I've put on a stone YIKES>... The top of my legs are awful, so wobbly and I just can't shift it. They used to be toned. I started off at 9st 4lbs.

I'm 5ft 5" .... is that still healthy? I feel utterly fat. Going to Majorca in 2 weeks and love the fact this is the first holiday where i won't need to breath in on the beach

Hi all

Just back from my scan and pleased to report all is "normal" .

I have uploaded my photo to my profile but its not so clear. We saw baby on the ultrasound arching its back, crossing its legs and covering up its face with its hands - it was very cool!!

Baby is in breech at the moment but the sonographer said this shouldn't be a worry so I am off on holiday tomorrow as a very happy bunny!

AutumnLady · 12/06/2008 14:45

That sounds healthy Pinkali so don't panic!!

I know what you mean, we've just been away and I could wear my vest tops without having to suck in the stomach!!

My weight is up to 8.5 stone; i'm 5'7" and have gone up a stone

I'm not the best one to speak as I have had weight issues but there you go......

As long as you are eating healthily and the bump is healthy, everything should sort itself out. Don't stress about weight or bmi as it differs for everyone

xx

Pinkali37 · 12/06/2008 14:47

Choc, congratulations, pictures are lovely. Have a great holiday and see you when you get back.

Love the pics chocorange and glad things are ok with baby and you. Hope you have a nice holiday.

I can't wait for my 19/20 week scan tomorrow. But it isn't until 3.30pm.

I will try my best to put a picture of baby and my bump on tomorrow evening.

ChocOrange05 · 12/06/2008 15:34

Im back from my scan too. Had a nightmare as we locked ourselves out of the house in the excitment of getting to the scan and have only just got back in

Anyway... glad to report also that all is well with the baby, although it wasn't playing nicely. The head was tucked down in my pubic bone and the sonographer had to tilt the bed backwards to try and encourage the baby to move out to no avail - although dp thought it was very funny In the end i had to empty my bladder and the baby moved which was good. Lots of movement and waves in the process.

And Yes, we did find out the sex!! We are having a little boy
There is no way in hell you could have missed what we saw

A litle suprised as i had convinced myself that it would be a girl but i am so happy

Glad your scan went well too choc and goodluck to heartmum

Just one more

Chocorange your pic is lovely. Hope you have a fab holiday. Re belly bar I took mine out when preg with DS and couldn't get it back in again and I could have left it as my Bellybutton didn't turn inside out as it is vv deep!(Not that I care as I'm never planning to get my belly out in public again) but if you want to keep it afterwards it may be worth trying a pg one!!
I've put on 11/2 stone already at 19 weeks but was around the same with DS (4 1/2 stone in total. I always measured way over in last pg and they thought DS would be a big one - he was 8lb 4 so not huge but not tiny either!!

bubbaz · 12/06/2008 15:50

just to clarify that is 1 1/2 stone not 11 as it looks - ooops

bubbaz · 12/06/2008 15:52

sorry x post there congratulations lolabella you are obv vv happy .

Heartmum2Jamie · 12/06/2008 15:57

chocorange Congratulations on your healthy baby!! T'is a great scan pic! Have a fantastic holiday, you have deserve it for waiting so long and rearranging so many times!

Anyway, I am back. One of my children is VERY upset and mummy is gloating because she was right all along. I am well and truely going to be the queen in my house of BLUE!! Pics of my newest and adorable little man on my profile. Now for the tough part, naming him . I have to say, judging by how upset ds1 is, I am soooo glad we know now and that he will have plenty of time to adjust to the idea of his brother so that he will actually be excited and happy the day 3 of 5 decides to arrive!

Lolabella, A BOY, oh wow what wonderful news. I'm so pleased for you. I believe that is our first confirmed flavour. I'm so at people having their scans, it must be soooo exciting.

Pinkali37 · 12/06/2008 16:01

Heart - another big congratulations!!!! WOW, all these boys. This is just so exciting!

Heartmum2Jamie · 12/06/2008 16:04

OMG!! Lola I missed your post in my excitment to post! Congratulations on your little boy!! Boys are honestly fabulous and really LOVE their mama's and are very cuddly I am LOL at the idea of them tilting the bed. My boy was not impressed at being woken for a scan and anytime she went near his legs, he kicked like a mule, it looked hilarious on the scan, we were all creased with laughter. Those kicks hurt like heck though, lol!

There was the tiniest moment of my heart sinking when I saw the goods while we were being shown the legs and feet, it lasted less than 3 seconds. I am really glad that I am ok with a 3rd son, I was terribly worried I would be upset. I am sure I will grieve the daughter I won't have at some point, but for now, I am exstatic

Oh Heartmum so so pleased for you too. Gosh 3 boys for you now then.

I am so suprised at the sex as i am 1 of four sisters and thats all i have ever known, so such a shock. Just getting my head around it but dp very happy - he won the bet

AutumnLady · 12/06/2008 16:12

Congrats to Lola and Heartmum!!!

You must be soooo pleased that all is well and congrats on finding out you are having boys! The more I hear of people finding out, the more I agree with DH in finding out ourselves!

Am also of those having scans as mine seems ages away! It's on 4th July - that's still 3 weeks away!

Chocorange - enjoy sunny Barbados and let us know how you are when you return.

xx

cricri · 12/06/2008 16:24

Congrats to Chocorange, Lolabella and Heartmum on your successful scans Wonderful news! Lots of boys so far! I'm getting quite frustrated now that I can't find out the flavour officially at my 20 week scan next week - any tips on trying to work it out for myself I suppose it will be obvious if it's a little boy, although with my untrained eye I could quite easily mistake the umbilical cord for something else, lol
Have a fantastic holiday Chocorange - what great news to go away with, you can relax now
