as for corset, am i right in thinking you've got the one with velcro? i've got one with and one without. the one without i keep on all day and some nights as well (yes yes i do regularly wash it!) but the one with velcro is slightly stiffer so i put it on when i'm walking any distance because that's when i get the most pain without it.

Yes it's the velcro one. I like the back support but I feel as if I'm crushing up the bump. I can't wait to wear it after the birth though and look as if I've got a flat tummy again for once!

VG how wide is your belt? mine (with velcro) is only about 6inches and i was told to wear it round my hips so its all under the bump

Love the list TS I can organise so much on paper and spreadsheets but not so much in real life.

My baby spreadsheet consists of sections. 'Already have' 'On order' 'To collect from somebody' 'To Buy'

Although 2 things dissapeared off my 'To Buy' list today as my sister has offered to get those for me.

The latest one is very noticeable (in my eyes) and i'm scared it'll stay, and what they all mean and and and.... Dh thinks it's more my problem - ie I'm the one worrying about it and bursting into tears, but dd is also unhappy and clingy and worried about friendships at school...

girls, i was thinking the same about trimming the list but i wasn't brave enough to suggest it!

I think it's fair enough to trim the stats list. People can always re-add themselves if they decide to come back

ALBS I use to care for a young man with tourettes. Tics were the norm with him. I think I'm a rare duck as nothing he did bothered me at all, even his verbal outbursts. Often when we'd be out about town I could tell when my driving bothered him because he'd start clicking. I'd ask and he'd always be so polite and say...oh no your driving doesn't scare me...but I knew the truth.

Dizzy, believe it or not, I've cut this list down TWICE already since we came together. Considered doing it again but it takes a good day to do the research. I could probably chop 15 names...no posts since Jan2008 anywhere on MN. I'd be happy to add birthing locations and CS dates for those who'd like to provide the info (make a point to tell me the difference between EDD and CSdate).

we're having shepherd's pie tonight. my cousin's coming with her fiance so its a nice easy meal that everyone seems to like. won't be enough for more than the four of us though so waifs and strays will have to go to Dizzy's for sausage pasta!
