Thank you @RPPs ❤ will let you know the outcome on friday

And yes i had those sharp pains! It is round ligament pain apparently- found out after some googling. Tip is to bring knees closer to chest before sneezing and coughing and it helps the pain!

@Kez437 I'm also from NI. Here, they do your booking and 12 week scan all in one go. I don't know why it's different. Be prepared for being there an hour and a half at least.
I had an EPU appt today as I've had 2 light bleeds in the past week. Very grateful to see a little bean with a heartbeat.
Much love to those who have had more difficult times recently.

ilovedogs99 · 30/10/2019 07:44

Hi everyone!
I’m new to mumsnet due June 2020 hope you don’t mind if I join!
Has anyone else had any light bleeding? I’ve had a tiny bit of pink blood on Saturday and a tiny bit of orangey brown yesterday but early scan on Saturday showed baby 6+0 with a heart beating away no problems!
Any one else in a similar boat?!

Smiffette · 30/10/2019 09:04

I've woke up today feeling surprisingly good, this worrying for me though as I've had nausea for the last two weeks and to have it just stop makes me think of last time when I had a mmc

Lemonysherbet · 30/10/2019 11:29

@smiffette I had that yesterday. Today I woke up, felt good, got out of bed and threw up a lot 🤮

Swings and roundabouts!

Zoey92 · 30/10/2019 11:44

Currently laying in bed with lemon water and biscuits 😂

MilsCookie · 30/10/2019 11:49

I have managed to book a scan for tomorrow in India - I can’t wait!! 😃 I just hope everything is ok! 😬

@Smiffette I always worry the days I'm not sick now, but try not too I think it's just hit and miss with sickness, there for weeks then gives you a few days off!

@MilsCookie that's great! Good luck I hope it goes well x

Lemonysherbet · 30/10/2019 12:36

Oh that's great news @MilsCookie

I wish people wouldn't eat stinky food in the office. Struggling a lot today.

Bearytired · 30/10/2019 12:51

@MilsCookie yay for scan - I’ve got mine tomorrow as well. Twinnies! So nervous.

Sorry to hear about everyone’s sickness. I’ve only vommed twice but feel sick all the time. Commuting is killing me and I’m so tired by about 3pm I’m broken. Here’s hoping for a healthy scan and that it will all be worth it!

@ilovedogs99 welcome! I had some pinkish smears at 4 weeks (implantation bleeding I think) and some brown at 5+4 - nothing to worry about if it’s only a small bit according to NHS website.

MissisBee · 30/10/2019 13:34

@ilovedogs99 I've had 2 small bleeds so far (5+5 and 6+6) but had a scan yesterday and everything was ok. It's worrying but can be common

MilsCookie · 30/10/2019 13:41

@MissisBee how did your scan go? Did you get a photo?

@Bearytired let us know how your scan goes tomorrow!

Will update you all as soon as I can. I literally can’t wait! 😃

@MilsCookie I love that you're traveling around! Where in India are you? I love it there! Good luck with your scan!

@Bearytired I haven't actually been sick yet but the constant nausea is a bit annoying. Commuting definitely makes it worse!

@Lemonysherbet hey how you doing? Does the sickness get worse as you go on? I'm hoping mine plateaus a bit.

I have my first scan o Friday and feel so nervous about it. I'm normally pretty chilled about stuff but the last few weeks - much less chilled! Good luck to everyone else having scans this week!

APD1981 · 30/10/2019 15:06

Hi everyone

I'm new here having just discovered the app. It's great to find a forum with so many people in the same boat!

I'm due around 7th June so I'm 8+4 today. I've had 2 early scans already due to 2 little light bleeds and saw a heartbeat on my 2nd scan (7+2). I'm so nervous about something going wrong. My OH had a vasectomy reversal (20 years after he first had it done!) and it worked! The odds aren't great but we found a great surgeon with amazing statistics. I got pregnant the first month I saw 'peak fertility' on a stick which I was amazed at as I have PCOS. I've recently lost 11.5 stone, though, and so I've gone from never having periods to a regular 27-29 day cycle. Amazing what weight loss can do!

