Babes in Scotland this year - shall we have our own thread?

Hi, I can't see any up to date antenatal threads for mums to be in Scotland, anyone want to join in this one? I think there are a few Scottish mums on the due in June thread, so I wondered if we should have our very own for all of this year's Scottish crop?

Well Klaw - hope you will still be impressed! Waters broke at 3.45am Friday morning at home - Niagra falls didn't have alook in. No contractions but made way to FP - leaving pools of water on the way - had to go to triage on ward 2 and still had no contractions till 8.45am. Asked to be taken down to labour suite at 9.15am and our baby girl arrived at 9.35am

I was so relieved to be at FP and to all the staff. The baby's heart rate went right down at end and she was whisked way by baby docs - thankfully though she recoved very quickly and we are now home and she is beautiful and feeding well.

So at 35 weeks she was born and weighed 6lb 5oz No stitches and no pain relief

So can I still come on the 22nd and bring baby too??? Oh we are still debating her name so will let you all know as soon as we do

oh no..so everyone is on the overdue overstuffed couch? I'm still here (due 12/7) waiting to hear about my blood test results and see if I have to go in to be induced because of my prego rash. joy. Even the rain outside looks really inviting.

Hey mcchesers, long time, etc - my fault I know, never did get round to that coffee. Hope your rash not too bad. You never know, we might still end up in SGH at the same time!

Abbie is 3 weeks old today and it is still 2 weeks till my due date - this is really weird!

She is doing well feeding little but often

Hello again, minipink, glad to hear Abbie is doing well. Your baby must have got her place in the queue mixed up with mine, I'm 2 weeks over today. Was at hospital today, and saw great mw who was v supportive about monitoring and management and not eager to go for induction at all, thank goodness.

Everything is fine with me and monster, just playing the waiting game now - and monitoring at the hospital every 48 hours, so hope that doesn't go on for too long!

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

Hey ladies - me again.

Whinegums - hope you are ok and that you have your little (or large) bundle of gorgeousness soon.

Just thought I would let you know we are having a wee meet up on Wednesday - at Calderglen Country Park (East Kilbride). Coffee, cake, wee toddle (or waddle) around the zoo/soft play.

Everyone more than welcome.

Hi all, Charlotte Helen arrived 06/07/08 weighing 8lbs. she needed forcibly evicting with ventouse as had got more than comfortable at 10 days late! she's perfect and we're totally loved up in rainy Glasgow!

I have only just found this thread and was wondering whether it is too late to join. I am a Scottish (German) mum with 3 boys aged 4+5 years and 15 weeks.
