Dizzy do you mind sharing the doritos? I'm a bit hungry. Still a little while till dinner here.

Good news!! Baby turned. She's not transverse at the moment.

I must apologize. I can't read about anyone's birth story without stressing. I have, however, begun to watch House of Babies again to slowly bring myself into the reality of what's fixing to happen.

of all those that can use slings. I must be an idiot. I can't work any of them but would love to.

I almost hung upside down last night. There's such a difference when she's correctly positioned.

Thanks for the nuts Sazzle but I really am a doof where slings are concerned.

I guess I should admit I'm grazing on tomatoes and cucumbers in olive oil/vinegar dressing. But the doritos would heighten the taste experience.

Sazzles most kids sleep through fire alarms. One of the news agencies here did a report on it. Kinda scary actually.

DH just phoned. He'll come get us and take us to a greasy spoon for dinner. I just want a nasty hamburger...all cheesey and such.

If it helps make him more real...Last night he phoned to say he was bringing home dinner. He'd picked up his and DD's and "said" he'd go anywhere to get anything for me. In the same breath he said, "oh your favorite restuarant is open". When I started telling him what I'd like he replied, "oh just passed it. think of something else." I hung up and refused to speak to him when he got home.....immediately walking out the door, driving myself (by myself) to dinner!!!

How's that for REAL.

On the sheets and towels shelf? - oh you have already checked the airing cupboard, well then, in a bag with your husband's swimming goggles or in your desk drawer?

Buckets, I read your story, and lots of the others, and they were really sad. Nearly made me cry. But your advice that whatever happens is just a bit of a lottery so to keep fingers crossed and hope, was something that I found quite reassuring.

I ate left over curry, some raviolis and a chocolate alfajor for lunch today (basically two biscuits with a dulce de leche (a bit like caramel) filling covered in chocolate with diet coke and felt vaguely sick all afternoon. I should have stuck to a magnum, a mars bar and doritos.

More buggy shopping again tomorrow, so will keep you posted. In 8 months of being married I have come to realise that DH and I do not make shopping decisions quickly.

DH on his way home from work now. Hurrah. Night all.

TwilightSurfer · 17/05/2008 02:05

Longway you & DH are probably wiser folks to be slower shoppers. I tend to purchase and return, purchase and return, purchase and return. Can't seem to get it through my head that thinking about it for a few days might lead to a better purchase.

Sazzles look behind the nightstand or between the wall and your headboard. That's where most of my things collect because my CAT knocks them off during the night when she's drinking what's left in my water glass.

Dinner was perfect (NOT HEALTHY AT ALL) then I drove DH over to a store for some new jeans (convinced him to get a pair a little tighter than normal...he's got a nice ass), then we ended our evening at the ice cream shop. DD talked non-stop the whole time. I love that she's so chatty but where the hell is the off switch?????? Belly baby's also been off the charts today with movement...i'm actually a bit sore now.

Dizzy you must have gone commatose after that third bag of doritos. I do hope you are well in the morning.

Night All.

TwilightSurfer · 17/05/2008 12:22

Sorry Dizzy. No DD in bed with me but I just don't feel as if I've slept. Time to wake the house and get all ready for 9AM soccer game. yeah

On the bright side: 27 Weeks Today

okay shining moment over..................

Buckets · 17/05/2008 12:52

Right, just popping in to say we are moving the pc to the baby's room today so if I go AWOL, it's not early labour.
Although I will leave you on a cliffhanger though, as I've just been to Anne Summers and bought something vibratey! Poor DH looks terrified ... I figured being pg is a good excuse for buying embarrassing 'objets'.
