***** DUE IN JUNE 08 ****** OMG I can't believe I just got BFP

I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

Just been trying on work clothes...

First day back at work... hoping to keep my news secret until christmas. I look four months gone!! I have only two passable outfits. The rest don't fasten, or make me look like i swallowed a watermelon.

I don;t know whether to go straight into maternity clothes - which would emphsise my condition - or just to dress really badly for three months in hugely oversize suits and long tops.

babyalfie - I'm 5 weeks +3 days and am due around 11th June, hope you get no more bleeding.

kif - I would say to dress badly for 3 months unless you want your workmates guessing!! I'm not as bloated as last week, so my clothes seem OK now, but I'm off sweet stuff so I think that helps as prior to getting pg I had no self control!

I'm feeling a bit down today - I know , I know I should be thankful that I'm pregnant and so quickly but DH just seems to be pointing out all the negatives now that we've gone and done the deed. We did discuss at length before ttc and had both agreed and I know when the baby comes it will all change. But I just keep thinking have I been selfish? Our boys will be 8 and 6 when the baby's born and obviously it's going to change things for them. When I was ttc I was sneaking looks at Mothercare etc..., windowshopping and now I'm thinking what on earth have we done??The initial euphoria when I tested positive has gone and I'm beginning to panic.

I know you can't really help me but apart from dh I can't talk about this to anyone else as most don't even know I'm pregnant.

Sorry to be the bringer of doom and gloom on a Sunday night but I feel a bit better for being honest and saying it how it is!

Debs what you are feeling is totally normal, Im sure we have all felt it at some point it just goes to show what a good mum you are and will make to your next lo, hormons really dont help do they?!

feeling crap though not especially sick, the spots i am getting are beyond a joke Im waking up each morning with white heads everywhere Very tired and tummy is very uncomfortable, dont feel like eating anything. Im still stuck with a lingering cold that never properly came to a head (sob on to key board) lol sorry just moaning as DH still away and I have no one else to moan at

Tomorrow is another day hopefully a healthy and sick free day for all x

May I join you? I just got a bfp today, a couple of months after an ep in August. nh101, goingfor3 and scorpio, nice to see you again.

Everything very tightly crossed round here. I have to go to hospital tomorrow anyway, so may try and pop into the epu and see if they'll do my bloods.

Babyalfie, I don't know the numbers, but I do know that your levels are supposed to roughly double every 48 hours, so you're looking great. Sorry you've had a lousy time.

Deb, my dh and I were in shock for about the first three months of my first pregnancy. It's a huge change. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Just popped my head round the door after the weekend away. HAve a bloody awful cold- which seems t have chased away all my symptoms, worryingly. But that's by-the-by....I popped in to wish NH good luck today. I have everyting crossed that it goes well.

i've been sick, ill, naseous, vomiting, and then sick some more iykwim. right now i'm leaning on a pillow against my stomach all hunched over. i know it's a good sign for the baby but i feel like death warmed over in a big way. i thought it was bad with ds but it doesn't even compare. i've actually lost weight although i have been eating. my stomach is definitely starting to protrude a bit though... pubic hair is getting harder to see !! ha ha sorry if tmi!

because i'm feeling like this and not had any more spotting i'm very tempted to cancel my scan next tuesday. i really don't like the invasiveness of the internal scan but i'm not sure what to do. dp thinks i should go.

shouldn't really be on pc as it makes me feel worse but as i haven't really been able to venture out i'm feeling a bit lonely (we have no family in london and friends all work full-time).

I should be 5+4 today but started bleeding on Thursday. My EPU wouldnt even see me let alone take bloods or scan me.
I want to scream at how unfair this countries NHS system is.
I am off to the doctors soon to start shouting for some care. Just a little bit of care would be nice.

DLM keep your scan appointment but drink alot of water so they can do it externally, the one I had a 6 weeks was external. They don't need to tae any measurements just see the babies heartbeat and it should be clear enough that way. Sorry to hear you are feeling so rough, lol at the pubic if I ever meet you you'll understand why I'm smirking!

I'm feeling really tired. I had a nap yesterday afternoon but woke up when I was having a nightmare, some sort of creature was eating the baby straight out of my belly! I'm really trying to thing positive and keep rubbing my belly telling it everything will be fine.

If you have a full bladder there is absolutely no reason why an external scan wont show all you need to see. I have had external at 6+2 and it was fine.

Deb - my boys will be 8 and 7, and DD will be almost 3. When DD was born they both adored her immediately and are very patient with her. I bet your boys will be like that too.

The dreams are all from your hormones so try not to take them too seriously G43.

I better get on as I have a busy day. I have to put dinner in the slow cookeer, pick dd2 up from nursery, have a bath, dd2 has a friend over this afternoon, then I have to pick up dd1 and take her to the dr's then ballet then I can sit down! Tommorow thankfully I have nothing to do!

i didn't even have the option of an external, i had a full bladder and they told me to empty it and that was that. maybe it was too early for external then. but at least i can say i know i don't need an internal this time!

I do have very vivd dreams when I am pregnant, some of them can be quite fun

i had an incredibly vivid dream where i was bascially one of the cast members of grey's anatomy and was getting a bit frisky with mcdreamy! i don't even fancy him particularly but it was so real, it was like an entire episode playing out!! lol!

Now thats what I'm talking about. Dreams like that are my speciality when I am pregnant. DH loves me then too!!!

So with you on the dreams, I have had the same dream the last 2 mornings, just before I wake about my DH! it is so intense im bursting, I really hope he gets home tomorrow

Updated me by a day...honestly my bets are hedged on 03June as DD was a week early.

Dreams wild and crazy here too. They became very steamy during first pregnancy so I'm hoping I get to enjoy them again this time around. So far just crazy stuff now.

Very restless last night so feel like CRAP today.
