Siikibam · 11/04/2008 00:35

I've uploaded some pictures. Finally figured out how to do it Sorry for the quality, they were taken on my mobile. We haven't yet got round to taking anything more serious.

My brother is an avid (and very good)photographer so hopefully he can do some fabulous family pictures for us soon.

Better go get some rest before LO wakes up for feed. Nitey nite!

Siikibam · 11/04/2008 00:35

PS for those who've had babies in the past, how long did your tummies take to get back (or close to) their previous flatness?

Am going for real now!

Denny185 · 11/04/2008 08:52

Siikibam, afer DD I was back in a size 8 within 3 months I did however still have a muffin top which never realy went despite my stomach being fairly firm underneath. After DS (5 1/2 stone weight gain) I had only just got back into a 14 with a larger muffin top before getting pregnant again so not holding my breath this time.

Carey87 · 11/04/2008 08:55

Morning all!

How is everyone today?

Just looked at the May thread and some have already had theirs!!

My lo is kicking the crap out of me this morning, dont mind too much though as I had the best sleep last night, ever!!

Congrats Sikkibam!

Cx

sagitta · 11/04/2008 09:22

Congrats Siikibam - lovely pics! And good luck Aussiediva!
Pics are lovely, Sal!

Who is it going to be today? How about a little girl for VS?

Carey87 · 11/04/2008 09:22

yes! or maybe scorpio???

Cx

PortAndLemon · 11/04/2008 09:25

I think VS may turn violent if anyone else has their baby before her...

Carey87 · 11/04/2008 09:37

LOL

northeastmummy · 11/04/2008 09:37

Loving all the photos everyone! Good luck Aussie and anyone else who's feeling twinges.

paranoidmummy · 11/04/2008 09:41

has peachy been around lately? i was thinking about her little boy last night and just wanted to check he's all ok now?

i def think it should be vs's turn today, scorpio tom. please can i have sunday? even by my most conservative of due dates i will then be a week overdue

Carey87 · 11/04/2008 09:43

i just had a thought! by my dates im due on 18th!! but by scan im due on 23rd, bugger!

christmaspixie · 11/04/2008 09:45

Carey, I don't get which is more likely - my dates are a week different to the scan (due tomorrow by mine, next frid by theirs....but they recon the scan is the most accurate I think).

paranoidmummy · 11/04/2008 09:48

for what its worth, i think they just make you go with their dates anyway! as long as scan date is a later date it usually works in your favour as they shouldn't try to induce you etc too early...

Carey87 · 11/04/2008 09:48

thats strange, six days difference for both of us

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 11/04/2008 10:01

There was no difference with my date or the scan date - and it has not changed once the whole way through. Does that mean that baby is more likely to arrive on time? Or is that just something that made you laugh when you read it?

Siikibam - your LO is too cute!! Pics are lovely!

VictorianSqualor · 11/04/2008 10:05

M2B2BR, There were 2days difference between my dates and the scan at my first scan (dates said 9th, scan 11th) but as I kept being scanned every scan has since agreed with 9th.
So no, doesn't mean it will come on time!

TLSM · 11/04/2008 10:28

Right if today has gone and tomorrow and Sunday I am baggseying Monday Ok I will only be 38+2 but I had Max at 38 so its only fair this one comes about the same time... isn't it

Well today I am doing the following woke up at 9.30 took my evening primrose oil (both ways) and raspberry tablets ate a whole pineapple now I am going for an hours walk oh also the black cahosh had that too! Am going to buy some sage thingy for my bath tonight - He will come out he will [tlsm does a little baby come out dance with nappy tied to head] bloody hell you know if someone told it work I would! oh and my DH is in for a treat tonight whether he likes it or not!

Right I am off to put my eviction from the big mumma house into action

oh and I put a pic of my massive belly on my profile you lucky lot

Piccalilli2 · 11/04/2008 10:31

Oi TLSM wait your turn!! I'm 4 days overdue already. But you can have Monday if I can have Tuesday.

VictorianSqualor · 11/04/2008 10:38

You have no profile TLSM!
And you can get back in the queue, we ain't having no more babies before their due dates, you hear!

TLSM · 11/04/2008 10:41

ohh [kicks feet]

My profile should be working

moominsmummy · 11/04/2008 11:09

I do think it's very rude when people queue-jump and have babies early when others are already overdue. The lack of manners is just shocking....

would anyone like some mango ice-cream? have just made some

OP posts:
VictorianSqualor · 11/04/2008 11:11

Tis rather, we have 18 babies and only 3 had reached their due date!
How unbritish of them.

moominsmummy · 11/04/2008 11:16

have just posted photo of my bump as of this morning - much less excess lard this time compared to when I was expecting DS

off to have my nails and eyebrows done now. had my hair done on monday and DH trimmed my lady garden last night - so am all ready to go! (although when I told DH "trim it a bit" he heard "shave it close" - grrrrr - hope for his sake baby is late so it has a chance to grow back before I see it)

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 11/04/2008 11:21

Happy Due Date to me

feel fine today, DH was a top class wanker last night but said sorry this morning

Millie is very active today again, just a case of waiting. I have never been 40 weeks pg before, lol. My theory is i am growing a female brain, therefore bigger and better and needs more time, lol

Soph73 · 11/04/2008 11:27

Morning all. PFJ - pleased to hear little Jack finally arrived safely. Take time to relax & heal, it took me quite some time to recover from my CS so take it easy.
Congrats to siikibam & sal as well

I really should make an appointment to get hair & nails done as well but I´ve just walked into the village and straight past the hairdressers & can´t be bothered to go back again

I´m 38 wks next week (according to MW) but I don´t think anything´s going to happen early. In some ways it would be great to see Sam here early but in others I´m quite enjoying the time to myself.

Scorpio - I´d heard of teasy but not the other one you said (can´t remember now) Not sure where I´d heard teasy though.

LOL at moominsmummy DH. Fortunately I haven´t had to resort to DH for trimming purposes as I know it would be a complete disaster
