Starting again ladies? God we don't half talk LOL

hello all. Had another rough night with not getting comfy and itching like a maddie. This PUPPs thing seems to be spreading as well sadly. Was in the middle of watching rubbish tv when the cat unceremoniously flew across the room (in attempt to catch a moth) and deflated my labour ball not a moment later, I started having low cramps and contractions. It was quite comical but alas no baby so we're back to the drawing board..minus one labour ball.

We had a couple come and view the flat and they seemed ok with it but had 7 other flats to view! Well at least we can settle in for a wee while longer.

EEC sorry to hear your having a down day, just go with it and cry as much as you like, it'll get it out of your system. I think it must be a hormone thing, had the odd day here and there like that recently for no reason really. I just watched Steel Magnolias-always makes me cry but enjoyed it at the same time! Tomorrows another day, and it really will all be over soon, hang in there EEC, reallly feel for you, big hugs

Hi all.

Just to let you know that Samuel Michael was born Yesterday (4th July) at 11.09am. He weighed 6lbs 11ozs.. He is so adorable. Will uplaod some pics soon.

I had first contraction at 7am and ten tey were coming every 4 mins and were lasting about 30 secs, so I called the MW centre and she told me to go straight in.... Sorted DS out and we got there at 8.30... Baby's heartbeat sounded distressed so I was whisked (in an ambulance!) to the 'proper hospital' for constant monitoring... There I was only 4cm, but contractions were coming one after the other so I asked for an epidural, bythe time the anethnatist had got there the MW decided to break my waters (10.45) and Sam was here 25 mins later! it was touch and go for a Csection though, abit hairy for a min, but he's here and I did it all on G & A!!

He's feeding well (although my nips are sore as hell) and after pains are horrid... But it's all worth it...

I'm off to catch up on the posts now...

We originally were going to call him Jamie or Miles, but couldn't decide... So when he was 'born on the 4th of July' my dad (jokingly) said call him Sam, after Uncle Sam... And it kinda made sense! He looks like a Sam, disney i know it's your babies name, so I'm in good company!

Well my lovely little boy Louis Robert arrived at 11.29pm on thurs 3rd after a 4.5 hr labour just like his big bro . Weighs 8lb 11 oz and is currently assaulting my nips ferociously! More details to follow when I am less in love and have more than 1 digit free xxxxx
