I am 9dpo and just found out I am pregnant - very early but also very excited! Anyone else due in July?

@bubble55 I'm 9w2d so a bit behind you but mine is about 2 days of no nausea and then 1 day of extreme nausea. Its comforting and awful at the same time. Comes on in the late afternoon more at the moment and goes if I eat but trying to eat through it is 🤢. Also getting stretchy feelings in my stomach and constipated as hell. I'd forgotten how many delightful side effects there are!

@bubble55 oh no... Jinxed it! Just keep thinking not long until the lovely 2nd trimester...

I’ll be 13 weeks Christmas Day and we are going to do a Christmas Eve announcement! My daughter had her Christmas photos taken and one with a Big sister july 2023 sign so will be using that :)

Might be jumping the gun a tiny bit but letting myself get excited and think ahead this morning! Is anyone having any strong feelings about what gender they are having?? I am having such strong boy vibes it's crazy! Xx

@clouise30 im absolutely convinced I'm having a boy! Couldn't tell you why I think that 😂

@clouise30 only 9 weeks on Monday but have been convinced since I found out that it’s a girl, family have said the same!

@thelma57 @MendaciousMabel it's so funny isn't it! I couldn't tell you why I feel that way at all 😂! I think we are going to have a early gender scan so only 5/6ish weeks to wait haha!

I’m going to wait and announce in the new year as we haven’t told many people and my hubby hasn’t told any of his family or friends. Plus our teenagers don’t even know yet!
With my others I felt I knew but this one I don’t know, my friend thinks it’s a girl and I have got worse moods and spots on my chest which can point to a girl 🤷‍♀️

i've always imagined myself with a boy and all my family want a boy, but i'm thinking potentially it's a girl. i've had pregnancy acne all over my chin since i got pregnant, so annoying! and craving sweet stuff which is unusual for me. both are 'supposed' to be signs of a girl.. but who knows! i can't wait to find out!

I've got boy vibes. But only mild ones. I'm not definite yet!!
I don't have my 12 week scan (I'll be 13 weeks exactly) on the 5th Jan. I'm scared to go public till then I think. Interested to know what others are doing about that though.
We've told both sets of parents and we've also told a few close friends (about 5!) and it feels like it's 'out there' and I'm panicking too many people know. But I find it so hard to lie...!

I definitely think girl. I’m covered in spots which I never ever get! And the sickness has been horrendous. I didn’t have this with my little boy, but hubby thinks it’s another boy. He seems to remember my last pregnancy better than I do 😂

Ive tried the ramzi theory from our early scans and the baby was on the opposite side to my boys early scan so I also kinda think girl cos of that but I know it’s not reliable! i can’t believe in 6-8 weeks I will know!

@clouise30 When I was pregnant with my daughter I thought girl, and it was. Last pregnancy I had strong boy vibes but that ended in MMC so we never got to find out. Then this pregnancy I literally have no clue, no feeling either way on what it may be.

First hospital appt tomorrow for blood and check up and I can't wait. I've been trying not to worry about this bleeding but it is definitely preying on my mind so will be good to get some answers and hopefully reassurance.
Last time I could call the early pregnancy team if I had concerns but now you have to go to A&E, and I really can't face it!

Just need a bit of a moan today, feeling so rubbish. Had 2 days off the nausea and sickness earlier this week but its back again. Haven't slept well the last few nights and my hips are aching, feel like I'm getting a cold and my stomach feel tender from vomiting and retching. Wishing the next few weeks away to be honest! Hope everyone else is ok!

I've got night shifts coming up. I'm so tired but hoping I can sleep alot during the day but my shifts will be 11 hours rather than the 8 hours I'm used to at the moment. Any tips about this?
So my nausea is usually really bad in the evejng which makes me go to bed and sleep. I'm worried that this will still be the case and I'll ha e to work with thr nausea at work. I'm a mental health nurse

@Lizmw have you told your employer yet? Might be worth having a chat with them, see if there's something they can do, or at least so they're aware incase you don't feel 100 percent and need a break or something.

@Scotti84 I told my manager last week.
If I try and do one night shift on sunday and it's too much can I ask my manger to switch me to day shifts without any 'proof' of my pregancy yet? . I've not had a midwife appointment yet.

Anyone else getting bloated after eating? My stomach goes hard and I look about 6 months pregnant! It's absolutely fine apart from that, literally just after a decent size meal.

@Lizmw im not sure of the legalities of it, if they have to swap you, but if you have a good relationship with them I'd hope they would. Especially as it's probably preferable you do shifts you can actually do instead of having to call in sick as night shifts are too much and them being a staff member down.

Wow the tiredness is horrendous this morning and sick feeling, I feel drugged and need to do so much. Would have to be Christmas time when we have so much to do 🤢😴. Yes @rach971 I’m so bloated by tea time I legit look 7 months pregnant 🤰. Scan tomorrow, my mam thinks I’m silly for wasting money. Can’t put a price on reassurance. Love how I’m 38 and still get told off from my mam 🤣

off too cos we’re having another one next week but I said the same, there’s no price you can put on the relief it gives! 💕

My tiredness from around 6pm is awful, never felt anything like it, and my sickness in the evenings is really getting me down, DH works late and when he gets home I’m already down and dying off and I miss him! Still so grateful but I never thought it’d be this hard! 😭

@Dannic2018 I'm going to book one for just after Christmas, I'll be almost 10 weeks by then. Can't wait until the 12 week scan 😂 no chance 😂

@Dannic2018 I think I'm going to get a private scan in 2 weeks I'll be around 11 weeks then. I can't wait till after Christmas either. However I'm one of these people that put things off in case things aren't right.

I’ve stayed quiet recently but I’ve just got a horrid feeling about MMC, I was quietly waiting for a scan on Monday to confirm either way however we are 2hrs from the hospital/scanning centre and due to the weather, severe ice, I’m not sure we will make it to the scan. I took a cheapy pregnancy test today and it was so light it was nearly negative looking, I should be at least 8 weeks now so it doesn’t look good 😭
