Babes in Scotland this year - shall we have our own thread?

Hi, I can't see any up to date antenatal threads for mums to be in Scotland, anyone want to join in this one? I think there are a few Scottish mums on the due in June thread, so I wondered if we should have our very own for all of this year's Scottish crop?

hi there, i havent posted very often on this thread but thought i would let you know that my son made an appearance on 31st july , weighing 6lb. we have decided to call him oliver. the midwives at wishaw general were absolutely fantastic.

Did anyone have their baby at the RAH Paisley? what did you think?

Paisley RAH? Lots of friends had good experiences there. Haven't delivered there but had a scan there once and midwife was a witch, depends entirely who you get. Just make sure you stand up for yourself which can be hard when you feel vunerable in labour etc. Good luck.

Thats good that your experience was a positive one, i know some friends who had great experiences there but i had to have a scan there once and the midwife was so horrible! Patronising and unsympathetic. I was upset i felt like writing her a letter to say how horrible she had been!
Another letter i never wrote!! Still remember the horrible moo tho!!!

there is always one! in actual fact the aux nurse that took us to door when we were leaving had a face like fizz, i thought it was so funny i was trying to make conversation with her while DH got car and she hardly spoke! why do the job when you are that miserable!!
yeh i would say to anyone to go to RAH, lovely feel to place. where did you have yours?
