I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

HeyBaby07 - I was given a pack with loads of info and told what food to avoid - did you not get ANY info? Not a midwifery folder thing or anything?

imopop - oh {{{hugs}}} - I've been worried and I've only had 1. It's horrible isn't it. I wish you all the best of luck that everything is ok xxx

Sorry I didn't say all this earlier, was in a bit of a nervous state - think I'm going to cancel.

LT x

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 24/10/2007 19:34

Gracie14 - that's what I'm thinking. I feel strongly about it and normally would go for it but I thinks it's all too much too soon (only started it on Friday night) and with what's going on, I'm not thinking right.

Gracie14 · 24/10/2007 19:34

Wow this thread moves quickly - must type faster.

China - Thanks for that info, just wanting everyone to be as excited as me including the doctors

Gracie14 · 24/10/2007 19:37

BSL - that did move quickly, I think you should cancel for another time when your head is more together and you can think properly. Do what is comfortable for you

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 24/10/2007 19:38

Thanks, I'm going to.....going to see if I can persuade dh to phone!

Lazylou · 24/10/2007 20:23

Gmakes3, I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss and I truly hope it won't be long before you are back with us (((hugs)))

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 24/10/2007 20:41

Right, I cancelled and it was the right thing....bleeding again

HeyBaby07 · 24/10/2007 20:49

BSL/QOB - no, I didn't get an info pack or midwifery folder - have been reading as much as I can myself, that and talking with "already mum" friends is all the info I have at the mo - going to call dr's surgery tomorrow to ask about community midwives just so I don't feel like I'm missing anything I should be aware of.

And I think BBC reporters would be the last thing I'd want to face right now too sounds exciting, but not right now?

Thinking of you for tomorrow imopop x

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 24/10/2007 20:55

Poor you - it's bad enough the 2nd time round when it's been 5 years!! Hope you get the info you need soon!

And yes, I did tell the reporter it wasn't the right time but I was (nicely) pushed into it. Glad I've cancelled, just wish hadn't started bleeding again. And PINK blood....what's that all about????

josey · 24/10/2007 21:10

oh what an afternoon - dd has come out in a nasty rash of course I panic, I phoned the surgery and the lovely dr went though lots of things on the phone and said to be safe to bring her down, when I got there the dr she saw wasnt very fussed asked me to strip her totally when you could see the rash on her arms more than clearly said "hmm virus, you can get her dressed and go"

BSL breath in breath out - im sure if its pink its not from your baby by your cervix try and stay calm and rest as much as you can, easlier said than done I know, Friday isnt long to wait - fingers crossed for you

I got my midwife pack to start filling in the paperwork from reception at the clinic when I made booking in appointment, I went to the dr and they just said fine, but my last 2pg's the dr had to refer me to my midwife section and the hosptial.

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 06:17

Morning everyone

BSL - any more pink bleeding? You were right to cancel the reporters

Josey how's your DD this morning?

Now it's my turn to join the "let's be paranoid in early pregnancy club" - I've only been sick once this morning - what's that all about? I should be thankful but instead you think what's wrong? Hormone levels must be down. Trying not to think about it too much.

libralady · 25/10/2007 07:10

Morning Debs,
You get on here early as well don't you. Are you as addicted to MN as I am? I don't post always but I love reading what is going on. Some people find it natural to make witty comments which I do find amusing, but I'm no good at that so I just keep stmmmmm.
Not too sure about the MS. Didn't really suffer from it in my forst pg, just the occasional wave of nausea and the gag reflex but not actually sick iykwim. Haven't had any of that yet but it's only v v early days just 4+1 by my dates.

libralady · 25/10/2007 07:11

Don't you just love the spooky emotions!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 07:51

josey - thanks and sorry you had what feels like a wasted trip - gosh sometimes they can be SO insensitive can't they!!!

debinaustria - had it last night but nothing so far this morning though. Do have cramping VERY LOW down though. As for you loosing your sickness, I checked your EDD and work out you're about 8 weeks??? From what I've read, a lot of people's sickness etc settles down around the 8 week mark. Fingers crossed it's just things settling down for you. It's horrible though isn't it, we feel ill and complain and then it goes and we worry!!

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 08:01

Hi

Pleased to report that I have been sick again - panic over!!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 08:07

at being to be sick again!!!

debinaustria · 25/10/2007 08:12

BSL - any more pink discharge?

Just made my 1st gynae appointment for 5th November, and we've decided to tell the boys tomorrow. I didn't intend to tell them so soon but they are worried about the fact that I'm sick every day. So we'll tell them in the morning, pick up Mil from the airport in the afternoon and they can tell her. Then they have to try and keep it a secret until my Mum comes out in 3 weeks - what do you think my chances are?

Deb

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 08:17

Just a bit when I went to the loo just now. It seems worse when I go for number 2's

babyalfie · 25/10/2007 08:34

Dosh everything does move fast on here.

I am going for my scan this morning. I was bleeding a little red blood again last night so again not sure what is going on. I do however feel very sick and my breasts are very tender too.

I will let you know when I get home as how everything has gone. My daughters want to come with me as does my partner but I have told them to be prepared there may be no baby.

Nicola

Gracie14 · 25/10/2007 08:54

Morning all,

babyalfie - Hope the scan all goes well this morning - try and keep positive and we'll all be thinking of you

deb - at wanting more sickness, I haven't really felt much different to be honest apart from a metal taste in my mouth and boobs abit tender although still early. When did your sickness start?

Heybaby - Let us know how you get on at the surgery I'm just waiting at the moment to decide what to do, I think I should probrbly wait until next week at least but if you get any further with what happens next it will be good to hear

BSL - Glad you decided to cancel, make sure you try and rest as much as possible today, my BF bled alot in the early days and all was fine and my other friend who is pregnant has been bleeding on and off and scan 2 days ago showed all was fine. Take care of yourself

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 08:55

BA - fingers crossed very tightly that everything is ok. Best of luck, will be thinking of you! What time is your scan?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 25/10/2007 08:57

Gracie14 - me too, especially as had a bit more blood and in pain now - I'd be in a right state if I hadn't cancelled!!! I shouldn't have let her push me into it to start with! I hear loads of stories that things are fine with blood, think previous MC just makes you paranoid! I'd feel better if I hadn't lost all my symptoms and got pain. Oh well, 24 hours and 30 mins to wait!!!

babyalfie · 25/10/2007 09:04

Thanks my scan is 11.45. I will let you all know. Would i still very sick, tired and horrible if I had lost the baby?

I have had not clots or anythimng like that but just felt terrible the past couple of weeks and I mean terrible.

My daughter had to go for an audition to Blackpool the other day for britain gots talent and by 3pm I could have cried as felt so terrible.

I have found ginger chews and ginger beer help morning sickness though!

Nicola x

Gracie14 · 25/10/2007 09:19

BSL - Of course you are going to worry having had a previous MC but my fingers and toes are crossed for you that all if fine

BA - I would have thought that its a good sign that you are having symptoms of that nature - hope all is well, will be thinking if you at 11.45am

babyalfie · 25/10/2007 09:29

Blood sucking LOONIE... re childminding thing. I would just like to add that two childminders in my home town have finsished this half term. Partly due to all the paperwork and not enough time caring for the children or for their own families... I think you have done a good job but wonder where the thread has gone too.
