We got our positive today. Looks like my due date would be 8th September going off period date but 14th September going off ovulation.

Anyone else get BFP for September baby?

Yeah it’s hard to know what to do for the best isn’t it! I guess everyone needs to do what they feel happy and comfortable with :) my friend told everyone she knew at 5 weeks which at the time felt really early but now I’m in the situation I understand wanting to share the news with everyone!

@missmae sorry you’re struggling with sickness! Hope you get the medication and it helps.

I’ve been told I need to keep using the progesterone until 14 weeks - is anyone else on that?

@twinklebutt welcome to the group! Sorry about your previous loss, wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months

HattieRosa · 20/01/2023 22:47

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining!

I found out I was pregnant on the 9th Jan and according to the dates, it'll be due 10th Sept ❤️ I am exactly 7 weeks today.

Due to an ectopic pregnancy 2 years ago I've already been in for 2 early scans. The first was too early and nothing could be seen so they couldn't rule out another ectopic, but I had a second scan today and I saw the foetus and the heartbeat! 💗💗💗💗

I'm 36 and this will be my first baby, I'm nervous and far too reliant on Dr. Google, which mostly just scares me!

Nice to meet you all ☺️

Congrats @HattieRosa !!

I have just had my BFP! I'm 36 and this will be my first after lots of miscarriages. Estimated DD of 30th Sept.

Thinking positive and look forward to sharing this journey with you all.

@Workinprogress90 I will be on progesterone too. I need to call the clinic on Monday. Will keep you posted xx

HattieRosa · 21/01/2023 08:20

@Gymbelle thank you and congratulations to you too. Sending you all the good vibes! I reckon 36 is the right time for both of us xx

Gymbelle · 21/01/2023 08:22

Awww thanks @HattieRosa

I keep telling myself it was meant to be at 36. I started trying when I was 32.

HattieRosa · 21/01/2023 08:24

@Gymbelle I think you're absolutely right. Have you been booked in for an early scan? Mine really put my mind at ease - I was very anxious!

Gymbelle · 21/01/2023 08:36

I will be scanned every 2 weeks from 6 weeks I think. I didn't find out till 6pm last night and my clinic had closed. Will call them first thing on Monday and find out the plan - due to the number of miscarriages I am under specialist care.

Your scan pictures are great 😍😍

kizzy97 · 21/01/2023 10:15

I've had to stay off work today due to morning sickness 😷 don't remember feeling this rough last time

BeatAroundTheBush · 21/01/2023 12:51

@Workinprogress90 I'm on progesterone too twice a day, I was taking it TTC too so am used to it now! Let us know how you get on

Congratulations to everyone who's joined us 😊 excited to go through this together!

BeatAroundTheBush · 21/01/2023 12:52

@kizzy97 oh no, sorry to hear you're struggling 😞 take it easy today x

froglou · 21/01/2023 13:12

Hiya all! Was in hospital for a day yesterday, had some fluids and I'd managed to really dehydrated myself from all the vomiting! Put me on some tablets to calm it down so let's hope they work!

They had my favourite blue cheese on offer in Sainsbury's today and I got very upset I couldn't indulge! 🤣

lalalalalala123 · 21/01/2023 17:34

Got to see our little bean today! Thought I was 7 wks exactly but measured me at 6 wks 4 days. Relieved is not the word since last September we went to the same scan to find only an empty sac… Me & hubby burst into tears as soon as we heard the heartbeat, can relax a bit more now!

What vitamins are you all taking?

I’m taking different vitamins this time. I miscarried at 18 weeks last summer and I’ve been taking Purolabs Puro Folate since August and I’m now taking their vitamin D & K2 supplement too x

PPop · 18/01/2023 12:42

Has anyone else had lots of nasal congestion along with a bit of blood in their nose when blowing? I think that this has to be to do with the pregnancy as the congestion has been since around when I would have conceived and the bloody nose is the last couple of days...?

Yes! This was my first symptom! I suffer with my sinuses anyway.
I’m 7+3 now and it’s eased a bit x

winningeasy · 21/01/2023 21:11

5+2 and the morning sickness has kicked in! I have felt nauseous all day and had to have two naps.

Am weeing so much! Why is that even!? X

Pebblessss · 21/01/2023 22:27

I am supposedly 6w3d i went for a scan a few days ago but she said its too early she can only see a sac. I thought from 6w you can see something or even a heartbeat. Unless i am early but from my last period i would be 6w3d today. Ive had 3 MC before so i am a nervous wreck. I’m hoping its not a blighted ovum again. How are you ladies feeling? My nips are a tiny bit sensitive, I don’t feel sick/nauseous but i do need a nap or 2 during the day.

HattieRosa · 22/01/2023 05:41

@Pebblessss I had the same thing at my first early scan at 6 weeks. We could only see the sac and nothing else. BUT when we went back for the 2nd scan at 7 weeks, we could see the heartbeat. Try not to worry, the sonographer told me it was very normal to not see anything at that stage. Sending positive vibes to you 💗

Rabbithole27 · 22/01/2023 06:09

Hi all, please can I join this thread 💖 I’m only 3w3d so v v early and may be an October baby but one app says 30 September. I’m having stomach cramps, a bit like AF is coming but all the tests are definitely positive. Did anyone else have this?

Yes, I cramped for a good 5 days or so. I'm 4+4 now and that seems to have settled but now I'm panicking about the lack of cramps 🤣🤣

Roll on Wednesday, 5w and ill be able to stop obsessively POAS to check the darkness of the line and start driving myself nuts over something else.

Rabbithole27 · 22/01/2023 06:24

@Lal33 thanks for replying, that makes me feel better! It’s going to be a long 9 months of worrying about everything isn’t it 😂 I didn’t think I was an overanalyser until I started TTC! and then 18+ years of worrying too!
Are you going to get an early scan?

Gymbelle · 22/01/2023 08:08

@Rabbithole27 I have had cramping too. Feel like my period is about to come but very positive tests.

krissy12 · 22/01/2023 08:22

@Pebblessss I had this with my ds had a scan at 6 weeks and couldn't see anything the sonographer had to draw a line on the picture to point out the sac. i was also out a couple of days with dates. i went back at 8 weeks and baby looked like a prawn and had a heartbeat

Workinprogress90 · 22/01/2023 11:43

@BeatAroundTheBush @Gymbelle fellow progesterone buddies 👋

@Rabbithole27 yes I get cramping most days - when I had my scan on Friday I checked with the sonographer and she said it’s completely normal 👍

@kizzy97 eek sorry to hear the sickness is so bad! hope it calms down soon

i have definitely started to go off foods, the only thing appealing to me atm is stodge and melted cheese! I am currently a walking pasta/crumpet/toasted cheese machine. Managed an orange this morning and have never been so proud of myself 😂

Yes, at about 8+4 I think I've booked it for. What about you?
