Anyone else find out there due in April 2021. Just found out yesterday that's I'm pregnant with our first baby, we only started trying about 6/7weeks ago so this has been the best news ever. Would love to have some other mummies that are due around that same time to experience this with.

Hey everyone just thought I'd clear things up about the Facebook group. It's is viable at the moment this is so members can find it. No one but meme era on the threads are being accepted in so only members on here are actually able to see your in the group. Everything about the group is private no one else apart from members can see who's in it and what everyone post. So anyone wanting to join must have commented on this thread or the other one I'm on otherwise I'm not accepting them. Also if you have asked to join but not left your mumsnet user name I am still not added you in until I see the user name that matches someone on here I know. I know this is very early for all of us and mostly no one else knows so I want to keep it as safe as possible for our group members. Once everyone has joined the group it will be changed over to hidden as well so no one will even be able to find it. If you have any questions or you are one of the ladies who have asked to join the group if I don't know your name please comment on the thread then I will add you in. Xxx

I'd love to join the group but I'm currently at hospital due to a suspected ectopic, so feels like tempting fate if I do 😞 Feeling very emotional and worried and to top it all since they put the canula in I've passed out twice...very embarrassing. I just want this over and to know our baby is growing where it should be x

Tiff94 · 16/08/2020 12:58

@Tink2019 I wish you all the beat I hope everything is okay. Keep us updated rest easy. Xxx

@Tiff94 is this the other group you are on? I've seen a few posts asking for a FB group on there but I don't think they've made one and it's an April 2021 baby thread too x

Feeling pretty scared. My tests aren't getting any darker... thinking this might not work out for us after all

felicityheather · 17/08/2020 12:30

And I'm spotting now. The tiniest amount.

calimommy · 17/08/2020 14:10

@felicityheather if you ask a Dr they will tell you a test is a yes or no, but I understand the desire for dark tests. Spotting can also be normal and not cause for concern. Crossing my fingers for you xxx

Tink2019 · 17/08/2020 14:32

Hi everyone, just wanted to update you all. The EPU called me first thing and asked me to go in ASAP because my HCG was very high...have now been scanned and the sac and yolk are in the right place (so thankfully not ectopic), but we're not quite out of the woods yet - have to go back in 3 weeks to see if they can detect a heartbeat, they couldn't today but apparently that's normal at 5+5, and because high HCG can indicate other things (molar pregnancy for instance). Feeling better, but still anxious. The next 3 weeks are going to be very long. Thanks for all the supportive words x

@felicityheather I'm sure everything is fine as think spotting is very normal, but if you have any other concerns (cramping etc) best to call your local Early Pregnancy Unit just in case x

felicityheather · 17/08/2020 14:36

Oh I'm so pleased for you @Tink2019

Tiff94 · 17/08/2020 14:45

@Tink2019 I'm so happy to hear this I've checked a couple times today waiting for your update. Take it easy the next few weeks and I'm sure everything will be prefect. Xx so so happy to hear.

@felicityheather I'd give the early pregnancy a call and just have a speak with them. Better to be safe all the best Xxx

Thanks @felicityheather and @Tiff94 - so glad all is how it should be at this stage. We go away end of next week so will have that to focus on, which is good as know I'll just be worrying about the levels being indicative of a molar pregnancy otherwise. Was saying on the conception thread I was on that I had no clue high HCG levels could be just as worrying as low. Pregnancy is a minefield! X

calimommy · 17/08/2020 15:52

@Tink2019 it really is. First the anxiety to conceive. Then the worry if it sticks or not. Then Scanxiety if it's growing or not. Then worry if the blood tests show abnormalities. Honestly! 🙄

Tink2019 · 17/08/2020 16:09

@calimommy exactly that!! 🤯🤯🤯

Butterbean11 · 17/08/2020 17:45

Hi ladies. Can I join you? Just got my BFP today! I have a 1 year old already - she just turned 1 last week, so I'll have 2 under 2. God help me!! EDD 21st April xx

felicityheather · 17/08/2020 19:47

@Butterbean11 congrats! Xx

felicityheather · 17/08/2020 19:48

@calimommy I love 'scanxiety'! That is my absolute favourite word and will think of it with every scan I ever have (and hopefully smile a little!)

felicityheather · 17/08/2020 19:49

What's your Edd @Tink2019 ? How many weeks were you for your scan? (Just wondering what they could do for me if needed!)

Tink2019 · 17/08/2020 20:01

Congrats @Butterbean11!

@felicityheather According to my apps I'm 5+5 and EDD is 18th April. How about you? x

2alreadywantanother · 17/08/2020 20:38

@tink2019 I'm 5+4 🥰

felicityheather · 17/08/2020 21:14

I'm about a week behind you, I think. Tests look paler. Still spotting and no sickness now. Maybe it was all psychosomatic?
