Mamagoose - so sorry to hear about the bleeding on holiday; I hope you,and your bump, are well now and all is ok. Also hope it didnt take the shine off your lovely holiday.

Herbgarden - pregnancy pilates is great (did it when pregnant with DS; doing it abit now though dont have as much spare time as I used to nowadays for some 2 foot sized reason...). You can do it - or pregnancy yoga - with SPD SpottyShoes; if you let your teacher know and they're properly trained they'll know how to adapt the exercises so it doesnt aggravate your SPD in any way.

Glad your DD enjoyed her 1st day. And PMSL at 'BMB'!!!

my house is a shed!

Thought I'd cheer myself up whilst on a boring duty day today so sat and worked out when I can leave work. I'll start my ML on 15th Feb but taking all my Annual leave before hand my last working day is 31st December! Thats only about 16weeks away!!!! Wooohooo. Just to add to the happy thoughts I worked out when I had to go back if i tack my 2009 A/L on the end of my M/L I dont have to go back until April 2010!!!!

'BMB'!!!!!!!

That should see me through the next few weeks of full time hell!

Calico1 · 02/09/2008 20:33

Hi

Singing - I'm getting the breathlessness thing too - last time around it was because I was very anaemic but some iron tablets soon sorted it out. You can get a blood test to check pretty easily.

I'm having a 'not feeling pregnant' day which is spooking me out a bit. Sickness and sore boobs gone and feel normal - if it wasn't for the mini lump in front I would not believe anything is going on in there. No signs of movement yet but then I'm not quite 16 weeks - can't wait for the reassuring thumps and kicks. I think this was the same with DS but can't remember exactly - anyone else feel like that some days?

MarkStretch · 02/09/2008 20:38

Calico- Yes I have found that a lot. It's a bit freaky isn't it?

spottyshoes · 02/09/2008 20:39

spottyshoes · 02/09/2008 20:41

Unfortunately I haven't had many days like that yet Calico as I still feel CRAP! At 15weeks I expected it to be gone by now

dinkystinky · 02/09/2008 20:48

Sorry you're still suffering Spottyshoes - must be so miserable. I never had the dreaded morning sickness, but do have spots, hairiness, sore boobs and huge bump to contend with....

spottyshoes · 02/09/2008 20:56

Oh I have those too!! and tiredness! To top it all off, I think I have just noticed the potential for a stretch mark to appear from my belly button piercing Must have started last time but I didn't notice.

Suprised I saw it through all the fur

MarkStretch · 02/09/2008 20:58

I will take the appearance of everyone's StretchMarks as a personal homage to moi.

MarkStretch · 02/09/2008 20:59

Hey spotty- is this you?

spottyshoes · 02/09/2008 21:05

Well at least I dont 'parp' on public threads

Actually I've fashioned a pair of hair knickers to match that bra

spottyshoes · 02/09/2008 21:06

I prefer to think i'm more like this

MarkStretch · 02/09/2008 21:08

Oh god this is embarrassing but a local magazine ran a little piece on me, here's the picture.

spottyshoes · 02/09/2008 21:11

All your hair is where is should be then

pluto · 02/09/2008 21:54

I've been back at work for two days. It feels like 2 years.

Saw a book in one of the Sunday mags (and followed up by Chris Evans) about knitting with dog hair. Nice. Perhaps Granny could do a little cardi for the new baby.

dinkystinky · 03/09/2008 08:42

Morning all - today is my third day without my fat suits hiding bump, and its official, am mahoosive as is second day in a row that some nice person has given up their seat for me on a packed tube train! Now worrying quite how enormous this bump is going to be by the end of it - at the end with DS, I looked like I had a spacehopper stuffed down my top and local bus drivers used to stop (several hundred metres before the stops) to ask if I needed the bus anywhere....

winemakesmummyclever · 03/09/2008 08:51

Just a quick hello to all of you guys. Hope everyone is getting along ok.

MS - I will get those exercises to you at some point today.

Ta ta x.

KazzaL · 03/09/2008 13:21

I'm getting slightly worried as although my bump is growing and No2 was wriggling and doing somersaults at the first scan back on 30th July and MW foudn the hb easily 2 weeks ago that despite this being DC2 I still haven't felt him/her move yet - I'm sure i'd felt DS1 move by this stage, I'm 17 weeks now

my next MW appt isn't till 24 weeks, anomaly scan at 21 wks (3rd Oct) - should I phoen the MW and get it checked? or would you all say this was ok and not to worry

MarkStretch · 03/09/2008 14:08

Hi Kazza

I'm 17 weeks too and although I have felt the baby move my midwife told me not to worry too much at this stage if I don't feel anything for a while because they are still so small they can tuck themselves away and not be felt! She said certainly don't count on feeling them everyday like you would a bigger one.

Maybe your lo is shy?! But if you're worried then I would say ring and just ask if they can do a hb check?
