Ok, can someone tell me how to get the Scrabble application? And can someone (who isn't very good!) invite me to play??

ruthosaurus · 10/10/2008 15:36

That is VERY inventive - can you sort of wrap DS2 up in it? I need to get a mattress protector thingy this weekend.

Right, off to wash up for 5 mins and then back to doing slightly less than bog all!

LadyBuzz · 10/10/2008 15:38

Ceebee I have invited you to scrabble!

ceebee74 · 10/10/2008 15:45

Oh crappety crap! It won't let me download the Flash player onto my work PC to play Scrabble - sorry Ladybuzz I haven't got the privileges etc - can you imagine what the IT department would say if I logged a call to them

LadyBuzz · 10/10/2008 15:47

Oh that would be funny - you should do it lol!

ruthosaurus · 10/10/2008 15:47

Depends on your IT department. Mine consists of one very nice but overworked and disillusioned bloke who would probably do it just to annoy the powers that be!

ruthosaurus · 10/10/2008 15:58

I have decided that the working day ends at 4 on a Friday so in 3 more minutes I am going to put my work stuff away. Tee hee.

So far today I have made some teaching materials and a mess, so it's 1-all.

Ooh - 2 minutes now!

Rosa · 10/10/2008 16:24

Hello can I join again ? -I was on one of the earlier due Nov threads - in July I think but time has not let me pop back. I am due Nov 16th and am a regular on the Little Italy thread - living here. Am suffering with fat feet and hands, can't get comfy at night and peeing every 30 mins ( if lucky) have a great waddle ! Already have 1 dd 2.6 and am expecting another girl .

LadyBuzz · 10/10/2008 16:26

Hi Rosa, Welcome back

ruthosaurus · 10/10/2008 16:27

Hi Rosa, congrats on pg and commiserations with fat hands etc!

LackaDAISYcal · 10/10/2008 16:31

I was talking to my doula about breech babies and she mentioned that moxibustion gets good results. It's a chinese herbal thing and can be done by a herbalist/acupuncturist or a chinese herbalist can sell you the sticks to do it at home.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that.

Met up with my doula this afternoon and had a very positive meeting. She was talking to the head of midwifery at the other maternity hospital who said that she would treat a VBA2C woman with no pregnancy complications like any other labouring woman and only monotor using a hand held device at 15 minute intervals. she also said that she would write up an individual care plan based on the woman's individual circumstances. so, my doula is going to chase it up futher and get something from her in writing and then I'll be changing hospitals and getting my natural delivery. She also said that they wouldn't rule out the pool if it was available either

off to catch up properly now

Yay Lacks, all sounds v positive. Your doula is obviously a very sensible woman.

Btw, has anyone heard fom Betti? she was feeling iffy yesterday, wasn't she?

LadyBuzz · 10/10/2008 16:40

Great news Lacks that sounds really positive for you.

ceebee74 · 10/10/2008 16:47

Lacks that sounds like great news - good to hear there are some open-minded people out there!

Am annoyed now - was hoping to sneak off home early as I am the only one left in the department but the cleaners have just come in and, as they don't have a key, I have to wait until they have finished to lock up!! I knew I should have gone about 10 minutes ago when I had the opportunity - typical!!

Oblomov · 10/10/2008 16:54

I was so busy Mn'ing and playing scrabble that I forgot the time.
Was late picking up ds from school.
AND I was supposed to go early becasue he had a hearing test.
I ran. Hurt myself. Started to cry. Made a spectacle of myself.
Had to get the teaching assisitant to help me put ds's bike in the back of the car. Only just made appointment.
dare not tell dh. He would go mad.
Bet none of you have ever done this.

Bad BAD mummy. No more scrabble and Mn for me.

ruthosaurus · 10/10/2008 17:04

Not bad mummy, bad forgetfulness-inducing pregnancy hormones! You made the appointment and no-one is going to tell DH anything.

When I was 8 my dad took me to a hospital appointment on the wrong day and we waited around for 3 hours before he thought to check why no-one had seen us yet.

Big hug.

LackaDAISYcal · 10/10/2008 17:06

Obs, I've had to pick DS up from the office before as I was late from MNetting

You're not the first and I don't think you'll be the last.

Betti hasn't been on today I don't think; I hope she is OK.

Not bad mummy at all, What D doesn't kow won't hurt him. You got there that is all that matters.
Pg women are allowed to make spectacles of themselves - its the law!
Don't feel bad

LackaDAISYcal · 10/10/2008 17:08

but sorry you've hurt yourself; take it easy this evening {{{{{hugs}}}}}...and we won't tell DH if you don't

my bump still making funny noises. I think its the amniotic fluid shifting when virgil moves about; definately sounds like creaky wood ro knocking/clicking. very odd.

Ladybuzz, your scrabble record can not have taken into account your game with me!! I am so absolutely terrible at scrabble. Everyone I play comes with great scores

It has been quiet on here. I for one am busy playing scrabble and trying to answer all the telephones that keep on ringing, wish they'd go away.

Havea great weekend everyone. x

Betti · 10/10/2008 17:08

Lacks what's the website for the Clarks shoes?

Betti · 10/10/2008 17:13

Sorry didn't read posts before I posted. I'm here and fine. Wasn't me feeling iffy but can't for the life of me remember who was.

had to do my Group B strep test today. How difficult was that!!!! Not easy sticking an ear bud up your backside when you're not pregnant let alone when you are!!!!

Done lots of nesting today which is why I haven't been around. Off for pizza with girlies tonight. CAn't beat an evening of gossiping.

ruthosaurus · 10/10/2008 17:20

As long as you wash your hands first... Sorry, I am mostly bad today. Enjoy the pizza!

Who was it who was feeling sick and dizzy yesterday? Whoever it was, hope you're feeling better soon.

See, Obs, memory loss is universal.
