I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 10:05

Gracie13 - Thanks

babyalfie - it's happening all over I'm afraid! I'm not trying to be lazy, I'm happy to have certain things in place but I DO NOT agree with telling children I can't play with them right now because I'm writing observations as they play!!! What do you mean about where the thread has gone?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 10:05

p.s. good luck with the scan - I know loads of people who've lost blood and been fine, the fact you have all these symptoms can only be good imo - I lost all mine on Monday.

josey · 25/10/2007 10:57

Morning hows everyone today - Im scared as I feel quite well, Ive never got this far in PG without being awful, I seem to have lost a bit of weight my tummy is roundish and boobs are doing what they should. I have had the odd wave but nothing to what I have had with my previous Im I being ungratefull that I maybe having a 3rd time lucky pg?

DD is fine rash is fading a bit - she had been pretty grumpy and didnt sleep a few nights ago had a bad smell coming from her mouth but she fell and burst the bit in her mouth she was op'd on so I put it down to that! Bad mothering on my behalf!!

LOL debs glad you have been sick again, hope all goes well with the boys, I told my DS the day before my scan with DD and he kept it secret even from his granny that new she was finding it harder than he was I could do with telling DS now but his behaviour has been awful just now and he has never forgiven me for giving him a sister so im in for a tough time!!

BSL Im wondering if you have maybe given yourself a little cut or something inside? sometimes with all the bding you can unknowingly hurt yourself, and if its worse with straining? just an Idea because when I had PINK with DS it was from high hormons and frantic bedding

Babyalfie hope you get on ok today, there really are so may reasons as to why we can bleed fingers crossed yours is a good reason, sounds as could be with you still having symptoms - good luck

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 11:05

josey - hope so although we didn't actually do my BD'ing at all! It's this month when we didn't do much and I decided to sort of stop trying that we conceived!

Off to a friend's for lunch so catch you all later x

flosspot · 25/10/2007 11:31

Just wanted to share this with you all....very funny.

Gracie14 · 25/10/2007 11:47

josey - How far along are you now? I'm also abit concerned as I don't actually 'feel' pregnant as such still quite early but hope this isn't a bad sign, still doesn't feel real. But then again I haven't been pregnant before so wouldn't really know what I should be feeling

libralady · 25/10/2007 12:21

Afternoon,

Just thought I'd let you know my experience at Drs this am as I've read that some of you have seemed depleted upon leaving.
Only tested on Saturday and got a vv faint line at CD 25. Got a BFP on Monday at CD 27.
Phoned Drs this morning 8:15 and just asked for appointment. Was given an appt @ 8.55 with a locum. Very pleasant young girl (not meaning to sound patronising) and said I think I'm pregnant!
Congratulations, how far long do you think you are?
Just over 4 weeks.
Well then, the first thing you need to do is book an appt with MW who arrange bloods and 12 week scan.
When do you want me to see her.
Monday.
Gave me load of info re tests available due to my age and stated I may be classed as a high risk pgy due to my medical history (bad sciatica, prolapsed discs, recent spinal surgery etc) but said I would get better info from MW when I see her.
Asked about the fact that I'd tested so early and got a + and enquired about twins. Said it could be a possibility but will show up on scan. Even asked if I had a problem if it turned about to be twins.
Talk about a professional and courteous and informative consultation. I was so impressed and left feeling quite elated.
Just one problem, booked my MW appt on Monday (2.15pm) and as I was leaving MIL and FIL were coming into the surgery. Asked what I was doing there and tried to skirt around the question but asking why they were there. Just said I had appt with Dr, and MIL looked v suspiciously at me. DH and I have decided not to tell anyone until Christmas and hopefully we can put a picture of the scan in their and my parents Christmas Cards. Have warned DH and he said if they ask, just say you went up there with women's problems and hopefully they won't ask any further. My MIL is NOT stupid and is as sharp as a tac @ 83!
Hope the scans have gone OK for people and that Looney you are OK as well. You made the right decision to cancel the BBC reporter.

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 12:54

Sounds like a very positive experience LL, lol about meeting MIL and FIL!!!

Deb

TwilightSurfer · 25/10/2007 13:24

Josey we are on the same pregnancy wave. Week 7 Day 5 for us both, right. NO MS FOR ME EITHER. I've gagged a few times but NOTHING like with DD. I've been hanging on to the other mild symptoms like: no AF, belly pooched, boobs nice and full (& itchy), slightly emotional, skin beautiful (very odd), mild constipation, crazy sleep patterns, and times of SEVERE TIREDNESS. When I spoke of this to RL friends they gave me scathing looks . Supposedly we are suppose to be elated by the abscence of MS .

Here's me being elated ! I HAVE NO MORNING SICKNESS . YIPPEE !!!

did anyone believe me?

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 13:52

Hi i got a bfp yesterday!
Im a regular but have changed my name for a while.
I havent told anyone yet not even my dh!
Im still in shock and I have 2 other children also.

TwilightSurfer · 25/10/2007 13:54

Congratulations 3rdontheway!!

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 13:56

Also my EDD according to the web is 21st June.

