Morning everyone Smile

Welcome LittlePeanut and Congratulations Grin

How is everyone this morning? I feel absolutely shattered! I'm going to take shortstuff to a playcentre this morning and i just hope i can keep up with him! I can't remember feeling this tired the first time, but then i didn't have a gorgeous little toddler getting up 3-4 times a night! Grin Ben's 20 months by the way.

Hope everyone's feeling okay, and not too sicky Grin

Kayz i looked at that place in Leeds too, i thought they did them earlier though?

hiccymapops · 09/04/2008 08:42

kutilputil · 09/04/2008 12:03

Thnakyou Jackstini
So sorry to hear this cazcaz, hope you well. I'm feeling odd this time and not at all optimistic and physically terrible, inlike the last time...am just slouching around on the sofa and making my ds do the same...well he is lazing with me...moral support at its best!

artichokes · 09/04/2008 12:18

Welcome Jakstini and KutilPutil Smile. Morning to everyone else.

Today I am feeling different for the first time. I am soooooo tired. I can hardly operate. I am at work and just want to crawl under my desk and sleep. I feel a little nauseated too. Is extreme tiredness normal? I remember going to bed early when first pregnant with DD but I think that was just because I felt so sick.

Verso · 09/04/2008 13:09

Extreme tiredness is really normal, artichokes. Count me in on it too... falling asleep on the train >to< work these days!

cazcaz - I'm so sorry. There aren't any words really - but I feel for you. I hope you're back on an antenatal thread soon.

LittlePeanut - I really like your name!

kayzisexpecting · 09/04/2008 13:15

Im so sorry cazcaz!

Hello Jackstini!!!! Welcome!!

Hello KutilPutil, Congratulations!!

Still feel sick!

kayzisexpecting · 09/04/2008 13:21

I blame the pregnancy brain. I didn't see that they did scans from 6 weeks. But I think I might wait.

kutilputil · 09/04/2008 13:23

thanks Artichokes and Kayz for welcoming me in.i'm still on the sofa, feeling weird!really tired and cannot be bothered attitude.I really dont want to be like this, i want to be full of life and fun, especially for my ds.
So anyone have any feel good things we can do to make this journey a little bearable and easy....?
cant think of one my self but will do soon, i hope!lol

kayzisexpecting · 09/04/2008 13:32

Lots of sleep!! I am having to nap when ds does as I am so tired.

artichokes · 09/04/2008 13:38

I am so jealous. I want to sleep. I really, really want to sleep. Instead I will be at my desk until 4, them I will rush across London to meet DH and his very annoying grandma at a posh hotel for her birthday tea and cakes, then I will endure the rush hour tube where I will be forced to stand all the way, then I will get home to put DD to bed, then I will cook dinner and THEN I will go to bed.

rosmerta · 09/04/2008 13:42

hi jackstini and kutilputil congratulations!

cazcaz, I'm so sorry, hope you're ok & you've got someone to look after you for a couple of days Sad

Still have mild nausea which means I usually have to eat something, and also very very tired. I'm so grateful ds still has a nap so I can have a lie down after lunch!

kayzisexpecting · 09/04/2008 13:42

You poor thing. I was at work this morning and I was so tired and feeling sick.

toratora · 09/04/2008 13:44

I wish I could nap when the dc's do - we have just been out with the ponies and the girls have now been bribed with cbeebies while mummy has a bit of quiet time!
(For the benefit of the list, this will be dc3)

artichokes · 09/04/2008 13:46

Hi Rosmerta - just to reply to your question of yesterdau, my nearest maternity hospital is Queen Charlottes in White City. That is where I had DD and will hopefully have this one (although I am drawn to Chelsea and Westminster as well) Smile.

kutilputil · 09/04/2008 13:53

is anyone from London?have you ladies heard of birthing centres as there is one near where i live and i am wondering if it is any good?there is the last resort of THE ROYAL LONDON HOSPITAL and i wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to give birth there, you are better off in a third world country, in a broken shak with nothing but an old lady to help you out...you will probably get more love and care from her than from any midwives at the RLH!sorry, had to let that out, had a terrible time with ds two years ago!

rosmerta · 09/04/2008 14:08

artichokes ok, so not next to each other then Smile, I've only heard good things about QC. Will you go to the birth centre?

kutil are you close to the Edgeware BC or perhaps this one in Tooting. Am not sure where the Royal is so don't really know what you're close to.

artichokes · 09/04/2008 14:26

Rosmerta - I would love to go to QC's birth centre but I doubt I will be allowed. With DD I had all my antenatal care there and planned to use their lovely pool for the birth. Then at 38 weeks I developed pre-eclampsia and had to be induced. This time I expect the history of pre-eclampsia will mean the birth centre won't accept me. And even if the pre-eclampsia does not put them off then my history of serious post-partum heamorrage might...

KutilP - I have heard bad things about the Royal London. You should be given a choice though. Do you know which hospital is offered as an alternative in your area?

chinchi · 09/04/2008 15:27

I got my BFP this morning!

Im only 4+2, due 15 December Smile

I have a 7 month old DS- alot of people think Im crazy Grin
