Will do readyforbed just don't tell DH unless you are prepared to suffer his wrath on my behalf! (Ooh, that kinda rhymed!)

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 20:31

hazie - shuddery movements are ok too - you;ll find as she gets bigger she's not so free to move and the feelings you get when she does will change

I now have big sweeping motions from side to side and thought baby was trying to dig their way out earlier on

HazieDazieandBaby · 11/06/2008 20:38

Thanks for the reassurance on the cleaning and movements, you guys are fab!

No lead based products here, although I did clean the oven once a while ago - which DH also shouted at me for, justifiably so then, oops!

Don't worry readyforbed, you weren't being tactless at all, so no offence taken

Think DH could be on edge a bit as he has decided that bedroom activity freaks him out a bit now that he's found out we're having a girl! It's so unlike him, I normally shrug him off in favour of sleep! Really sorry if TMI but we had to stop after about 5mins the other night as he felt so weird about it!

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 20:40

oh bless him, trust me, by the time you're having your second or third he will no longer care and will just be grateful he's getting some lol

HazieDazieandBaby · 11/06/2008 20:43

I would really appreciate your dress suggestions dizzy, I'm a 10. I really liked the style of the Isabella Oliver dress, with the sort of wrap fit. I'm not sure what size I'd need up top if I was going for separates, the norks have streched out to a 32G!

HazieDazieandBaby · 11/06/2008 20:44

Lol at your last post dizzy!

TwilightSurfer · 11/06/2008 20:45

Hazie I'll chime in about the seizure style movements...according to other MN threads there's no reason for them and no effects noticed after birth. I read through two nice threads yesterday on them. My little one has had them too.

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 20:46

good lordy lady if you're a 10 get yourself into Monsoon or coast, they've got lovely dresses at the moment with brilliant styles that will go over norks and then flow out over bump - will find some links

readyforbed · 11/06/2008 20:51

dizzy, looking forward to the links, desperately want something nice to wear that isn't too maternity. Have you thought of a new career as an internet based personal shopper?

CaptainCaveman · 11/06/2008 20:52

Thanks for concern sazzles but rest assured I am sat on my ass to post on mn. My feet rest on the floor though so I felt the need to go and rest them up on the settee. Oh, and I ate half a packet of Butterscotch Angel Delight - which was lovely!!

Welcome home Hazie, we were about to send out a search party for you!

Also had jerky movements, feels a bit like Jerry is jigging his feet around on my pelvic floor

HazieDazieandBaby · 11/06/2008 20:52

Thanks dizzy, you're such a legend!

Hi TS, it was a bit worrying to begin with but relieved that others seem to be experiencing the same sort of movements. How's minisurfer today? Any sign of head down manoeuvring yet?

How are you both getting on with your baby names by the way?

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 20:55

millybow

hazie, v neck great for norks and wide straps so you can wear a bra/ flows out from under bust to accomodate bump and no sleeves so not too hot - looks like about on the knee too

thoughts please? won't be offended but need to know re colouring/length/style etc

marilyn dress similar but brown

erin halterneck your lovely wedding dress was a halter wasn't it?

kiko comes with either turquoise or pink belt and can be brightened up by matching accessories

right will leave you to ponder these and tell me likes/dislikes before marching on!

CaptainCaveman · 11/06/2008 20:59

If only I had the money sazzles....

I'm off to watch programme on large babies, and possibly to have a little snifter of Baileys over ice

cyteen · 11/06/2008 21:00

Haaaaaaaaaaaaziiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Good to have you back, and don't worry too much about the bathroom cleaner. I cleaned the bathroom in our old house with a serious hardcore mould remover and despite feeling like I'd been trapped in a swimming pool for an hour or so, baby and I both seem fine. I know what you mean though, it is all too easy to worry.

Re. prams, no decisions yet - our initial trip to see some was a bit of a write-off, and we were meant to go and see some friends' Pliko but both my DP and her DP forgot Have had the Maclaren Techno recommended by a couple of people, although I'm not sure about not being able to have the baby facing me to start off with...going to visit our local independent pram vendor and see what kind of advice he has to offer us

Am currently sitting on my gym ball, feeling much cheerier after having a long chat on the phone with my best friend Have ready meal curry in the oven and looking forward to the Apprentice final!

readyforbed · 11/06/2008 21:05

ok, watched the introduction to the big babies programme - after the charming comparison of a baby and a christmas turkey, that's enough for me!

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 21:05

bella dress

HazieDazieandBaby · 11/06/2008 21:05

That's really pretty dizzy! I like that sort of length, and the v neck style is definitely my kind of thing. I'm looking for options where I can still wear my bra underneath too, so this one's good. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the colour though tbh. I prefer deep colours, like reds and purples and the like. Patterns are okay too. You'll be sorry you offered!

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 21:05

readyforbed - its ruining my magnum white tbh

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 21:06

which one hazie?

Sorry, I posted years after your recommendations! My comments were on the first one you suggested. Ooh, I like the Erin one, would need to get some advice on the bra options though. Didn't wear one at my wedding and was forever hauling at myself in the most inelegant way!

dizzydixies · 11/06/2008 21:14

all the coast dresses

pretty but too pale possibly?
