CSWS - really glad to hear that.

daisyj · 17/03/2008 16:53

CSWS - fab news, so pleased all is well .

I've just been lurking a bit as feeling a bit fragile. Nothing in particular apart from a tiny bit of spotting yesterday and a bit achy today, just feeling hibernaty. Kind of feel like keeping my head down till I've had my scan IYKWIM. No date yet - phoned the antenatal clinic and they told me to get the GP to re-fax the referral as they didn't have it, but were very nice about it, so I'm sure it'll be sorted soon.

PrePG, so so sorry, love. Take care of yourself.

xx to all the ladies.

hansnava · 17/03/2008 17:00

sambrads · 17/03/2008 17:15

congrats csws thats fab news

only 3 days to my scan cant wait

was away shopping all day with dh and i have noticed a bit of brown staining just a little is this normal i am worried but trying not to stress too much or should i ???

perkypopsy · 17/03/2008 17:50

Hi Everyone
Big hugs to PrePg - life is so unfair and shit!
Hi CSWS - great news - my new date is 29/09
feeling scared today as not feeling so sick . We'll be delivering together up at the Lister at this rate .

bethoo · 17/03/2008 18:11

got my scan letter through the post this morning, i have to wait two weeks as on the 31 march so i will be 13 weeks. so unfair, looks like i will be the last to know if everything is going ok!!!

good news CSWS. Now you have to wait 9 weeks for your next scan, it seems that it will fly!

bethoo · 17/03/2008 18:13

SydneyB - i think i have felt movement too, kije little bubbles. i think with yuor first you feel them later at 18 weeks say but with each pregnancy after you know from before what they feel like so are more aware. i am 11 weeks and the baby is the size of a plum so feasible i guess!!

MrsTittleMouse · 17/03/2008 18:37

bethoo - I can beat that, mine isn't until April.

ilovebeinglazy · 17/03/2008 20:08

Prepg - so very sorry to hear about your baby. Take care of yourself

CSWS - fantastic, fantastic news

I'm really peed off (almost literally) as I feel like my UTI is back again. Went to see dr who didn't even bother collecting a urine sample. He just handed me a prescription for more antibiotics. ho hum

SmudgeyDoodle · 17/03/2008 20:24

CSWS, that's fab news. So pleased for you and must be a real relief.
I saw GP today and was a bit of a waste of time. I said I'm nearly 9 weeks pregnant, she said is that a positive thing (in a nice way, sounds odd here ) and then I said that I wanted to have the care at a different hospital from our area and she said ok but the midwife sorted that out. She said that I needed to make an appointment with the MW but receptionist said next booking in appt was end of April! No good for me as I'd already be over 13 weeks then. Midwife phoned me and GP is sending a referral letter to hospital I want to go to and evertyhing should happen for booking in and scan then. I might be giving you a run for your money on late scans MrsTM

hedgepig · 17/03/2008 20:35

prepreg sorry to hear about your loss, take care H

CantSleepWontSleep · 17/03/2008 20:46

I am really quite at the number of you who have had to wait for weeks for a booking in appt, when it was so easy for me here (saw gp at 4 weeks and he said to see mw next day, as happened to be the one day per week she was in).

hedgepig · 17/03/2008 20:53

CSWS good news about the scan you must be very relieved. I got my booking with the m/w really quickly too at 8 weeks but I looked at my notes from last time and didn't have a booking until 16 weeks which on reflection seems a little late to be telling you what you need to do for the 1st trimester.
Also very depressed cos my notes from last time say I was still being sick at 26 weeks, I so hope it stops earlier than that this time.

daisyj · 18/03/2008 07:19

Hi ladies. Please keep everything crossed for me. Started bleeding a little fresh blood at the end of the day, so left work and went straight to St Thomas's in a cab. Saw a lovely nurse who booked me in for a scan and said to come back if it got worse. Walked to Waterloo station to wait for DH, and started cramping and bleeding a lot, so DH called ambulance and went straight back to St T's.

Had exam, and bleeding started to calm down and cramping stopped. Only a few small clots and apparently I have a polyp on my cervix which might be exacerbating things. Am at home this morning staying very still in bed (no cramping and only a little blood so far). Scan at St Thomas's at 3.45.

I know this has happened to lots of people who have been fine in the end, including a friend of mine at almost the same point in her pregnancy, so... And on the plus side everyone from the medics to the security guard and the nurses were completely amazing, so it gives you faith in the NHS!

sambrads I was out shopping with DH all day on Saturday and started with pinky brown spotting on Sunday. I would say it's normal but just keep a close eye on it and go straight to GP or A&E straight away if it increases.

xx

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/03/2008 07:27

Fingers tightly crossed for you daisy. Really hope it's just the polyp causing the problems. You mske sure you don't move from your bed until your scan.

Jambers99 · 18/03/2008 07:28

Daisyj, sending you lots of positive thoughts, really hope all is ok. Good luck for your scan at 3:45, try and stay calm until then (if you can).

Sambrads, thinking of you too - hope your spotting doesn't get any worse. At least you don't have too long to wait until your scan either.

CSWS, really glad to hear that all is ok.

sambrads · 18/03/2008 08:27

daisy i will keep everything crossed for you

had a nice long bath last nght and i have had no more staining so hopefully that will be it

pregnancy turns me into a real worried mess its so hard to stay positive but hey we need to keep going for the sake of our sanity

only 2 days to my scan oh so cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pinkali37 · 18/03/2008 09:14

SORRY LADIES I'm in the Due Nov thread BUT have been looking for Sambrads... How are you doing? Did you know Duncangirl is pregnant too!!!! xx

Daisy hope you're still in bed and taking it easy. Will have everything crossed for you. Glad to hear things have stopped Samrads, make sure you still take it easy.

On a lighter note, what has everyone been craving? I suddenly get in my head that I really fancy something and then I have to have it. On Saturday it was tuna mayonnaise and I don't normally like it that much. Today was Quavers crisps and yesterday when I was shopping I picked up a pink grapefruit!!

caramelbunny · 18/03/2008 11:25

PrePG so sorry to hear your sad news. Take care.

CSWS so happy for you, what a relief.

daisyj good luck for this afternoon, hope scan gives good news.

Got my scan on 7 April when I should be 12/13 weeks.

Have been craving sweet things generally. Yesterday had raspberries, double cream and half a flake crumbled over the top. So delicious. Also really fancy pickled onion monster munch but not seen them anywhere (not a sweet thing I know!)

Lozza70 · 18/03/2008 11:50

Really sorry to hear your news PrePG and good luck to everyone having scan's. My next scan is the 2nd April so hoping all will still be okay but not feeling too bad apart from the usual twinges.

Not really craving anything but am allowing myself things I would usually deny such as scampi fries and skippers on toast....not together though!
