Thread title reflects the fact that every day that passes it dawns on me a bit more

sweetkitty I'm very jealous! Last time my sex drive went into over time and I couldn't even be touched lightly by strangers and I went all funny, this time, it's gone completely! very as this was the fun bit!

Pigley My nips are itchy as hell, if not itchy then sore, I think it just has to do with growing, like your tummy, my tummy itches terrible and I have to smother it in moisturiser...

JODIEhavingababy · 01/04/2008 22:16

Just realised what a 'sexual' message that was, wet dreams and nips!!! Nothing is sacred when chatting to 'faceless' people!!!

MissPaulaYates · 01/04/2008 22:32

Hello all

here we all are hurtling into the final furlong!

I am not doing too well his pg -still feeling sick 2 out of 3 days at some point. have almost gained a stone now although everyone says the bump is tiny - i have measured it with tape measure and it measures right i think it is just that i am tall

i am looking at p and ts and would love some advice

i have seen these on ebay pram1

and this one

pram2

they are allegedly the same pram but look different - why???

it is such a minefield but they are 70 quid more in the shops here so do not want to chuck money away

Kaz1967 · 01/04/2008 22:34

pigleychez Yep my nipples itch something terrable. Not quite as bad as they were thank god. A friend said it was because they were growing. Nooooooo I do not need bigger boobs I have far more than is fair

The hair feels so much better one colour now and so much lighter quite forgot how thick it got and how fast it grew when pregnant. Bump is just sooo big but I do have this split in my tummy muscles and 4 fibroids which total in size are equivalent to about half the baby It feels good because now it really looks like I am pregnant not just fat

Kaz1967 · 01/04/2008 22:41

Oh nearly forgot (no idea how) Offer on flat has been accepted all I need to do now is sell this place and finish all the work for college this year. Seems such a lot to do

Minkus · 01/04/2008 22:47

sweetkitty I am rather at your, erm how shall I say, solo dream experiences! Have often had dirty middle of the night half asleep sex with dh, lots of fun (and started happening when I was rampant and pg with ds, and just carried on afterwards!) although this time round my libido is inconsistent at best, dh would say it's disappeared totally I expect. I miss my lusty old self but just REALLY don't want to do it.

Pigley my nips were itchy too for ages but they've settled down now (although they've grown huge and long, "kind" dh says they look like anteaters noses and ). Someone on this thread (can't remember who, soz) ages and ages ago recommended olive oil and this worked really well to bring some relief. Happened with ds too, and after he was born the itching got worse- found that breastfeeding was the only thing that brought any relief at all then. Weird. I would look forward to whipping my norks out for ds as much as he did

Kaz are you preganant and solo? (Sorry if a personal question) Do you know what you're doing about a birthing partner if so? Just curious, tell me to bog off and stop mithering you and I won't be offended!

paulayates I bought a P & T and it's fab, light weight and easy to manouver, and easy to fold up and down! Not sure what the difference is though between those two you've linked.

Kaz congrats on the move! I bet you can't wait now, it all seems to be happening!

pigleychez · 01/04/2008 22:55

Minkus- Think i might have to try the old olive oil

Any one been bowling during pregnancy?
Its a friends birthday and we all intend to go bowling at the weekend. If i use the lightest ball and just be sensible then im guessing it would be ok??

mummypig · 01/04/2008 22:57

ooh Kaz that's exciting about the flat.

Shame about your migraine sweetkitty but glad the tablets helped.

Yes I have been having weird dreams too, some horny ones and some just strange. Last night I dreamed about the milkman - but not in a sexual way at all. I think it was because my mum was staying, and last time she was here both she and dp went out and bought milk even though I'd told them the milkman was coming in the morning. So then we had extra milk for ages. Oh and ds2 and I saw a milk float yesterday and I was explaining how he had to drive slowly so that the bottles didn't smash. Strange what your mind chooses to put in dreams, I'd have preferred to dream about the garden...

When I was pg with ds1 I do remember having some seriously scary dreams but luckily that hasn't happened this time.

My boobs have grown recently but you can't really tell above the huge bump, but they haven't been leaking at all, which is strange because I remember it happening before. However I'm not sure whether that was just when pg with ds1 or for both boys. Maybe all my breastfeeding has made my boobs more efficient or maybe I'm just conning myself about that.

Minkus · 01/04/2008 23:02

Pigley I think you'd prob be fine even with the heaviest- I've been carting ds around when he's feeling cuddly and/or lazy and as he's 3 1/2 now I'm pretty sure he weighs more than a big bowling ball! But you're right to be cautious- this is your first baby and if you can't be treated like you are special now then it's never gonna happen (I was a precious vessel to dh last time round, this time he has wanted me to lift the 50 inch flatscreen tv off our wall ON MY OWN and push his mates car when it broke down!)

Kaz1967 · 01/04/2008 23:15

Minkus Yep on my own (bit of an accident this but a happy one) I am going to hire a Doula (which I was going to do here anyway) but moving up to Boston I am also going to have my best mate too She works in a different department in the hospital

Yep I am excited about the flat I just want someone to put in a reasonable offer on this place

Minkus · 01/04/2008 23:22

Oh hurray at flat too kaz- and lucky you that your bf is close by at your new place. Is the flat the one in her village you mentioned before?

