Starting again ladies? God we don't half talk LOL

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
sweetkitty · 01/07/2008 18:46

Great graphs aggie now I wonder if the babies read them

mummy2bsoon - I wouldn't worry too much about braxton hicks I had none first time around (had DD1 at 37+5 in 4h 20m so didn't affect her really), I think they get worse the more babies you have though.

I swing between being desperate to get this baby out and terrifed of labour but overall it would be nice to have it all over and done with

JODIEhavingababy · 01/07/2008 19:36

Hi All,

Well I don't come on all day and I miss all the excitement!

Well done Mummypig and Niknak on your new arrivals, and wow KAZ I wonder if I'll be right (I predicted ages ago that she'd have a boy! ) I hope she's OK.. It seems like her body relaxed enough to start As SOON AS she reached her friends! wow! more than a coinicidence (sp?) non?

Rumple Did someone say you've got a cold too? I've got a humdinger! I can't talk today (DH Loving it!)

Catec I'm sooo of you and your DH, I've ALWAYS wanted to got to Wimbledon, and never have, and to be able to watch yesterday's game (almost) live, well the atmosphere must have been amazing, it was possibly the best game I've ever seen!

Right I'm off for my tea and a nice bath, felt really sore all day today Not long now!!!!!!

JODIEhavingababy · 01/07/2008 19:36

Oh yeah I forgot - Mummy2bsoon - I didn't get any BH with DS either!

CilC · 01/07/2008 20:06

Oh I must have missed that Catec went to wimbledon - lucky you! Lurvvvvvvvvv tennis!Every time I have gone I have only managed to see games with people who I have never heard of!

min912 · 01/07/2008 20:15

Yey for Mummpig! Although in an entirely selfish and unreasonable way when SK posted the latest update I did get a bit disheartened by how far down the list I still am!! Am in a similar position of oscillating between 'come out now dammit' and 'I am soooo not ready for this one yet'.
Also bought some blister pads from my gigantic Boots shop yesterday that you put in the shoes rather than on yr heels so you don't have to keep replacing them for some shoes I got last summer but can't wear as too painful - yipee I thought - tried to put them on this morning and my feet are so swollen up they looked like pigs' trotters!! Not a good look. Straight back into flipflops for me...

isaidno · 01/07/2008 20:23

Congrats mummypig!
(whispers so SK doesn't hear) my 3rd labour was harder than the other 2, but I didn't care as soon as Poppy was out!

disneystar · 01/07/2008 20:42

sweetkitty my 3rd labour was my best by far 55 mins from first pain till he was born

please please let me have another like that one

disneystar · 01/07/2008 20:45

big congrats mummypig

been talking to my LO as i am ready now so he can feel free to arrive whenever

first time in all my pregnancies i have ever been ready but this time i am

so c,mon labour bring it on

sweetkitty · 01/07/2008 21:30

thank you disney

Right completely TMI from me but I went to the loo stood up to wipe myself and as I was doing it had a trickle, now could be pee but I thought I felt something as I was sitting knitting, on red alert now, bet it's nothing though.

Now bouncing on ball, bet it's false alarm #2

min912 · 01/07/2008 21:44

ooooh exciting!
maybe we should have some kind of virtual consolation prize for whoever ends up being last?!

disneystar · 01/07/2008 21:52

bounce away sweetkitty keep bouncing

i wont be last got 6 days left i need to him to come of his own accord im willing him to gonna have a long walk plenty of sex weekend whatever it takes to try
my dh says he cant wait just typical im being practical and hes like well like a man would be

ButterflyMcQueen · 01/07/2008 21:55

i so do not expect to be early so can all the ladies due after me - form an orderly queue behind me please...

in rl i barely know anyone who has early babies so i will not allow it on here either

disneystar · 01/07/2008 21:55

sk im alway up in the night well several times im gonna come down and see how you are doing ok
its amazing i get excited when one of you guys think there may be another arrival on the way
my dh rings me up every morning hes not here all week and always sais
well whos popped in the night then, hes a secret MN and doesnt tell me

sweetkitty · 01/07/2008 22:04

Nothing more maybe false alarm thing is it would be bittersweet, I have all the homebirth stuff upstairs, got appointment with GP tomorrow for my drugs and Thursday MWs go on call and she's coming round to set everything up, if I go tonight I have to go to hospital

pigleychez · 01/07/2008 22:18

sk- annoying isnt it... one on hand you want it to happen now, but on the other you dont.

Im finding this time of questioning every niggle really annoying and frustrating. Wish it would just happen and be done with.

Looking out for any updates though...

sweetkitty · 01/07/2008 22:22

yes pigley feel the exact same

False alarm, off to bed now will be back in the morning

AggiePanther · 01/07/2008 23:11

ooh sk - it sounds like things are happening though - that's 2 nights in a row !!

I'm pretty sure LO has 'dropped' today - my belly seems lower and I've been getting lots of 'grinding' down below. Don't want him to come tomorrow though as DP away - well he'll be home around 4 so that would be okay.

sweetkitty · 02/07/2008 07:49

Morning everyone still here still 2 people I bet I have this every night now until she finally decides to come out. Been up since 6.20am (thank you DD2) DD2 was up twice in the night screaming "Mummy" and wouldn't let DP settle her, DD1 was up twice as well can you imagine with a baby to feed as well

Anyway hope someone else has the first July baby today, think I may update the list to include Mummypig too.

Congratulations Mummypig

Peanut73 · 02/07/2008 08:35

What an emotional rollercoaster these last pages have been!!

Niknak Congratulations!! You and I shared the same due date (8 July). Can't wait to hear all about it.

Mummypig Congratulations to you too! So pleased you got to have the homebirth you wanted, and what a good weight! Charlie's not that yet and he's five weeks old.

Sweetkitty I was just beside myself and shrieked to DH "Sweetkitty's waters have broken!!!!", then scrolled down further and you said false alarm... bet it's not though.

Kaz Hope you're okay and you have your LO by now.

Twinkle thinking of you - hope your boys are okay.

Love to everyone! xx

JacobsPrincess · 02/07/2008 08:46

My goodness me, you lot can TALK!!!
Congratulations to all the new Mummies out there. Hope the babies are being good for you!
Is it just me? I'm not quite ready for baby yet, certainly not prepared for birth, BUT so fed up of being pregnant. I just want to unstrap this lump around my middle and leave it on the sofa while I go for a walk, or take a drive to the shops, or just do something normal and pain-free! (Moan over)

gillythekid · 02/07/2008 08:58

Yes JacobsP can't wait to turn over in bed without a winch and military planning. Hoping I'm one of those women who's SPD goes as the placenta emerges. DH and I are starting to look like Lou and Andy with this bloody chair.
