Evening all.
makescakes you incredible woman! 55 mins after all that pain! What a star you are. Sorry you had a scare when she was born, but it all looks good now and that's what matters.
pp that woman sounds like a cow. Well done for putting your foot down.
katyjo if you go into labour and LO is still op then knee to chest position is really supposed to help ease the pain.
Anyhoo, as for the pineapple warning sybil I did read that you have to eat about seven whole pineapples for it to have an effect, so am not too worried!
I don't think LO needs any encouragement anyway. Had my show on Sunday when I had my false alarm and have had incidents of much stronger contractions since including today and yesterday, so I'd be amazed if I last til my DD on June 11. Appt with consultant is June 2 - we'll see.
Anyway, thanks so much everyone for all the good lucks for tomorrow. It really means a lot.
I did the moxa again this evening, but it didn't do much. I don't know what to think now really. Ended up crying about how fed up I was about it and bizarrely DH talked me into bed which has cheered me up a bit. Although perhaps not that wise when am trying to stave off labour...
Have repacked my hospital stuff into one bag for labour (including first clothes for LO), and a bag each for LO and me for after so am all set apart from snacks. ECV has a one per cent chance of triggering a need for emergency CS if cord gets pinched or placenta damaged so I want to be totally prepared this time - Sunday was a bit scary...
Off to make a late supper and have consolation glass of red wine.
