ALBS you have the LIFE!!

I'm trying to keep a low profile here at home. I've been contracting very nicely for two solid hours now. And the [TMI]stuff/showy goo is getting heavy. That's got to be my cervix shedding!!!! SHHHHHH just keep this between all of us for now.

TS --this sounds like it really might be it. Sending you lots of labour vibes from here.

DH is asleep with Eibhlín on his chest, flat out too which is cute. DH who is a lovely man turns into some kind of demon with no sleep so having them both down for a nap is a result.

DD is also slowly forgiving me for disrupting her life. She called me in to her cot tonight to say 'I got a little secret for you. I love you with my whole life.'

sibh I really do love that name, sometimes I really regret our decision not to use very scottish or irish names, we've ended up with an Italian/greek and latin name for each of our dds, not bad for a eww lad from norn irn and a weegie lass

I saw your thread on DD1 starting school-are you feeling peculiar about the whole thing? We have that coming up in a fortnight. Another big change to process but a good one I suppose...

ALBS I meant to say how lovely it is to hear that things are getting better. Your voice in your posts today sounds like the one I was used to before Henry arrived. I love the idea of him weeing all over the church. It's like he's baptising it before it gets a chance to baptise him. I must sleep tomorrow as DH is back to work tomorrow. [meep emoticon]

She's 26 months No1. It was one of those moments that makes all the slogging bits worthwhile.

i know you can all come and do my waitressing job for me. you can each have a night and give me a couple of weeks off and you lot can all go into labour and have your babies.

juat checking in to say hi and that I am still around! Imogen has changed from jaundiced baby who sleeps all the time and never feed to baby who sleeps beautifully from 1pm to 10pm and then up all night (an I really do mean all night last night I finally got to sleep at 6.15am and that was only by falling asleep holding her which makes me nervous) and wants to be fed constantly and held all the time. i am really tired but am getting to atch the olympics live! Am hoping she will sleep a bit tonight as am off to Chester Zoo tomorrow with all 4 DC and some RL friends. Just hope scar doesn't get too sore and that I don't fall asleep in friends car and start snoring or worse talking in sleep.

Hope to get more to to MN soon.

Hi all! Well I survived yesterday, and did eventually get the carrot cake baked, despite my electric egg beater deciding to blow up. There was disgusting smelling smoke BILLOWING out of it! I guess it's just not used to actually being used. Congrats to LWFH, and welcome to Tomas. THis thread really does breed big babies!

Have had a warm bath, now off to make a hot milky drink!

aaaargh, why aren't I asleep?!! DD is sleeping, but her wriggles and whimpers make me think she's about to wake up (and it's a reasonable time since her last feed) so instead of going back to bed I'm MNing. So stupid

BTW the explosive poo arrived this pm. Marianne was not at all impressed by her parents' over-excited response

i'm CONTRACTING!
so far every 6min for 1.5 hours.
dh asked to get a little shut eye so i've just started the online contraction counter. these are much much much much stronger than any of the others......have to remember to breath.......