I also lost my beloved dad very suddenly in July. I was so desperate to give him a grandchild and when I saw my BFP it felt like a gift from heaven. Then my GP told me my due date is 7th June - mum and dad's wedding anniversary! It seemed like a sign that dad has sent me this little one. I just want everything to be OK.

I've got another scan booked 10th Nov when I'll be 10+1 (private) and my 12 week scan is 22nd Nov. I just can't wait to get to the next trimester!

Zoey92 · 30/10/2019 15:29

I'm waving the white flag I give up im off to my GP at 4 to see if they can help, I've had such lack of food & fluid for a week now i cant put up with it no longer

Smiffette · 30/10/2019 17:02

@AmyMaria2 luckily (or not so!) I've been feeling nausea since late morning so it seems it was just a one off lucky morning!

I'm still counting down the days u TIL my private early scan on the 10th... should be 8+6 by then so hopefully, even if my dates a few days out, there should be a good heartbeat 💓

Lemonysherbet · 30/10/2019 18:10

Hey @Larrydavid I'm struggling at the mo, my sickness has ramped up over the past week, it's still quite up and down but I've thrown up a lot today so it feels like it's getting worse. Apparently week 9 is peak week for sickness (so my husband says) so hoping it's going to start easing off soon. It was mainly nausea before, less nausea now, more actually throwing up. There's only so many times at work I can disappear for 20 mins without people worrying or noticing!

I was super nervous prior to my scan too but as soon as you see that screen and hear that heartbeat it all washes away. It doesn't last long, I'm in worry mode again now but one thing Mumsnet has taught me is you'll always worry, even after their born so I'm trying to roll with it 😁

Welcome @apD1981 and congratulations. Also well done on the weight loss, what an incredible achievement!

@Smiffette are you struggling badly with sickness? Definitely ask for help!

Smiffette · 30/10/2019 18:12

@Lemonysherbet I've not been sick just constant feeling of nausea... holding it settles at 12 weeks

APD1981 · 30/10/2019 18:49

@lemonysherbet

Thank you for the welcome! My husband lost 6 stone, too, so we're like a brand new couple! It's going to be really hard seeing the scales go up again now, though. And my appetite has gone up in the last couple of weeks and I just want carbs, carbs, carbs so that's not helping!

Have you see the Dr about your sickness? Don't hesitate to if it carries on x

AmyMaria2 · 30/10/2019 20:10

My scan was amazing, strong heartbeat, definitely just the one baby & measuring 8+5 as I thought. And they have sent me a clip of the heart beating to my phone🥰🥰

Hi I have just joined today ! Grin just found out yesterday I am about 5 and a half weeks pregnant

Nuggetlover27 · 30/10/2019 21:45

Hi everyone,
I am pregnant with my first baby! We are due 11th June 2020 so I’m currently 7+6.
Finding everything weird at the moment! Very anxious for the next 7 and a half months!
I had a call with a midwife last weekend and they said they would be in touch with dates for meetings, scan and bloods. Not really sure what to expect Confused
Was just wondering how long it’s been in your guys experience until you got your scan date! I hate waiting. I just want to have the scan to make sure everything is okay!

Thanks ❤️

Kez437 · 30/10/2019 23:40

Hi @MissisBee thank you for clarifying, it's all a bit of a minefield I find first time round but I'm hopeful post scan and appointment I'll have a much better idea 😊 In the meantime the battle with nausea continues, giving it til the end of the week and if it and the sickness doesn't get any better I'm ringing the Doctors, I'm barely functioning at work at the minute @Zoey92 did you have much luck with the Doctor?

ilovedogs99 · 31/10/2019 07:21

Thank you @MissisBee and @Bearytired I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Now the anxious wait until the 12 week scan!

MilsCookie · 31/10/2019 09:07

@Larrydavid yes we’re having a lot of fun! We’re currently in Kerala but have been to many different places in the past month! Flying to Australia on Sunday night 😃

About to go for the scan.... eeeek!!
