Good luck @newbyxxx !!

Was utterly convinced I was in early labour yesterday as baby felt super low and I was getting head butts right down my bottom. Very strong BH and cramping.

What do you know best sleep all week last night with only one wee break! Still feeling crampy I just need to make it to my ELCS date on Monday!!

Magpie21 · 27/05/2020 09:00

Good luck! @newbyxx 😊 Hope today goes well! xx

@LillianFullStop 1 wee break!! What a treat haha

BirdGarden · 27/05/2020 09:01

@newbyxx good luck today, due date buddy!

I had two hours sleep last night, fell asleep again early this morning just as three hedge trimmers started up underneath my open bedroom window. So only two hours sleep and now I have a full day's work; and husband and toddler are asking me to bake them scones and I need to make a spare loaf of bread for the freezer. It's going to be one of those days Sad

Gigitree · 27/05/2020 09:14

@LillianFullStop

Wow one wee break sounds like a dream, think I was up about 4 times last night! I know it’s partly my own fault because I drink so much water, but I just can’t help it!

Ooo your ELCS is coming around quick! 😍

umabb · 27/05/2020 09:23

@newbyxx very soon now!! Yay !!!

I got up like 8 times to pee overnight these few nights 🤪

APD1981 · 27/05/2020 09:23

@newbyxx good luck!! Really hoping you have your baby in your arms very soon. Keep is updated xx

LillianFullStop · 27/05/2020 10:38

Yes my usual is about 5 wee breaks - each time is an achy wobble to get up and go to the bathroom because of my hips! 8 times @umabb?!

Yes @Gigitree less than a week for me. I'm going to be a bag of nerves on the weekend!

umabb · 27/05/2020 10:43

Yup! Very broken night. I don't know where so much wee come from 😂😂😂 loads of vivid dreams too @LillianFullStop

Pegase · 27/05/2020 10:56

Think I was three times last night but then was awake 3am-4.30am sigh

LillianFullStop · 27/05/2020 11:02

I'm usually awake by 4.30 too @Pegase - some new internal too early alarm clock that I definitely did not order - can I get a refund?!

Also ... 2 more days of work to go!

Magpie21 · 27/05/2020 11:07

@umabb yep! Think I was about 6 wee trips last night too. It was infuriating! Definitely some type of preparation for when the babies arrive!

@LillianFullStop hope your last days are going well. My last day is also Friday. I can't wait to relax a bit before the baby arrives! (Famous last words ha ha)

Ginfilledcats · 27/05/2020 11:31

I'm finding I fall asleep easily, up for a wee about 1 or 2 then I'm awake til 4, another wee, sleep til 6, another wee and then that's it. Hello world.

Rolling over to get out of bed is the hardest part each time. Followed by the so sexy waddle. Thank god the bedroom is pitch black.

One of the girls from my NCT group has had her baby a couple days ago so suddenly feels very real!

I'm 38+2 but read 85% give birth after due date, and 5% on due date. But the best indicator is when your mum and grandma gave birth. I was on my due date, my sister a week late. And My Nan claims my mum was 3 weeks late so that doesn't bode to well!!

AmyMaria2 · 27/05/2020 11:37

@Ginfilledcats I was 3 weeks early, he broke my waters at 37+0! hopefully your baby will make an appearance soon! Xxx

Seventytwoseventythree · 27/05/2020 11:43

@LillianFullStop let me know if you find the refund information and I’ll send mine back too, it’s definitely not working for me!

umabb · 27/05/2020 11:43

@Ginfilledcats ohh just checked with my mother I was a few days ahead of due date! She had a speedy delivery to pop me out too. If everything goes as well as how I came to this world, I'm in the luck! Fingers crossed !

chocolate26 · 27/05/2020 11:43

I must wake up about 3 times a night for a wee too! I'm constantly rolling over from one side to the other aswell. At least it won't be such a shock when the babies are keeping us awake all night!!

I had midwife appointment yesterday at 36+3 and she said baby is 3/5 engaged and in a great position for birth! Feeling happy with that. I have had a lot of pressure and pain around my cervix recently so I recon that was baby wiggling down.

Pushchair finally arriving today!

BirdGarden · 27/05/2020 11:44

@ginfilledcats I like stats and data etc very much so follow a few likelihood of labour predictors. There's one called whentoexpect.com which is a bit more personalised. According to that I have 8% chance of delivering on Saturday, the highest of any day! I don't give up work til the following Friday Confused. I was a week late, my husband was three weeks late, my daughter was a week late (but did start coming before her due date) so I'm working more on family history too Smile

Another website called spacefem is very good for percentages by the day. I am a bit of a nerd...

chocolate26 · 27/05/2020 11:46

Bit late with the bump photo but here's mine at 36+4! I loved looking at all your bumps! You all look amazing.

Is anyone having near constant period type cramps? All day yesterday and today I’ve had them, not painful but always there. Today in my back as well (which is a bit more sore but still not awful) and my inner thighs..... trying not to read too much into it, hopefully it’s just because I’m getting heavier and everything is stretching more?? I’m only 36+3 so it’s a bit early yet really. Just wondered if anyone else is experiencing similar

SerBrienneOfHouseTarth · 27/05/2020 13:27

@Magpiefeather I have been having period like cramps, some pretty strong, since about 35 weeks (I'm 37+2 now). On one occasion my back hurt so much I did wonder if I was going into labour as I had DC1 at 36 weeks. Lots of downward pressure on the aul' fanjo aswell!

Had an appt yesterday and MW said I was having 'good tightenings' which I couldn't feel so taking it all with a pinch of salt! It's a constant guessing game at this stage isn't it!

LillianFullStop · 27/05/2020 13:46

Me too @Magpiefeather - yesterday especially I was convinced things were kicking off. It hasn't been too bad today. I'm 38+5 so not far off!

@Magpie21 I got through all my hand overs last week so these last 2 days are pretty easy and WFH!

AmyMaria2 · 27/05/2020 14:12

Sounds like lots of you are getting so close now, can't wait to see some babies appearing😍xx

chocolate26 · 27/05/2020 15:19

@Magpiefeather yes I've been getting these for the past few days too! They can be quite uncomfortable, especially in my lower back. I'm only 36+4 so I'm assuming it's all just stretching.

MissisBee · 27/05/2020 15:23

I've had a bit of period cramping on and off, tightenings are getting a little painful, although still very infrequent and quite a bit of cervix bashing by the baby today.

Here's my bump at 37 weeks today - delighted to reach this point and know I'll not have a premature baby this time round.
