I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

Hi ladies. How is everyone doing? I have been feeling pretty well for the last couple of days. The tiredness is still there, but not as bad as it was, and I'm now only noticing the aches and pains when I go to bed. I've had PMT type synptoms for the last 2 days and have been thoroughly awful at work lol. The soreness in my boobs has eased off a bit too now, so I don't know whether this is a good sign or not. THey don't seem to be getting any bigger (which is a right shame!). I'm waiting now to see if the sickness thing kicks in, although I didn't have it with DD so I won't be too surprised if I don't end up with it.

Just feels like all my symptoms are wearing off and I'm not sure thats good. Still, nothing else is happening so thats a good sign.

Oh my goodness. I feel quite stupid for getting pregnant at this point. Since the stick flashed PREGNANT my DD (3.5) has been a HOLY TERROR . She refuses to eat anything I provide then screams she's hungry. I'M GOING INSANE!!!

Other than that I'm a bit tired and still a little crampy but NOTHING like Monday/Tuesday. Oh I'm also having wild dreams. I need a pen and paper by the bed so I can capture a few tales and become idependently wealthy.

I have told just about everyone I know about my BFP. My DH thought we should wait a week after the "doc" confirms the pregnancy. I just couldn't hold back. The secret was EATING ME ALIVE!!! I figure I don't get pregnant often so I should SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS.

I want to catch up with all posts on this thread but fear it will be tomorrow before I am able. So Hi to all. Hope you're all well. If you're not, hope you will be well soon.

Glanced over to OCT ttc thread and noticed at least two possible BFPs...verdict is still out, so we should be seeing more baby bellies soon. YEAH!

Josey OUCH for the DD. Nose/Face injuries bleed like a river wild but heal pretty quick.

NIGHT {twilight's head hits the keyboard}
ssssssnnnnnooooorrrrreeeee

debinaustria · 04/10/2007 06:32

I'm here - one of the possibilities!! I did one test yesterday - a faint line, this morning it's darker and a more definite line so here I am.

So pleased to be joining this thread, really didn't expect to be on antenatal in my 1st month of ttc, of course dh thinks it's his super sperm!!

Deb

Trix11 · 04/10/2007 07:32

debinaustria · 04/10/2007 07:36

I think the 11th June!!Just before the Summer season starts here so good timing!

Deb

dylansluckymum · 04/10/2007 08:09

congrats deb! what is it with men, dp was also congratulating himself on his fertility.

twighlightsurfer i think kids can pick up on the hormones or something and react to it, ds has been a bit crazy but yesterday when i went all flaky he was coming up and giving me lots of random hugs and kisses too!

tizzwhizz · 04/10/2007 08:12

Congratulations Debinaustria
and Rolf I think I missed saying congrats to you.

Goingfor3 / Skibump - How are you doing? Sending more positive vibes **

Thanks nh101, systematic, josey & dylansluckymum - glad i am not the only one feeling paranoid. Not glad that everyone feeling odd but glad not on my own. Sympathies to all dp's and anyone else that dares to cross our paths.

Dont know if I missed a post - Has your dd hurt herself Josey - How is she?

tizzwhizz · 04/10/2007 08:21

Twighlightsurfer - Think DLM is right my ds was upset last night. I went out, he was with dh and is normally fine but dh couldnt get him to settle until 10pm. He kept sobbing and asking for me. Kept asking where I had gone and was it his fault because he bumped my nose. He even pretended to phone me to ask me to come home apparently and did actually phone his Grandad who had given me a lift to ask him to bring me back now.

Think they do pick up on stuff especially if we havent got as much energy to play with them etc.

Hope things settle down for you - if its any consolation my ds will rarely eat anything I cook, think thats more a reflection on my cooking. I am sure yours will get appetite back.

goingfor3 · 04/10/2007 08:24

Morning all,

No more pink cm here or any cm at all infact. I feel really tired as I found it so hard to sleep. I will call for a dr's appointment in a few minutes and fingers crossed will get refered to epu.

tizzwhizz · 04/10/2007 08:47

Thats brilliant goingfor3 - really pleased.

flosspot · 04/10/2007 09:42

Everything crossed G43.

