Oh Sazzles what a pain. Maybe you can leave the spare one at your mum's or someone else who might end up babysitting for you.

Buckets fantastic! Let's see the link to it, then. So you're saying if you go AWOL it's all to do with "moving the pc" and nothing to do with your new purchase??

dizzy hope you got a nap in.

Straightforward day here, friend of ds to play, football, board game, gingerbread men to decorate. Cool and rainy. Oh and DP has tackled the garden! Yay for him.

dizzydixies · 17/05/2008 20:10

VG not a farking chance and by time dh arrived home I was climbing the walls

anyway, dc dropped off at friends house for a very rare overnight (desperately hoping they're good or it will never happen again)

dh dropped at pub to meet his mates who are over on a rare memory lane/stag do trip

home via chip shop for bag of chips for me and am now IGNORING the state of the house

couldn't care less, won't be in tomorrow as doing my proper work experience and can deal with it all on Monday

VintageGardenia · 17/05/2008 20:24

Wow dd are you shattered? Enjoy your chips and have a peaceful bath and book or whatever takes your fancy. You don't sound yourself. Take it easy and enjoy being on your own. xx

dizzydixies · 17/05/2008 20:29

VG thank you and sorry I'm being such a miserable cow I think more than anything dh being disappointed about his exams has affected me the most, I hate it when I don't know what to say to make him feel better - then again a night on the lash with a bunch of drunken Irish numpties should help

Thats in NO WAY meant to be racist against the irish whom you know I love and adore, it just so happens the majority of them are irish AND numpties

tell me, how goes the pram hunt?

TwilightSurfer · 18/05/2008 00:51

Lovely day here. Nothing good or bad to report. 27+1 tomorrow (Sunday)....my count down is ON!! No more than 13 weeks to go!! YIPPEEE!!! I read somewhere the baby weighs 2 pounds and is 15 inches long and can survive with loads of machines outside the womb if born at this point. I don't want to give birth yet but all positive things to know. Baby gear in transit....should arrive Monday or Tuesday. All that's left is cleaning house................I'm with Dizzy, that can wait till Monday or Tuesday or some other time all together.

Night!!

Hi Sazzles! . A couple of buggy shops but still no decisions. Will try one more after church tomorrow and then maybe go back to one of today's shops to make a purchase. We ate empanadas and fruit for tea. The man in the bakery burnt the first lot of empanadas and very sheepishly had to come back for some replacements. No more news from here. Night all. Sleep well.

TwilightSurfer · 18/05/2008 02:57

OMG I had to log back in and post this. The baby has HICCUPS! At first they were very slight then faded. A few minutes later they were really strong then disappeared. HOW WILD!!

Night...again.

hi just though i would say hello due 15th August with my third girl. Have been told it has to be a section again due to risks but i suppose its better the devil you know. Hope you are all well

TwilightSurfer · 18/05/2008 16:54

Sazzles you inspired me. Just moments after my last post I began priming all the areas that need a new good coat of paint. Primings done now I just have to (a) get paint for DDs room and (b) find the paint to finish my room. DH is . Here's hoping I don't loose interest in this process today.

Welcome Punksnotdead. I'll add you to our stats later this evening. Congrats on #3.

Since I'll be adding a new member does anyone else have items for me to update??

Longway.....so did you purchase the pram??

OP posts:
longwayfromhome · 18/05/2008 17:48

No, of course not! Decisions do not happen quickly over here ... but I think that we will buy this one. In fact we might even have purchased it today had it been in stock, but anyway, DH will call up during the week and order it in.

My only slight concern is that it doesn't lie quite flat for a newborn, unlike a pram, - you can see this from the picture - but this is the same as almost all the other buggies for newborns that we looked at so I think that it is fine. Also, the handle doesn't reverse, but never mind, it has a window in the rain hood so that it is still easy to keep an eye on the baby despite this.

Lunch on to cook now ... DH playing with his new drill while watching retro channel on TV.

Hi punksnotdead!
