Or will I be on my own for a while Sad?

Rosmerta - maybe we are 30 on the same day! What date is your b'day? Mine is the 30th. A friend told me that when your age and bithday date match (e.g. turning 30 on the 30th) it is a very lucky year for you. DH met me in the year these two numbers collided for him. So I am hoping for an excellent 30th year Smile.

PS my pains are better this morning, DD slept in 'til 8am, and DH is back in 3 hours - so I am all together more cheerful.

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 09:36

I am so sad, all our snow has melted.

Also I have got to give my Blue Stilton to my mum as I cant eat it now. I told her I just didn't fancy it anymore.

mibbes · 06/04/2008 09:38

kayz PMSL at typo !
Conrats modernlove, yeay another first-timer ! I had imp bleed for 3 days and just thought AF was on her way, then it stopped and temp shot up !
Wow thanks for that Bisou I'll avoid Peppermint tea to stay on the safe side. I have been thinking that often guidelines say to avoid things if you are st risk of mc. If you have never been PG before how do you know if you are at risk or not ? I'm not taking any chances, I know I'm being a paranoid first-timer but I'd rather be safe.
Congrats cazcaz, how funny your DH is so chilled about it ! My AF-type cramps seem to have subsided for now, thank goodness, they are a worry.
I am 32. I live in Scotland and it is snowing here this morning, bring on the snowmen !

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 09:42

I am no good at spelling. I used to be fairly good but I just dont pay any attention

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 09:43

Anyway what typo??

mibbes · 06/04/2008 09:46

read the post about your DH drinking cider !

artichokes · 06/04/2008 09:46

Sorry, I forget to welcome cazcaz and modernlove - here is hoping you both have a happy and healthy 9 months.

Kayz I know how you feel re the cheese. I have some gorgeous Cornish Blue that DH will have to eat all of, so sad, I love it. On the bright side it is still snowing here and DD has learnt to shout "snown, snown". I might bundle her up and take her out in it once my hair has dried (which might happen quicker if I used the blow-dryer instead of sitting in front on MN).

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 09:48

PMSL!!!!!!!

I thought you meant 'Plumber' its spelt right but I think its wrong!!

OOOOPPPPSSSSS!!!

I had to SIT and watch him drink my cider.

I blame pg brain

nandos · 06/04/2008 11:35

Welcome cazcaz and modernlove! and congrats on the BFP Smile

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 12:26

Oh my goodness! We have to reveal our age!!??! Grin.

I was 35 a couple of months agoBlush. Please don't tell anyone!

MrsMattie · 06/04/2008 12:38

hi all. Some disagreement between GP and locum at my surgery - so I'm due either Nov 30th or Dec 2nd. Thought I'd join Dec 08 anyway, as I went overdue with my son. I'm 31 and have a 3 yr old son. had a miscarriage in October, so thrilled to be pregnant again, although worried too Sad
Hello to all, anyway! Very exciting, eh?

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 12:46

Hello MrsMattie and congratulations!

It is a nervous time isn't it, just waiting to see. I don't know how I will stand it!

Strange really - this baby wasn't at all planned, complete surprise, however I now don't feel any differently about it than I did with the other two.SmileNot now we've got over the shock anyway. That naughty persona monitor!

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 12:57

I cant believe I thought we had missed OV this month and I managed to get pg.

I dont want to wait 8 weeks for my scanSad

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 13:07

Kayz, I know 8 weeks!!!! How will we manage till then. Lots of mumsnetting I guessSmile

I have no idea how my body works anymore and the persona monitor is definately a fibber!!

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 13:14

What happened with you persona monitor?

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 13:19

It told me it was a green day so okay to have sex not near to ovulating or anything, BUT BUT BUT it was obviously WRONG.

DH off for the snip after this one thats for sure!Grin

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 13:22

Oh dear. You may be able to get your money back if you ring them.

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 13:24

Oh really? to be honest now the news has sunk in it isn't a disaster, and I suppose you only ever use something like the persona if it wouldn't be a disaster if you fell pregnant. Kind of feels as though it was just meant to be.

kayzisexpecting · 06/04/2008 13:28

Yeah I suppose thats right. It does feel like it was meant to be with mine too.

I didn't really want a December baby as I thought it would be hard with Xmas as well. We kept trying as we didnt want to miss a month out and then take forever to concieve.

nandos · 06/04/2008 13:36

My GP said that my EDD due date is 28/11 but from the DD calc, it was 1/12. i dont mind if baby arrives in November Grin cos my birthday is in November too !

Ambi · 06/04/2008 13:39

Hey congrats, it's come round so fast, I got my BFP on 4th April last year and DD is 16 weeks now. Good Luck all... Smile

cazcaz · 06/04/2008 13:43

I know December babies, I wonder if the delivery wards will be busy. I hope not, my other two are September and October babies and they really were very busy.

Off to MIL'S now DH is back from the DS's football matches, at least no cooking for me today.

mibbes · 06/04/2008 13:59

welcome MrsMattie. I reckon I am due 2nd Dec too but GP says 30th Nov (Pah what does she know ?!)

mibbes · 06/04/2008 14:00

Oh and I think Dec baby will be great as I will have a valid excuse not to cook the turkey this year Grin

rosmerta · 06/04/2008 14:26

I had a January baby last time & the wards definitely weren't that busy then. It was nice not having to do xmas dinner. We went to MILs & I was ordered to sit in a chair & not move Grin
