3 now but feels like we have known for months. Phoned hosp and spoke to a midwife today to ask when my booking in appointment would be and was told to stop panicking and be patient. Explained that I need as much notice as possible as getting out of work takes some organising but she said I would just have to wait.
Sorry to moan, hope everyone else ok

I can't believe you all know when your scans are. I've been told I will get a 12 week one (previously they said no) but they won't even book it till my booking in appt (at 11/12 wks) which means I'll be getting the scan sometime in April I should think. Really handy then. How did all yours get booked? Remotely? Or by the doc when you went to tell them you were pg?

Phoenix · 02/12/2008 15:41

No idea when my scan is but i should have my booking in appointment around next week (8wks). Just waiting for midwife to ring to say when she's coming. Scan will be around 12 wks i think.

NattyTurkeyAndEggnog · 02/12/2008 16:31

ive got a scan to check baby thursday, but havent had anything thru about booking or scans
last time i had both on same day, and they sent the appointment a week b4 it was due.

dont worry ladies you will get your scans in time

Oooh how weird, my midwife just rang and is coming to do booking in in the morning

hobnob57 · 02/12/2008 17:40

I managed to wangle a booking appointment at 6+4 wks, and she said that I should hear about my scan date within 2 weeks.. still waiting and I'm 8+1 today.

mega tired today, but dh's man flu is apparentlly making him feel the same, so we're having a stand-off - well slump-down - to see who deals with dd's stinky nappy and impending tea.

Madoldbird · 02/12/2008 17:56

Hi Ladies

Room for another one here?
I am currently 6+4, due date 24th July. I have DC's of 11 & 12, but this is DH's first (although it feels like my first again after such a gap ) We were ttc for 18m, then discovered severe male factor infertility, and after our first cycle of IVF i am pregnant!!!! We're really excited, but still anxious at such an early stage. I have a scan next week to discover if it's 1 or 2!!

Anyway, enough about me. I look forward to getting to know you all over coming months