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 13:57

Thankyou Twilightsurfer

Gracie14 · 25/10/2007 14:07

libralady - That sounds like a really positive appointment, think I will arrange one for Monday, by then should be 5weeks +. Can't believe your MIL and FIL turned up of all the times to be at the docs and they choose when your there Thats a lovely idea about the scan picture, I don't know how I'm going to hold it all in until Christmas. I have told my very BF today, I know its early but want her support regardless of how things turn out.

3rdontheway - Congratualtions - its so exciting and scary at the same time isn't it

Twlight - I'm afraid I'm the same as you - bring it on - I've wanted this for so long now (a baby I mean not sickness! ) but I thought MS just came with the territory!

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 14:18

It is scary and exciting Gracie14!
Im dreading the pain of giving birth again already!
The thing Im worried about this time Is Im a lot heavier now than I was at the start of my other two pregnancies.
Is anyone else in the same boat?

TwilightSurfer · 25/10/2007 14:31

Gracie14 according to all I've been told and read, MORNING SICKNESS is a phenom that can happen while you're pregnant but doesn't have to. It has nothing to do with having a boy or a girl. It doesn't mean you are or aren't having multiples. It doesn't mean you're having a healthy pregnancy or not. It's just a crazy YUK that MIGHT happen if you choose to tango . I can say those you have it HATE those you don't .

HeyBaby07 · 25/10/2007 14:39

3rd on the way congratulations, that's really exciting! (same EDD as me too!)

I checked out the website of the hospital I'm hoping to be booked in for today re what happens now (hard to call GP at work with people around!) apparently my GP should be sending referral letter to the hospital following my appointment on Tuesday and the hospital website said it aims to contact you within 2 weeks to make a booking appointment before the 12 week scan. has helped put my mind at rest, just hope they have room for me at that hospital, it's the one I really want. I should have said, we have just moved into this area so Tuesday was my 1st ever visit to the new dr's surgery - not great timing huh!

Re the non MS/not feeling pg comments - I still don't really believe I'm pregnant, I mean tiredness is such a boring symptom isn't it?! At least I'll know when my breasts do change...can't help notice when they're only 34A to start with

3rdontheway · 25/10/2007 14:46

Congatulations to all the June Mums
HeyBaby it is very exciting and will be nice to have Summer babies.
As for bra size I wish I was a 34a at the minute, as im a 36F so Im kinda worried what size they will grow to!

HeyBaby07 · 25/10/2007 14:53

LOL 3rdontheway, I can only dream about that kind of chest (I'm sure the reality's a bit different though)

Gracie14 · 25/10/2007 14:53

Heybaby - Thats good news, at least you know something is happening and hopefully you will hear soon And your right about tiredness being a boring symptom

3rdontheway - I'm with you my bra size is a 34FF at the moment so could grow to gigantic proportions (which they pretty much are already ) so boobs could be entering the room 10 minutes before the rest of me

QueenofBleach · 25/10/2007 14:56

3rdontheway, I had that chest and had a reduction before I got married as back paon was intloerable much better now.

HeyBaby07 · 25/10/2007 15:03

btw - another symptom I'm experiencing - horrendous irritability, but only with certain people! I want to throw a brick at my boss today

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 15:13

babyalfie - just thought I'd see how it went hun?

libralady - that sounds like a fab visit!! When I went on Monday they said they don't test as all urine tests are as good as each other these days. Told me to ask reception to book me in with the Midwife for 'booking appointment' and to collect a pregnancy pack from them. I really feel for those who are told nothing, especially first timers!!

flosspot - seen it already - brilliant isn't it!!!

3rdontheway - I've added you to the list - congratulations!

Well, I've changed my EDD too (although probably shouldn't have until scan tomorrow). Reason the date is different is that I went to pick my letter for the hospital up and they have it down as my EDD. They also have 10th September down as LMP - last period was actually on 17th September, on 10th September I was CD19! Oh well....this I presume means I either ovulate at a funny time, there's more than 1 which is making me appear further gone or I am further gone but hormone levels are dropping as a problem. Anyway, not that long to wait so I'll just ask the questions then.

nh101andhertwinbeans · 25/10/2007 15:33

Well, having spent most of the week terrified that my babies had died because I just didn't feel sick enough, the sickness has returned with a vengeance. I just feel so rough - I have even resorted to eating Hula Hoops and Thorntons. They worked - for about 10 minutes! I can hardly eat chocolates every 10 mins to make me feel better though can I. I'm already likely to gain 45 pounds with these twins!!!!

I do feel better though - about the PG I mean. Have been getting serious jitters but now feel (hope) all is well.

Welcome to all newbies!

Hello 3rdontheway - do we know each other???? I am intrigued about who you are!

Also I need to change my name as apparently my twins are now officially foetuses (8 weeks). So instead of twinbeans what should it be?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 15:39

Glad you are feeling better. Did you have a period of time where you didn't feel pregnant at all? If so, would you mind telling how long you felt like that? Just for reassurance As for your name, I don't know as I love that name - think you should keep it!