Morning all- off to a wedding so see you tomorrow!

goingfor3 · 04/10/2007 10:50

I've got a gp's appointment for this afternoon. I called epu and they said I have to have a referal so I need to ask the dr the write one and then I can call them and make an appointment and I'll just take the letter with me. The nurse said that I should have been made an appointment with them anyway due to what happened last time!

goingfor3 · 04/10/2007 10:51

Enjoy the wedding Flosspot!

tizzwhizz · 04/10/2007 10:58

Goodluck with the appointment goingfor3

josey · 04/10/2007 11:58

Goingfor3 thats good news, hope your appointment goes well and you get seen at EPU quickly.

to Debs

Tizzwizz DD slipped on the stairs and swing her face into part of the bannister she split her chin open and had to get it glued - she is fine though, think yesterday she was a bit sore which was helping her moan even more.
(I think I posted it on the TTC thread)

Enjoy the wedding flosspot

TwilightSurfer · 04/10/2007 12:17

Oh, I see I crossed up my thread chatter. Sorry for the confusion. Glad DD is feeling better Josey.

Glad you're here Deb. Those line tests are not very reassuring but I knew yours was positive. YEAH!!

Dylansluckymum & Tizzwizz glad to here DC tales. I was just sure mine was going mad. At bedtime last night she was talking about the "new" baby. She told me "her baby sister" could sleep in her room. I asked "what about a baby brother". She said "a baby brother would have to sleep in the computer room"...that's our guest room. I guess that means she's considering sharing her territory .

nh101 · 04/10/2007 12:21

Goingfor3 - take your temp tomorrow morning and if it is still high then more than likely everything is fine. I took mine this morning just to check it was still high and it has given me piece of mind. Temps can stay high for about a week even after MC so it is not a failsafe but like I said it has relaxed me.

I am not going to temp every day but I am going to do it a week on Monday before my scan because if I have MC'd I'd rather know before the scan IYSWIM.

I went to the dr's abnd she gave me a referal the only problem was I just couldn't get through to epu to make an appointment! I will try agin in the morning and if I can't get through then I will go to the hospital and book it in person. I had some more discharge but it was more of an ornagey colur which I guess is old blood from yesterday probably, I guess all the walking got it going again today. The gp did say that about 20% of women do bleed in early pregnancy.

tizzwhizz · 04/10/2007 18:12

Hi goingfor3 - might be a daft suggestion but does the ringback service work on that line if they are engaged.

Hope you get through soon.

More positive vibes ***

Kif · 04/10/2007 18:28

I'm having a bad day!

Dd has a vomiting bug (complete with fever, stiff neck and listlessness - yup A&E to rule out menengitis).

I feel really pre-menstrual. Lots of lower back type period pain. No discharge, but i can't help feeling that it's a bad sign - like my period will not notice there's a beeny.

Rationally, I guess it's just hormone pain, or streching pain, but still feeling sorry for myself. We spent the afternoon under a duvet in front of the telly!

Fingers crossed for everyone who's having a worrying time. The first 12 weeks are the longest.

Kif · 04/10/2007 18:31

Twilight n- remember there's 9 months for your eldest to mature! A 4 year old is supremely rational and self contained compared to a 2/3 year old.

Going for 3 - hope it's good news. Sounds hopeful.

Josey - ouch! That must've hurt! How old is your Dd?

goingfor3 · 04/10/2007 18:32

tizzwhizz -
the phone wasn't engaged it was ringing, the first time I gave up after 7 mins the second after 20 mins! I must have been very lucky to get through this morning.

goingfor3 · 04/10/2007 18:33

Kif - hope your dd is feeling better soon.
