I am 9dpo and just found out I am pregnant - very early but also very excited! Anyone else due in July?

Hi all. I've just found out in pregnant with my 3rd. I have a 6 year old and a 18 month old currently.

I'm due on 15th July. How exciting. The nausea hasn't been fun though.

Those of you who already have children, how did you tell them you were pregnant or explain it to them? My daughters only 15 months so she wont really understand it but would be interested in any ideas.

@Scotti84 my 5 year old I've told her their might be a baby growing in my tummy very slowly and I've showed her the Flo app. She has a look at it...she knows how it grows as she used it when she was 3 and she likes looking through the weeks. Im a bit cautious as I've had a miscarriage before and also a tfmr. My 20 month old...I tried telling her mummy's got a baby in her tummy and she was like meh not interested 😂 I'm going to wait till she's 2 when she understands more...

@missychrissie3 ohh we've got similar ages. Im glad I'm not alone. I was worried I got pregnant too soon with my 20 month old still being 1.

@inkworks273 what colour is the blood? I had some light pink spotting when I wiped at the weekend (around when my period would of been due) it lasted about a day and 🤞🤞🤞 never progressed to anything more. Hoping all is well for you x

@dunkedbiscuit It's brown and like you it's only there when I wipe. It seems to have stopped for now so just need to wait and see 🤞

I've got bouts of nausea today. Definitely ringing Monday to ask doctor for any medicines and see if I can get anti sickness injections at the hospital like last time. I'm a hypermesis sufferer in all my pregnancies and don't want to be bedridden like last time 😭

Just had some pink spotting 😔 I had a miscarriage in august don't think I can cope with another one 😭

@heartbroken22 thanks for replying. Im not going to start yet, its a long way to go, i think im just worried about how its going to effect DD.

Got my first docs appt on 30th so ill try and concentrate on that.

Anyone else got lower back pain? My cramping has stopped but my back is aching like nothing! And i have no desire to eat chocolate which is not normal for me 😅

Really hope it stays away for you I’m 7weeks today and have been in bed with HG since Monday :( on ondonsatron now so fingers crossed it lasted 20 weeks last time so honeing i can control it earlier :(

@Abbi95 how did you get the ondonsatron? Thank you I hope so I had to have a termination for this very reason last time. Doctors wouldn't help.

@Scotti84 I totally understand. I'm all 'we might' have a baby and 'if' baby comes. It's hard.

At first they would not prescribe as there’s study’s relating it to other things but I had it last time and told them I understood the risks I got a lot of information about the risks from pregnancy sickness support which can also help you get your gp to prescribe medication I would 100% recommend contacting pregnancy sickness support if you are having a difficult time with doctors! At first they just wanted to admit me to hospital but I can’t be doing that this time as I have a 2 year old daughter

Thanks @dunkedbiscuit its so tough after loss. The link has turned to brown spotting so will try and remain positive until I can get into EPU. Altho my last loss I saw the heartbeat at 7 weeks and still miscarried the following week 😔

Hope you're ok @Daniki. I had similar yesterday but it seems to have stopped today. It's such a scary time.

Has anyone got their booking in appointment yet? I’ve registered but they wouldn’t book til my scan which I had Tuesday. I’ve left two messages and still nothing. I really want to be booked my dating scan on time :(

@inkworks273 it's gone back to brown so hoping it's nothing! The wait now to Monday is going to be horrible!!

@bubble55 I have my booking app and 12 week scan the 23rd dec, they do it all in one in the hosp I go to, but I'm in Ireland I'm assuming most people are in English here?

Hope everyone is well. I have my booking app set as a telephone call, no scan date yet.
6+2 and the nausea is pretty rough today. Got my 2 year old on my own and really struggling. No actual vomit yet thank goodness but I feel like its coming.
Hope the HG sufferers get medication, I'm lucky that mine was never that bad it sounds horrendous

@bubble55 I’ll be 6 weeks along tomorrow. I have a midwife appointment booked for when I’m just over 7 weeks (this is all an estimate really). Not sure what to expect. No mention of scans yet.

Actually, I think I’m currently 7 weeks, not 5-6. So confusing!

My booking appt is in two weeks so I'll be around 8 weeks then. My nausea is awful atm any "wet" food seems to be setting it off 😂 so I'll just stick to plain dry foods for a bit i think...

Morning all, how’s everyone doing?

Not too many symptoms for me yet apart from sore boobs, weeing more and I’m so tired in the evenings but wake up early in the morning and can’t get back to sleep!
Did my last few tests today and no more now for me! 20 DPO today and will be 6 weeks on Wednesday but I do think I’m a few days behind that!

Got my screening appointment on the 30th and waiting for a letter through for my first scan, is the screening the same as the booking appointment people have mentioned? 💕
