I am 9dpo and just found out I am pregnant - very early but also very excited! Anyone else due in July?

@MendaciousMabel I started spotting a week and a half ago and all my symptoms completely dissapeared. That's what happened when I had my MMC last time so I was terrified. Needless to say two or three days later, my nipples were sore again and the nausea came back.

Abbi95 · 07/12/2022 10:51

I have lost over half a stone due to HG but I know in my first pregnancy I put on a lot of weight I was also worried and I’m sure if my sickness gets better it will be the same this time round too

EmmRach · 07/12/2022 13:14

Oh no, @rach971 sending you good vibes for the scan tomorrow. I bet the waiting is agony. Hope all is ok.

rach971 · 07/12/2022 13:58

@EmmRach Thank you. Yes it's been hard, got the appointment almost a week and a half ago so it's been a long wait! I just want to know either way, good or bad, rather than wondering all the time. The spotting was scant yesterday, barely anything at all. Now it's back again today 😫 Been going on everyday for not far off two weeks now. Will be interested to see what they say tomorrow. Going to try and push them to test my progesterone if they can't find any obvious reason for the spotting when they do the scan.

dunkedbiscuit · 07/12/2022 15:26

Thinking of you for tomorrow @rach971 the limbo land is just torture 💔

MamaidhMathMath · 07/12/2022 16:50

I'm on team spotting as well - I have a terrible cold and have been hacking up a lung this week, so my cervix is protesting at all the jostling. Nearly had a great attack seeing that much blood, but then remembered I had the same issue last time round as well.

@rach971 hopefully it's all benign for you too. Spotting is super common at this stage but it's still really frightening when it's happening to you

Hippomumma · 07/12/2022 17:06

Just found this thread - can I join please?

8 weeks preg (EDD 19th July) with a little guy about to turn one on Saturday at home so it’s been pretty full on with him learning to walk and trying to climb the Christmas tree etc 😂

I’ve got a private scan tomorrow and very nervous. Took us 5 years to conceive our first and still have that fear from previous loss.

Hope you’re all doing ok! X

Rpsches917 · 07/12/2022 17:09

Hi all, I'm 7w 3d now but having intermittent spotting today. MMC in May so instantly thinking bad thoughts :( have been agreed an early scan but to make matters worse I'm now covid positive so can't have the scab until 14/12 😣 hoping to get a negative test sooner so I can get an earlier appt, the anxiety is so difficult to cope with... sending lots of positive thoughts to everyone ❤️

gg9320 · 07/12/2022 17:16

hoping everyone waiting for scans gets good news and reassurance 💕
I had a private scan today, measuring 9w. I was getting a bit nervous because my symptoms had eased off for a few days, my nausea came back today with a vengeance 😅

rach971 · 07/12/2022 19:00

@MamaidhMathMath Thank you ☺️ I think the reason it worries me is because with my first pregnancy (all went fine) I didn't have any spotting at all. Then in my second pregnancy, it ended in a MMC (although the spotting stopped a week or so before, but I then had pink spotting one evening and the day after, we found out baby had passed). So no idea if the initial spotting in that pregnancy (that lasted for a week and a half) was connected or not. The spotting this time has been going on for about a week and a half again so 😬 fingers crossed!

@dunkedbiscuit Thank you ♥️

heartbroken22 · 07/12/2022 21:15

@Abbi95 do you know how they day you put 2 stone on in pregnancy? Well I weighed the same before and after pregnancy. Hg took 2 stone off me. I hope you're feeling better. I'm not sure why I've put myself through another pregnancy again. Really struggling but counting down to seeing baby.

rach971 · 08/12/2022 09:34

Well... We have a healthy baby with a heartbeat 🥹🥹 Measuring 6+6 so pretty much bang on my dates. Still nervous due to my previous MMC, but feeling relieved ☺️

Fantastic news @rach971 💕
Could they see a reason for your spotting? Xx

Dannic2018 · 08/12/2022 10:02

@rach971 that’s such wonderful news. Bet you feel such a relief now x

Scotti84 · 08/12/2022 10:17

Great news @rach971 can relax a little now x

EmmRach · 08/12/2022 12:37

@rach971 ahhh wonderful news. You must be very relieved 💓

MendaciousMabel · 08/12/2022 13:22

That's brilliant @rach971 ❤️

MamaidhMathMath · 08/12/2022 16:37

That's wonderful news @rach971 glad to see all is looking good

rach971 · 08/12/2022 16:38

Thanks guys 😁☺️

@thelma57 No they couldn't see anything. I do have a cyst on my ovary so they said that may or may not be the cause.

I did however get a phone call this afternoon from them. Was panicking thinking oh god what's going on. Turns out they're offering me progesterone. They spoke to the doctor and he said because I've had spotting in this pregnancy and my last, they'll give me it.

GGxxx · 08/12/2022 18:26

8 weeks little raspberry! Feel so better after having an early scan feel like your making it up before you see it on the screen!

rach971 · 08/12/2022 19:18

@GGxxx Ahhh what a lovely scan. Was that internal or external they did it?

GGxxx · 08/12/2022 19:42

@rach971 was external! Made me cry seeing the little heartbeat. Xx

bubble55 · 08/12/2022 20:16

I’m 10 and a half weeks and my sickness is going now as well as my hunger. I can’t help but worry about symptoms going but according to my apps your placenta kicks in around now so that must be why? Anyone else like this? X

Nicole92x · 08/12/2022 20:16

Seeing all these early scans makes me want one 🥹 I’m currently 8+3 weeks. EDD is 17th July, I see my midwife on 15th for my booking apt.. they rang me and done all the paperwork over the phone and done the referral for my 12 week scan.. so it’s just a waiting game for the letter in the post 🤞🏼 i really want an early scan, just as like solid confirmation.. the first 12 weeks are the hardest.. not feeling or seeing the baby. But everyone I’ve mentioned it too said I’m just wasting money and to wait. 😕

Dannic2018 · 08/12/2022 20:29

@Nicole92x I think if it gives you peace of mind then it’s worth more than money. We can’t really afford it this close to Xmas as we have 3 children but I think for £51 it’s definitely worth it. I’m 8w 2days and we are going on Sunday then I might relax a little 🤷‍♀️ x