Off to bed now, trying to tire myself out enough to not have more nightmares

OP posts:
Kaz1967 · 01/04/2008 23:47

Yep the same one

Bottom one here Stones through from a lovely school with a nursery, shop post office pub has a church and the usual social things associated with one like a toddler group, and playgroup as well as 5 mins (even in this state) walk from Sues Not the biggest.

Just need someone to want this place have 3 more people coming round tomorrow

ichef · 02/04/2008 02:48

Thanks everyone for the welcome notes.

MissPaulaYates - We had a P&T and they're fantastic, make sure you buy the newborn cocoon.

Today we started decorating baby's nursery, is anyone going completely crazy with the whole nursery thing or is it just me? I'm completely obsessed, this is all I think about the whole day, it's the reason I wake up every morning and what I dream at night, I know it sounds silly but I can't really control it, does it sound completely insane?

Anyone else lives in SW London?

EEC · 02/04/2008 08:00

Sounds like a brilliant setup Kaz. You certainly sound much chirpier since the decision to move. I'm sure it's the right one.

Ichef - Haven't been able to touch babies room yet as still in different country but can't wait to get back and start. I too spend every moment daydreaming/thinking about baby stuff, even though I'm soo busy with all the move stuff.

at all the saucy dreams everyone. None here unfortunately. Hope the nightmares ease up Minkus. I often have horrible, evil, chasing type nightmares too, and it's not much fun.

JODIEhavingababy · 02/04/2008 08:29

Morning..

Ichef - I haven't bought the new born cocoon, didn't think to as will be summer baby, do you think I need one?

Kaz - New house looks and sound ideal, how long will it all take to go through? I have images of you giving birth in the removal van!!

As for the nursery, ours is pretty much all set to go, we just need to get DS out of it!!! My mum is coming to stay at the end of this month so we need the spare room for then, but after that I can then think about getting the bed and stuff for DS's big boy's room!!

My Old flat mate from Uni had a baby over the weekend and she is beautiful. It made me start to feel impatient!!

beepbeep · 02/04/2008 10:26

Paula - the first one is a P&T Sport (the most recent updated one) and the second is the P&T E3, as far as i'm aware both are good, but the sport has some new features like mudguards to stop little fingers getting trapped, have been told that the extra money is justified.

Half way through decorating DD1's new room, baby is going into her nursery which luckily she hasn't trashed yet and is unisex so we don't need to change much. Her new room is VERY pink!!!

MissPaulaYates · 02/04/2008 12:24

thankyou beepbeep - they both call themselves sport though! is the more expensive one sport?

this is why i dislike ebay - never sure!

Mummywannabe · 02/04/2008 13:13

Kaz - great news on the flat

Pigley - have very itchy nipples also, not great.

Sweetkitty - i have also 'woken up' so to speak cause of my rude dreams thought it was just me!

beepbeep · 02/04/2008 14:42

Paula - there's no such thing as an E3 Sport - it's one or the other and the E3 picture is def an E3!! Sport is the more expensive one. Good luck!

ichef · 02/04/2008 14:50

Jodie - without the cocoon the surface will be quite uncomfortable for the lo the coccon will also make it easier to get baby out if s/he's sleeping and you can take the top part off so will make it comfy and yet not too hot, it will only last a few weeks though.

EEC - where are you now? Are you coming back before baby is born?

EEC · 02/04/2008 15:26

Ichef - I'm in France at the moment - have been here for a year, but we are coming back on Sunday! It's been great but I am pleased to be coming back before the baby comes. It's all very hectic though, with a house here we are desperately trying to get ready to rent out, and a house in Taunton that is still only semi renovated. Coming back to no kitchen but hopefully working bathroom! Still, no time to get bored...
That's why I haven't been able to buy any baby stuff yet, or even work out what I need. I'm finding sleep very difficult at the moment as there is too much to think about, and am really getting exhausted as there is also too much to do!

MN is keeping me sane I think. I spend so much time thinking about the baby, it's frustrating not to be able to prepare anything. DC's are getting no attention at the moment, but luckily for me they are as good as gold and really enjoy each others company.

Itchy nipples for several weeks, but not today. Small mercies...

minipinkscottish · 02/04/2008 16:16

Magnum classic - yummy!!! No I know I didn't need it but the sun is shining Any excuse xxx

Dh is decorating - great? Yes and No! Great it's getting done but OMG - how come men can't do more than one thing at a time? eg. tidy up as they go? or stop and make themselves a cuppa?
Sorry for moan xxx

BrownOwl18 · 02/04/2008 16:39

Hi all

Thanks for your warm welcomes.

Yes RUMPEL, I am a Brownie leader. I've got 25 of the little treasures in the pack at the moment! Mostly it is fantastic fun - although once in a while a stiff gin is needed after a meeting - not at the moment of course (I wish someone would invent alcohol free G&T).

I am having ice cream cravings at the moment but so far have managed to keep it to one a day - perhaps I'll go off it if the snow returns at the weekend.
