I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

I'm sorry guys I feel so paranoid and so negative.. I don't want to give negative energy to this group but I feel all I do is to complain and being negative and paranoid. I don't know how to stop.. Shock

GaaaaarlicBread · 23/01/2020 17:38

@Sunshinexx95 if you didn’t have direct impact to your stomach then it’s fine . Think of all the woman who go to exercise classes etc and do lots of jumping about when pregnant , they’re all fine! Don’t worry . Unless you physically crashed the car and hit into the steering wheel I’m sure there’s no cause for concern x

emma278 · 23/01/2020 17:47

@Sunshinexx95 i wouldnt worry at all, i believe at this stage they are super insulated so itll be just fine. Ive been running up and down the big escalators for the tube and been crammed in like a sardine with peoples bags etc commuting. Am sure women do it everyday Smile xxx

ShiningStarz · 23/01/2020 18:30

@Sunshinexx95 don’t be worried at all.
Your little one is under lots of layers and is super well protected. I avoid road bumps cause they cause me discomfort. Please don’t worry. All is fine, hugs xx

Anyone’s else’s brain like mush?!!!

I forgot where I parked my car in a car park earlier this week!!! Honestly was completely blank for about 5 mins!!!!

Then today I thought it was Monday like all day!!!!! 🙈

Roxy8203 · 23/01/2020 21:30

@ShiningStarz my brain is always like that so I wouldn't notice any difference. I have a feature on my car where if I press the lock button twice it beeps so I can find it 😂

Babytrain89 · 23/01/2020 21:35

@Sunshinexx95 oh bless you! I can feel the anxiety seeping through your message...it sounds like it wasnt a direct impact, so sure its fine. As others have said, lots of layers of protection!

@ShiningStarz I just went to put milk in the cupboard and marshmallows in the fridge. Im somehow functioning on all cylinders at work and that appears to be using up my brain capacity...no chance at home!!

Sunshinexx95 · 23/01/2020 21:38

Thank you so much everyone, you made me feel so much better and I am so glad I have you guys here. I feel so safe with you and I am looking forward to spend the coming months with you. BiscuitThanksThanks bless you all
I am feeling fine now I calmed down and told myself to stop being so paranoid Wink

ShiningStarz · 23/01/2020 22:51

Hahaha @Babytrain89 you should have see my face when I realised it was only one more day until the weekend!!!!

@Roxy8203 I’m so excited about your scan on Saturday. ❤️

@Sunshinexx95 hugs hugs and hugs

I was absolutely zonked last few days! Literally fell asleep on sofa from 7/8pm!!!
Today though I feel like I could be on speed as I’m wide awake doing chores and even work!!!! 🙈🤣 anyone’s else’s tiredness come n go? Clearly hoping it’s not a bad sign🤞

PeterPeterson · 23/01/2020 22:51

@ShiningStarz total mushy brain, I keep forgetting why I'm going into rooms, or what I'm about to do so I have to go back and replay my thought process to that moment I forgot in the vague hope I remember!

ShiningStarz · 24/01/2020 08:10

Morning ladies happy Friday!!!!
I’ll be 7 weeks tomorrow 🤞
Anyone else not let their partner near them?!
He totally understands why I’m not yet.. can do other ‘fun’ stuff but that’s it!!! 🙈

Roxy8203 · 24/01/2020 08:33

@ShiningStarz thanks. 24 hours to go 😬🤭

Roxy8203 · 24/01/2020 09:20

Can’t wait until my next one, Feb 5th, will be 8 weeks 5 days all being well 🤞

Roxy8203 · 24/01/2020 10:04

@ShiningStarz are your scans through nhs?

ShiningStarz · 24/01/2020 12:47

No I’m going private. Although 2 scans (12 weeks and 20) are nhs ones.
It’s so expensive but I just need the extra reassurance.

Roxy8203 · 24/01/2020 13:55

@ShiningStarz how much are yours? Mine are £70

LatteLover12 · 24/01/2020 13:58

I'm thinking about going at 9 weeks ish. That will be half term here so no need to tell work!

ShiningStarz · 24/01/2020 14:35

@Roxy8203 my last appt was under medical insurance through work. The next scan is under the antenatal package so it’s priced in from 8 weeks until birth. Whole package is £3500. In my head I had it saved for ivf so fingers crossed this will be it! Totally complete ❤️

ShiningStarz · 24/01/2020 14:36

I’ll get seen every 2-3 weeks.
I’m just so nervous and for years and years tried and failed. It’s a crazy amount of money but iv decided this is the only thing that matters for now. Xx

ShiningStarz · 24/01/2020 14:37

@Roxy8203 how are you feeling in general? Excited about your scan?
