I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

Oh dear, I'm turning into a stereotypical pregnant lady - had to send dp out for crackers, ginger nuts and coke after couldn't face anything to eat last night - he came back with a bag of pickled onion crisps for his tea and I could have eaten the lot - first food I'd enjoyed for hours - I normally loathe them! Oh and I spent the evening weeping buckets at the touching stories on the X-factor auditions ... what has happened to me?! This didn't happen when I was pregnant with ds, in fact I had no symptoms at all at this point!! LOL Hope everyone else is doing well this morning!

tizzwhizz · 29/09/2007 11:48

Hi Everyone

Congratulations to all on bfp's. Can I join? just graduated from the caravan thread with a bfp. Due June 5th. Been trying since last november for number 2. Had an early mc in june so at that wanting to tell everyone but not wanting to get too excited yet stage.

Trix11 · 30/09/2007 09:13

Congratulations to all you fellow bfp. I tested last Wednesday and got my bfp, dh and I are still getting over the surprise as it was first month since coming off the pill. I am worried as I had three m/c between ds (6) and dd 13 months. Have started to take low dosage aspirin every day as this worked in my last pregnancy - I swear by it. My due date is 1st June

tizzwhizz · 30/09/2007 11:26

Congratulations trix11.

Its an odd feeling isnt it, you want to be ecstatic but part of you darent let yourself be.

I have only had one m/c and am finding it a bit odd so must be harder for you. But just keep thinking its your time for some good news.

Lazylou · 30/09/2007 11:44

Hello. I got a BFP on Friday, 3 years after MC. Can I join in here? I've got a couple of questions though and I hope this is the right place to ask them.

I've been having really uncomfortable period type pains in my back and stomach and I've been waking up with really aching hips. Does this sound normal? DH took me to the cinema last night and then said about going for a drink (him, not me!) and I really couldn't be bothered. Had a big lay in yesterday and was in bed again at 11.

I suppose I'm just wondering if all this sounds normal what with the mc and everything before.

Congratulations to all of you and your BFPs, looking forward to getting to know you all!

tizzwhizz · 30/09/2007 12:05

Hi Lazylou

Congratulations. The tiredness is completely normal dont feel so bad with this one at the minute but with first ds I felt exhausted it does normally go after the first trimester (seems ages away but there is light at the end of the tunnel).

The aching from what I remember with my first is quite normal just your body adjusting. I know what you mean though as you may have seen from earlier thread I had an m/c in june. Just take it easy sleep if you need to.

systemsaddict · 30/09/2007 13:38

Hi Lazylou, welcome and congrats - and don't worry about the tiredness, completely normal, in fact I am impressed at your stamina!! - I am in bed by 9.30 most nights at the moment, have at least one nap during the day and STILL feel exhausted - going out in the evening is out of the question until I hit the second trimester, I tried it on Wednesday and it knocked me out for the rest of the week! Aches and pains normal too, just everything stretching and moving around.

And welcome and congrats to tizzwhizz and trix11

07mumstheword · 30/09/2007 14:49

Hi all! Was out yesterday then friends round last night so couldn't get my daily MN fix! Really pleased to see some new BFP's, Congratulations.

I can't tell you how pleased I am to read some of your symptoms as have become paranoid pregnant lady! I too had MC (July)and want to shout from the roof tops "I'm Pregnant" but too scared!

Last couple of days I've been having mild cramps/aches and figured that you can't have a new life forming inside of you with no "growing pains" then I read that some of you too are having them and it really is perfectly normal! Hoorah!

DD and DH have found me! Been hiding on the computer now must go in the garden to tidy it up for winter. I wont be doing too much work though!

07mumstheword · 30/09/2007 14:56

Dear NH101 - Would you be kind enough to add me to the list. Last time I MC I wasn't on the list as if didn't exist and I'm a bit superstitous (if that's spelt righ?!!) about it. I would do it myself but don't know how. Many thanks.

EDD 9th Jun/1 DD/ MC Jul 07.

Quick hijack :

Just popping in to say hi to goingfor3, flosspot, skibump and nh101 Hope you are all doing well. xxx

Lazylou · 30/09/2007 16:58

07Mumstheword, then I guess this is the place to shout it out! I've enjoyed being part of Mumsnet this last year, but I've got a feeling I'm going to enjoy it even more now though!

Kif · 30/09/2007 19:10

The second line is very faint - but definitely there. (ahem, I've done six tests).

I reckon due early June. Dc3. Whoah!!!!

Fingers crossed for everyone.

spugs · 30/09/2007 19:32

hi ladies, im from the due in march thread. just a quick congratulations to you all . theres a really good pregnancy after mc thread over on the pregnancy board for all those who pregnant after one, i know theres a few ladies on here who have already been over but just thought id give it a plug

Estt · 30/09/2007 20:47

I can wholeheartedly join in with the "I'm knackered" type comments! Totally shattered all the time at the moment. DS (20 months) does not help matters!

DH is being amazing though. Starting to feel nauseous (was really really sick with DS) and started to dread all the throwing up that feels inevitable.

Nearly threw up in church this morning!

Welcome lots of new pregnant people

Lazylou · 30/09/2007 20:49

How far along are you Estt? If you don't mind me asking. I thought I was imagining the tiredness thing, but it seems I'm not. I thought that 4/5 weeks was too early to really experience any of these symptoms, so am really surprised that it isn't.

systemsaddict · 30/09/2007 21:15

Hi Lazylou, I had symptoms even before I got a BFP this time - got a negative test Sunday 15th, and I'd only tested then because I was feeling nauseous, tired and hot (got BFP Friday 21st). So my best guess is that I had symptoms from about week 4 onwards, although you're not 'supposed' to get them that early at all. Last time I was pg I had no symptoms at all until week 6 or 7, and then just mild ones. I think it just varies enormously and pretty much anything is considered 'normal' - so people without any shouldn't worry either...

nh101 · 01/10/2007 11:37

The X Factor also makes me cry!

Hi Tizzwizz, it is scary isn?t it? I have gone from elation to anxiety now and the days are dragging by ? can?t believe I am still only 5 weeks PG!

Good luck Trix! Hope this one is sticky for you.

Lazylou ? it all sounds pretty normal, the early pregnancy unit told me period-type pains were normal. And tiredness is definitely normal ? I am worried that I am not tired enough! I am feeling very uncomfortable in my abdomen (like indigestion) and feel really fat already (although I weighed myself Saturday and hadn?t put any weight on) and obviously feel that every twinge is bad news. But the likelihood is that it is not bad news. I don?t think you can predict whether your pregnancy is going to be OK or not so unfortunately you just have to stick it out and wait!

Congrat Kif! Keeps us posted with your news.

Thanks Awen ? hope you are doing OK, I read a post of yours on the pregnancy thread, you were worried so hope that has sorted itself out.

Updated list - hope everyone is on here, add yourself if you are not!
