Hi everyone - congrats Molly! What a lovely name. Hope you are coping well.

Sorry to hear its tough going, PFJ. I'd do whatever makes you happiest re: BFing. As everyone has said though, it does get easier, faster and stops hurting. And at some point it is easier than bottles - but it's up to you whether you persevere.

I know that it's a bit late to be asking this, but I have been very disorganised. Can anyone recommend a baby bath that I can fill from the kitchen tap, and that will be big enough to stick DD (2) in as well afterwards? We don't have a bath, and I don't want to take LO in shower with me...Thanks!

Denny185 · 17/04/2008 11:46

im using the kitchen sink sagitta, in fact only stopped bathing DS (20 months) in it about 4 months ago.

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 17/04/2008 12:01

We are changing Internet provider this weekend, i dont know how long i might be off for...arrgghh! i will text Peachy though so you will know if/when she shows.

sagitta · 17/04/2008 12:25

Hi Denny
mmn, I've thought about that but the kitchen sink isn't really suitable (very small with a ledge above it)...

We'll miss you Scorpio!

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 17/04/2008 12:25

oh it will only be over the weekend i should think anyway

sagitta · 17/04/2008 12:31

I hope so. It took BT a long time to sort ours...

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 17/04/2008 12:32

i'm leaving BT and going over to Sky

scorpiohasstillnothadbaby · 17/04/2008 12:32

ooh yes BT took ages to do ours in beginning too.

Denny185 · 17/04/2008 12:39

Hopefully wont take too long Scorpio, it will be sods law that it will all kick off when your not on line, so could be a good thing

If kitchen sink no good how bout one that has a plug in so you dont have to tip it back into the sink, or one that sits in the bottom of the shower? Could you fill it with some hose pipe from the taps?

sagitta · 17/04/2008 13:23

Good thinking Denny. (you can tell you're a physio!)

I hope sky are better than BT, scorpio - probably couldn't be worse...

Denny185 · 17/04/2008 13:41

Its a sad state of affairs isnt it when your brain works one way all the time - you will not put your back at risk .

MW has just been, not discharging me yet, part of the wound not healing so shes swabbed today incase of infection back on tue - joy another day of waiting in. Aeryn doing ok though putting weight on but still a little jaundiced.

sagitta · 17/04/2008 14:16

Well its good to hear you are Aeryn are nearly out of the woods...

elfsmummy · 17/04/2008 14:18

Peachy · 17/04/2008 14:53

Actuallyw eare getting some now, he feeds at 12pm, 3am and 6am which works brilliantly. Already setting his own routine which is great too, as DH (sob) goes abck to work Tuesday and I am dreading trying to organise the already manic school run...

sagitta · 17/04/2008 14:55

That's impressive. Wish I could help with school run for you! (Anything to stop me having to clean/ prepare for LO/ force myself into some sort of nesting )
