I have a copy of the GF book if anyone wants it! Didn't get on with it at all really...too rigid and proscribed for me.

Woohoo misdee congratulations on your pink one....my god it's going to get interesting in your house when they all hit puberty .

Welcome back Pinkali, glad the holiday was good.

DD has started chattering away in her own wee language. We can't make any sense of it, but the same "words" are being said time and time again so it obviously means somehting to her. It's very cute.

I hope Creena is OK. I'm feeling quite worried about her.

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 16:04

Daisy I would be interested to read the Gina Ford book - if only to have a look at her ideas.

AutumnLady · 07/07/2008 16:08

Welcome back Pinky - glad you are feeling better and also have your internet connection back. Of course you can join back in teh Book Swap, I left a message on that thread too.

Congrats Misdee on your girl - more pink for you then!!

If anyone has anything boy related they would like to sell (clothes etc) then I would be interested. Also would welcome opinions on those bouncy seats as I'm thinking of getting one but don't want to waste precious money if I won't use it!

xx

Pinkyminky.....the modern baby pop-in nappies are shaping up really well. she had one on for over three hours today, with the booster in as well as we'd been swimming and when I changed it was still bone dry in places. We had a bit of a leak this morning, but not much considering I'd had to put her in an already wee'd in one after swimming as I forgot a clean one and she always pees gallons after drinking half the pool!) I'm thinking they are going to be firm favourites in my stash

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 16:09

Has anyone ever worried that their bump is moving too much?? Mine seems to be extremely active today.

PInkyminkyohnooo · 07/07/2008 16:09

Hello everyone. Glad you had a nice holiday Pinkali.

Babysnuggle- if you go to the buggysnuggle website they've got more colours

I have a CLB book somewhere read it a bit but no for me. Anyone is welcome to it if I can find it.

AutumnLady · 07/07/2008 16:10

Bubbaz - outraged on your behalf at the audacity of your DH's ex . How dare she think she can enlist the help of your friend to split you and DH up. How dare she think she would ever be in with a chance!!

Flaunt your bump for all it's worth and keep your head up high. If she messes with you again we'll all head up to you and sort her out

xx

lackaDAISYcal · 07/07/2008 16:10

I've got your address from the Book club chocorange; I'll bung it in the post for you

I finished my book club read (Q&A) this morning...not sure whose it was originally but a fab book. Are we posting on again this weekend?

AutumnLady · 07/07/2008 16:12

Welcome back Pinkali - glad you had a good break and you did make me a bit when you were posting from an exotic location and I was stuck in my office!

What am I going to watch later when I get home now that there's no tennis

MISSDEE - a girl!!!!!!!!!! hoiw did I miss that as have been logging on and off all day! Congrats!!!!

Yes I have been worrying about creena as well...she was very chatty for the first book swop and then has just disappeared off the radar..has anyone seen her posting anywhere else??

pinkyminky For some reason i thought you were on holiday - would, you like to come back to the book club and replace creena who replaced you in the first place? we need to keep the momentum going!!!

IT HAS FINALly started to rain here - has been threastening it all day and we just got soaked on the walk back form school! Although I love walking in it when it's not windy or cold so just about to make hot choc's for us to warm up again (any excuse!)

BTW is anyone else just scoffing for England or is it just me?? I am normally so careful about what I eat, but pregnancy just sees me stuff and stuff....after this LO arrives I am going on a SERIOUS fat busting diet!!!!

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 16:15

Daisy Q&A was my book and I am very pleased you enjoyed it! I thought it was a really good book - quite an easy read but also very clever idea.

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 16:16

Oops - also Daisy thanks for sending the book, I'll let you know when I get it. Make sure you put your address on and I will send you a thank you book in return!

PInkyminkyohnooo · 07/07/2008 16:17

Oh great, do Ineed to put another book in, then? I'm guessing I need to send you one, Autumnlady?

I have a precious few clothes for boys, I'm afraid- I gave them all away when DD was born, as hse was going to be my last baby!lESSONS FOR US ALL THERE!

Good news about those nappies, Disy- I thought they looked quite good on the kittykins site. I may buy!

PInkyminkyohnooo · 07/07/2008 16:18

You'll notice my typing has not improved whilst I was in exile!

PInkyminkyohnooo · 07/07/2008 16:20

I haven't seen anything from Creena in ages. I hope she is ok.

Dozymare · 07/07/2008 16:34

PInkyminkyohnooo · 07/07/2008 16:47

Dozymare · 07/07/2008 16:53

Pinkali37 · 07/07/2008 16:55

love your bump on the beach, Pink!

I know what you mean about the money- my parents bought our buugaboo for similar money, no way I'd have spent that myself. But we got our use out of it and ebayed it afterwarrds.

Pinkali37 · 07/07/2008 17:05

Hana, why thank you mam for the kind comment on me rather large tummy Although saying this, I don't feel it has grown in the past 10 days but I suppose you do start to get used to it being there.

My dad has more money than sense so I don't feel bad. I have a wicked step mother who loves to stop him spending money on my sister and I (not now but when we were children) so this will be really peeving her off and I LOVE IT... My dad is over the moon about becoming a grandpa especially as my sister is due 8 weeks before me so he is buying 2 prams!!!

ChocOrange05 · 07/07/2008 17:06

Hana I sent my dad a bump photo (as he lives in the states) and he said virtually the same about too many beers!! Men are so charming! Oh and DH is now telling people that I have started waddling!! Isn't he lovely!
