I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

I could do with a breast reduction also!
Im just going to have to watch what I eat during this prenancy or I will end up with Triple H boobs!
I dont think you know me on Mumsnet nh101, I will come out of the closet so to speak in the near future

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 15:45

Dont be intrigued in any way as Im actually a boring mumsnetter youve probably never heard of and not a well known name like you are probably imagining!

nh101andhertwinbeans · 25/10/2007 15:45

BSL - I am 8+3 today. Over the weekend I slept loads and on Sunday I didn't feel as sick as I had been. I was tired though. I had Monday off work and hardly felt sick at all but then have got progressively worse from then! I probably felt better over the weekend cos I rested and Monday I stayed in bed all day.

I think there is no normal way to feel at any stage in pregnancy and as we have had previous MCs we are always going to worry something is wrong. Some days I feel more worried than others!

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 15:46

Also congratulations about the Twins

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 16:12

Congratulations 3rdontheway, I also have 2 already!! When are you telling dh then?

Deb

nh101andhertwinbeans · 25/10/2007 16:18

Thanks 3rd... How can you not tell DH? How long have you known for?

TwilightSurfer · 25/10/2007 16:23

NH101 you make a good point that you felt better possibly due to rest. I think my MS last time was forced into overdrive because I was working 60 hour weeks. This time my very minor gag sessions have occured on mornings that I'm rushed to get me and DD out the door for whatever reason. I consider myself very lucky to be able to stay home now.

flosspot · 25/10/2007 18:34

Congrats 3rdontheway- please don't mention childbirth and pain just yet though...several of us are just so excited to be pg after various traumas, that we don't need anything else to worry about

I of course, am worried, about pretty much everything. I can't imagine my boobs any bigger than the 36F they already are. I can't imagine ever cooking again- the smell of any cooking food makes me want to gag. I can't seem to regulate my temperature, so am either boiling hot or shivery cold.....and I'm still knicker-watching like a rabid dog. I am officially a freak.

I am however 9 weeks today. yippee. I have a scan in the morning, and my doctor has finally got all the paperwork going.

NH- how about you are just NHandhertwins? Did wonder where you had got to as you started this thread and have been quite quiet. Glad everything is OK.

Hello to all others....hope you are all faring as well as can be expected!!!

Rolf · 25/10/2007 18:41

Flosspot, I'm pleased (in a nice way!) to hear about your dodgy body temperature - I'm the same way too and was feeling a bit freaky. Mostly far too hot, and I'm also a bit breathless. I get quite anaeumic in pregnancy although not usually this early on. I hope it's not happening this early as it's a pain to manage.

9 weeks sounds so advanced and

flosspot · 25/10/2007 18:43

So glad to hear I am not the only one Rolf- also feeling quite tired and heavy as well. Thought I was just losing the plot...Dh certainly thinks so .

Rolf · 25/10/2007 18:49

Same here. I could go to bed right now, quite easily. And I'm being hopeless at feeding everyone. They are being very nice and patient with me but I do need to get my act together.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 19:05

Worried about babyalfie - you ok?

sophiewd · 25/10/2007 20:07

God what happened, I left for a few hours and its all gone horribly strange.

I was Queen of Bleach by the way but reverted back as was sick of being thought of as anally retentive whenever I complained about my nephews appalling behaviour.

Also worried about BabieAlfie

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 20:14

Oh....do you mean the format of MN??? If so, thought it was my computer playing up!!! What's up with it I wonder - it's annoying!!

sophiewd · 25/10/2007 20:16

Tech has been playing, there are various conversations about it, you can change it back if you go to customise.

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 20:20

How are you Babyalfie?

I too have the dodgy body temperature - I'm usually colder than everyone else.

Why on earth did I complain about not being sick this morning? I've made up for it since!!I don't lose a whole meal but the last mouthful of everything I eat or drink !

I had a nap on the settee this afternoon and now it's 9.18 and I could so easily go to bed. Looking forward to tomorrow as MIL arrives and when we tell her the news she'll be clucking around me, and helping out with the boys which will be great. Dh has been fantastic too I have to say - he's so sympathetic, just as well that men aren't the ones to carry babies as I am so unsympathetic when he's ill. I don't think I'd be as supportive as he is.

Night everyone, off to bed soon

Deb

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 20:21

Cheers - went to tech area and saw that THANK GOD!!!

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 20:25

It's very confusing BSL Isn't it? Especially to a pg mind!!

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 20:31

I must be really dense today , only just seen the new emoticons

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 20:32

Yeah I was swearing at myself and everything as I couldn't work through Mumsnet in my usual quick way

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 20:32

Don't worry - earlier you had to press F5 to be able to see them

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 20:34

It's not just me then!!

How are you tonight BSL?

LittleDIE34 · 25/10/2007 20:38

Me too on the body temperature - last time round I had cold feet for the whole pregnancy, now I'm just cold all over.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 20:42

No

I'm ok thanks, had pain low down all day but not bad enough to need to go in before tomorrow morning. Bleeding usual when I strain - sneezed earlier and it hurt my side but suppose it would. Anyway....on a funnier note.....I came up to bed at 7pm. Dh reheated last nights chinese for me and I'm happily eating and making a mess when he enters the bedroom (me in bed clothes) with his MATE!!! He's come round to talk about some singing competition they're doing and it's the first time this guy has been to our new house (well, been here a year next week but..) - he spent ages in here showing his mate the walls and talking about why not decorated etc etc (I put my plate of food down and pulled the duvet up ) and I'm glaring at him like WTF are you doing in here!!!! MEN eh!!! I'm on bed rest with worries and dripping chinese down my chin and well......I thought a tad bit inappropriate!!! Oh well.....he's loosing it in his old age I think!!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 20:43

With this temp thing....is anyone say like cold on their feet etc. bit keep getting hot body flushes? I keep getting that - take my jumper off as BOILING hot and then suddenly go back to normal and think brrrrr!!!
