Not a fan of Oliver myself as the only Olivia nearby growing up in the 80s, I was called Oliver for many many years (even by English teachers!!!) DH hates it too as all the blokes at my uni were called Olly so for him it is synonymous with overprivileged ruggerbuggers. But I think we are the only people in the UK who don't like the name so don't mind us!

At home potty training DD today. She's doing really well - only change of pants so far today has been after she spilt a glass of water. However, she's rather too keen to just sit on the potty all the time. Not really the point...

My 6 month old nephew is Oliver as is my cat(very definitely not gay) ! So personally I think it's a great name.

Goodness me, my baby seems to have taken a leaf out of dizzy's LO's book and is trying to dig his way out through my stomach It's actually taking my breath away at times - big, squiggly, squirmy movement. So much for genteel kicks - this feels more like being scratched and scraped with a spatula.

All the name talk.... I think Elliot for Captain is good. Kinda like Lewis too (when said with all family names it flows well). Always remember Owen is a nice option.

I'm a little late on the weight topic BUT DD1 was 7lbs 1oz and 21 inches long after cooking for 268 days. That doesn't include that two week period prior to conception because I didn't have a clue when my last AF was.
