Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have tried to find you on FB but keep getting this message.

There are no results for Mumsnet Mums Due Feb 2009. Make sure all words are spelled correctly.

Any ideas??

I've ridden the group. What's your 'proper' name?

mrsy · 21/10/2008 20:11

no - I've hidden the group - doh!

laidbackinengland · 21/10/2008 20:11

mrsy - 'tis a small world. Kazzal was in the year above me at school and used to live round the corner from my godson, so she might know him too (although is more likely to know his sister as they went to brownies together !)

Positive news from tink - sending more positive vibes across the ww web .

MarkStretch · 21/10/2008 20:37

Herb- I think 'helter skelter' is a wonderful name and you would be just plain unreasonable not to call lo that.

DH has gone to football. I am enjoying him being at home but so far we have had heated 'discussions' about sunbeds, headscarf wearing, sofas, and sausage casserole. Me thinks he is finding my hormones amusing.

I tried to find dd a book about babies but it was really hard to find one ages at 6 yr olds. It was either 'mum appears home from the hospital with a new baby...' or 'and the penis enters the vagina...' neither of which were particularly suitable.

MarkStretch · 21/10/2008 20:50

MrsY does this mean you are like Head Girl and we are like prefects?

I always wanted to be a prefect...

'WALK, DON'T RUN IN THE CORRIDOORS!'

swampster · 21/10/2008 20:54

I like Babette Cole's Mummy laid and egg - must look for my copy - I bought it a good six years before DS1 was born!

swampster · 21/10/2008 20:55

I now have LOADS too many nappies already - especially as I'm getting some bumgeniuses (bumgenii?) brought over from the States.

MarkStretch · 21/10/2008 20:59

Mummy Laid An Egg has a page of sexual positions in it doesn't it?! I remember reading that to dd, finding that page, staring in shock and then saying 'la la la la' and going to the next page.

Then I took it downstairs and studied it.

mrsy · 21/10/2008 21:01

I've just washed all my fluffles - they look so cute - and I felt very domestic...

MarkStretch · 21/10/2008 21:12

What is the flappy bit in my nappy?

MarkStretch · 21/10/2008 21:14

These are too cute.

It's a little tots bot for your dolly!

swampster · 21/10/2008 21:20

The flappy bit in yer nappy is to soak up all yer pee, MS.

swampster · 21/10/2008 21:22

As you are having a blue baby, you fold it to pad the front of the nappy. With pink babies it can just lie flat.

MarkStretch · 21/10/2008 21:28

Wow that's cool. Thanks prefect swampy.

swampster · 21/10/2008 21:40
Hmm
swampster · 21/10/2008 21:40

I think you got your 'r' and your 'e' the wrong way round.

mrsy · 21/10/2008 22:04

Love the Dolly Tots! They don't do them in blue though - boys have dolls too...

And as Head Girl, I must remind my two prefects to keep the tomfoolery to a mini-mum. We must set a good example.

Swampy, you can start by learning to spell:

y-o-u-r means your
y-o-u-r-e means you are
y-e-r means nothing

MarkStretch - you are too old for nappies, take them off at once.

mrsy · 21/10/2008 22:04
Grin
swampster · 21/10/2008 22:08

You forgot yer apostrophe, mrsy .

chilledmama · 21/10/2008 22:24

ah lovely...england lessons. I am on a uni course for next 2 days...can't wait

Good news about TBM...sssoooo pleased that little Tinkette is sticking in there

swampster · 21/10/2008 22:57

Has everybody seen the savaged min-min thread? - misdee had it revived.

mumoverseas · 22/10/2008 06:28

morning everyone, good to see a bit of positive news about TBM this morning. Still have fingers crossed but it does sound hopeful. My DH has become quite soppy over this and often asks me how she is. Bless, never thought he'd be this soppy over babies!
Hope everyone has a good day

mslucy · 22/10/2008 08:09

That's so cool about TBM.
Have been thinking about her loads.
I'm sure all our good vibes helped - big believer in power of positive thinking.

btw. I so want to check out some bumgeniuses.
We have a service called "nappyeverafter" that stocks them. They look brilliant.

mrsy · 22/10/2008 08:42

I have never laughed so much about a torn-up fanjo! - even read it to my husband, who laughed so hard he dropped his x-box contoller (result!)

Hope you all have a good day xxx
