TheMuppetMuggle · 06/04/2008 19:10

i had hardly any symptoms with DD, this time has kicked in earlier lol!

Verso · 06/04/2008 19:37

Lobsterslass and cazcaz - afraid I'm even older than you both Shock. I'm 37 - nice to know I'm not the only one over 30 in here!

LobstersLass · 06/04/2008 19:41

Thanks for the re-assuring comments regarding no symptoms ladies.

TheMuppetMuggle · 06/04/2008 19:43

forgot to say thanks for the welcome ladies Smile

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 19:48

I am having a real fat day today. Wonder how I'll feel at 8 months thenGrin

TheMuppetMuggle · 06/04/2008 19:58

LOL - i feel kinda like that today, feel kinda sick right now tho Sad

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 20:00

Sorry you feel sick. I hope it goes soon.

TheMuppetMuggle · 06/04/2008 20:01

me too, hate the nauseating feeling!

poisondwarf · 06/04/2008 20:05

Verso - I'm 38. Any advance on 38?

I've asked this question on another thread but has anyone had really bad nipple pain in one pregnancy and none in another? I ask because I had excruciatingly sore nipples first time round, especially in the first trimester, and I'm dreading it happening again as I'm still breastfeeding.

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 20:10

Hello muppetmuggle and annon and congratulations!

I'm very relieved to not be the only 'oldie' on this thread!Grin. Don't feel any older than I did the other times though, hopefully I'll still be saying that in a few months time.

cococat · 06/04/2008 20:12

Hi - can I join please? After testing middle of last week I saw my GP on friday and its a bfp! It will be my first DC. All a bit unreal but exciting. I have no symptoms apart from some AF style cramps and backache which seems normal? Due 14/12 x ps I will be 31 tomorrow!

theyoungvisiter · 06/04/2008 20:25

poisondwarf - I'm still bfing too so nice to find another pregnant bfer on the thread!

I don't know the answer to your q as I have only DS, but I do know that I had v painful boobs right from day 1 with DS, and this time they are fine so far (touch wood!). I also used to get very sore boobs around my period before I got pregnant and since bfing I haven't had this.

So maybe the hormones have a different effect if you are bfing?

Like you I am hoping that they won't get too painful as I don't want to forcibly wean ds...

ChutneyMary · 06/04/2008 20:26

Sympathies to all those feeling under par. I'm ok, but tired today. Not sick yet, though, which is good. Won't be long though, on past form....

Poisondwarf, I'm 38 as well. 39 in September. How old is your first child? I had agonising nipples with my first pg and dreaded the second one as I was still BF (DD1 was 15 months when I got pg with DD2). However, nothing happened and they were fine. Perhaps the BF toughened them up!

Happy birthday for tomorrow Cococat.

Am off to have some supper now. Will check in later.

cococat · 06/04/2008 20:26

Thanks cazcaz - not too sure what to expect really, not having done this before - but its certainly nice to be able to see what other mums to be have experienced on here Smile

ChutneyMary · 06/04/2008 20:28

2 BF on the thread! Fantastic! I fed DD1 til she was 18 months, but was just too tired then to carry on. I'd like to carry on with this one as DD2 only a year, but we'll see.

Kayz, could you put me bacl on the list too please as I am unsure how to do it? It's my age Blush. Many thanks

nandos · 06/04/2008 20:39

Congrats on your BFP cococat! and Happy Birthday Smile 1st timer here too, 6 weeks and still not much symptoms Grin

poisondwarf · 06/04/2008 20:39

theyoungvisiter - that's encouraging. Good to know someone's in the same boat. Keep me posted won't you?

ChutneyMary - exactly what I was hoping to hear! Especially about your birthday (mine's in November) Wink. My son turned one last week (a couple of days before I got the BFP). No time to lose at our age!

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 20:50

fishnchips · 06/04/2008 21:34

HI everyone!

Can I join you? I have the same DD as Bisou and Cazcaz - 12/12. It will be DC#3! Am part v. excited and part v. scared as to how I will cope but its encouraging to see that there are a few of us expecting #3!

Thought I had really bad morning sickness yesterday as threw up three times and was panicking about how I would manage if I was this sick, but last night I had a temp and was shivery then today woke up and was fine - just the usual low level nausea.Phew! There's obviously a bug going round as my neighbour said she had same symptoms the day before - quite useful if you're not telling people you are PG but you are feeling sick Wink.

Looking forward to sharing the next 8 or so months with you! (8! - seems ages away!)

Anonymousse1 · 06/04/2008 21:34

i'm back Smile thanks for the welcome. I am waiting before I reveal all, don't want to tempt fate. I kind of knew before I tested, had backache, enormous sore boobs and pain down left side similar to stitch. I hadn't planned this one, but am still thrilled, only worried about the financial side of things. my dd is now 3 and I am just increasing my hours at work etc, and i've sold lots of my baby things

Anonymousse1 · 06/04/2008 21:35

my first 2 were both late, bet I have the baby on christmas day.
