Thanks @Daniki I didn't realise there were meds available otc!

heartbroken22 · 10/11/2022 14:59

@inkworks273 You can buy the same nausea pills u get from the doctors at pharmacies. I ran out last time and gave up because the doctors/nurses at the hospital wouldn't help.

heartbroken22 · 10/11/2022 15:00

@velvetstars congratulations we're in the same boat #3 for me too. Congratulations to all the newbies joining!

dunkedbiscuit · 10/11/2022 18:54

Sorry to hear those suffering with the sickness, I got off without any with my DS but not sure I’ll be so lucky this time! I’m only 4+5 but my stomach feels so unsettled and sore

thelma57 · 10/11/2022 19:28

Evening all! Just wondered if anyone here has PCOS and has previously been taking supplements to help with that? I’ve been taking Myova insositol for the last year and it really sorted my cycles out and I think it’s played a massive part in me getting pregnant!

I’d like to keep taking it as I know early loss is higher with PCOS because of high testosterone so I want to keep it down! But I’m unsure until I speak to my midwife, the ingredients are just inositol, folate (both of which are fine) but also chromium (100mcg) and I can’t find much one way or another about this! Any insight ladies? 💕

bubble55 · 10/11/2022 20:07

I’m 6+2 and I’m sooo hungry! I’m not really a big eater so don’t take a lunch to work with me, I survive on a packet of crisps 🙈🙄 but today I could have eaten absolutely anything and everything in sight. I had to raid my colleagues biscuit stash.

msw1e16 · 10/11/2022 20:45

Is anyone getting cramps still?

Omg2lines · 10/11/2022 20:55

@msw1e16 slight cramping every now and then still but I’m suffering really bad with nausea. It feels like travel sickness and a really bad hangover rolled into one. It’s lasting from the minute I open my eyes until I close them, there’s no escape 🥲 anyone else?

dunkedbiscuit · 10/11/2022 20:58

@msw1e16 yes I’ve been getting on & off stabby sort of pains really low down, I seem to remember this from my first though so trying to stay calm about it

I’m 6+1 and my hunger the last day or two has been unreal! I feel nauseous but also like I really need to eat a hot meal all the time. I ended up having my tea at half 5 yesterday because I couldn’t wait, we don’t normally eat til around 7/7:30 😂

Laura. · 10/11/2022 21:30

@heartbroken22 I'm the same lol. Not sure if my Dd will want to sit in a pram by then but she will be too young for walking! 😅

@msw1e16 I still have slight cramps, mostly on one side. But I've scar tissue there and I am putting it down to that 🙏

Also has anyone had a pinky spot when they wipe? I had it last night and it was only a couple of spots. Nothing all day and then a couple more tonight.. would love to know if anyone has ever experienced similar?

msw1e16 · 10/11/2022 21:39

My cramps are similar to mild period pains. So glad to hear others are having the same.

I'm taking folic acid by its self. What else should I be taking have Ieft it too ate to take other essential vitamins I'm 5+2.

msw1e16 · 10/11/2022 21:40

Sorry to add again I've only taken folic acid the last 2 days so hoping I didn't start this too late either

July23hopeful · 10/11/2022 22:28

Yes, particularly at night for some reason! It's so unsettling despite hearing it can be normal

heartbroken22 · 11/11/2022 05:28

I hate waking upto pee at night! Ruins my sleep. Also feeling nausea early morning...ewww horrible.

thelma57 · 11/11/2022 07:14

Morning all, no sickness for me yet but I do have to properly ‘go’ to the toilet as soon as I wake up!

I got a 2-3 weeks on my digital today and it’s made me so happy, never managed to progress when I had my loss back in December last year so 🤞🤞🤞 grow baby grow!

I’ve also had mild period like pains on and off, it is scary but from what I can see totally normal! They were worse around when my period was due which was scary! Xxx

elowheez · 11/11/2022 07:40

Good morning all

Morning sickness is well and truly here for me as of today! Woke up in the middle of the night with the worst nausea, and again this morning. Very anxious about how I'm going to be feeling today. I am eating these ginger oat biscuits when I wake up to try help the nausea (I am gluten free so my options are limited as I can't have plain crackers or anything)
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can improve the nausea? Willing to try anything

heartbroken22 · 11/11/2022 08:17

@thelma57 congratulations!

heartbroken22 · 11/11/2022 08:19

@elowheez I keep oat biscuits near me too and have a little nibble at night. I've never seen the ginger oat ones. A lovely lady on here said vitamin b12 and b6 help lots. I asked my doctor and he said yeah it's safe to take them for nausea. I won't truly see if they're effective until week7/8 when my nausea hits hard.

Excited423 · 11/11/2022 08:46

@elelowheez I'm feeling the same as you. Nausea has hit me really badly now. Not getting sick but could barely leave the house the past few days. I've been trying ginger, nibbling on crackers and anti nausea wrist bands for travel sickness but I don't think they've made much difference 😟

I caved and called my doc this morning and she's given me anti nausea meds. Picking them up today so hopefully they help🤞

This is me I can’t eat I feel so poorly and down I had it last time and no medication worked apart from one which they won’t prescribe yet, trying to juggle a full time job and studying and looking after my little girl is going to be hard 🥲 I don’t think I’ll manage at all

PinkPink1 · 11/11/2022 09:18

I’m 5+6. No sickness as of yet, but the cramps (earlier this week) and bloating (still happening) are annoying. I’m only taking folic acid and vitamin D.

How far along are you? I’m 5+6 and haven’t had any spotting. I had cramps earlier this week that felt like mild period cramps.

inkworks273 · 11/11/2022 09:27

I've had some spotting this morning at 4+2. Think it's my period starting. I'm absolutely gutted as I've been having progressively darker lines but it definitely feels like how my period starts.

thelma57 · 11/11/2022 09:29

@inkworks273 easier said than done but try not to worry, I was absolutely convinced my period was coming at the weekend as it felt exactly
the same, but it didn’t! 💕
