eek @peetieswie that's the worst esp if you have an issue with needles and blood as it is! Hope you get seasoned professionals from here on out as when done well all you'll feel is a little pinch.

Try to get lots of rest/sleep @AmyMaria2 I had a bout of headaches/migraines and only sleep helps. If it goes on maybe see the GP to make sure it's not anything more serious?

AmyMaria2 · 21/11/2019 02:28

@LillianFullStop thank you, the plan was lots of sleep, however woke up at 12:30 and can not get back to sleep!! Add insomnia to my list of moans 😂 I have had these headaches on and off the whole pregnancy so far but I might see gp as they seem to be getting worse and harder to get rid of! x

RPPs · 21/11/2019 04:15

@AmyMaria2 You are not alone. I've been awake from 2, thought the insomnia had stopped. Ive also had raging headaches and I think its due to the lying in bed wound up about not sleeping. So I've been to physio who literally sorted the headaches in one visit. Also trying to up my fluids but struggling to get more than 2 pints. I find it worsens my nausea.

Lemonysherbet · 21/11/2019 04:16

Hey no sleep club 👋 at least we know it's normal 😁

AmyMaria2 · 21/11/2019 05:31

@RPPs been a bad night for sure! So annoying not being able to get back to sleep. Ah may have to look into physio thank you.

@Lemonysherbet just glad I haven't got a busy day today, don't think I'd make it through! 😩😂

Lemonysherbet · 21/11/2019 07:54

@amymaria2 I just struggle to get up if I don't sleep.through and end up in work late. I've told them why though, it's usually insomnia or nausea so they've been pretty good at understanding so far

MsMiaWallace · 21/11/2019 08:05

Has anyone's nausea lifted yet??
I'm praying for the day!

I'm not making it much past 19:30hrs at night either. Confused

Notnowokay · 21/11/2019 09:41

@MsMiaWallace my one lifted at 10weeks +3. But it returned if my stomach became empty. Hope the placenta taking over helps you feel better soon.

PiafPilaf · 21/11/2019 14:30

@MsMiaWallace I wish!!! Still spending most mornings sleeping and afternoons debating if I can stand going into work (I work mainly afternoons and evenings - the rest of the time they don’t mind when I do it so I can work from home but I think they’re aware that that bit isn’t happening at the moment!!). Cannot wait for this bit to be over. The month before Christmas is my busiest time of the year so it’s not great timing! I feel like I should just be pushing through but I can’t face it :(

Got scan date finally - 10th Dec. Dreamed I lost the baby last night which wasn’t pleasant! On the upside my DD (5) is being an absolute superstar. She asked me the other day if the baby could sleep in her room so she could look after it! She may change her mind when she hears all the crying Grin

Clothing advice:

If anyone is like me and feeling uncomfortable in their jeans already (at 11+4 weeks) but isnt big enough (or mentally ready!) for maternity clothes yet, I have the found the best leggings! Victoria's secret pink do some lovely plain black cotton ones that have a fold over band instead of a normal waistband (a bit like maternity trousers) and not only are they so comfortable now, but I reckon they'll see me through my second trimester too as I can wear them under or over bump. And they're a pretty good price for VS too - £29. Worth every £ as far as I'm concerned.

I'm in no way affiliated with the brand or product, I'm just so please with them that I wanted to share incase others of you were going through the same clothing dilemma as me!

babysunshine · 21/11/2019 15:08

Hi,

I'm new to the thread. I'm supposed to be due June 2020. Currently having early scans due to light bleeding. Going off my LMP I should be 12 weeks today.

Scan 1 - saw a gestation sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole

Scan 2 - saw all of the above and fetal pole measuring 6+5 but she didn't mention whether there was a heartbeat and said to go back in a week and she would expect to see one.

She also said the gestation sac hasn't grown in the week between scans so I'm really scared now that the baby won't grow before I have my next scan on Tuesday.

Has anyone had this before where the fetal pole has appeared or grown but the sac hasn't at the beginning. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping everything has progressed on Tuesday.

Very confused

X

Blizy · 21/11/2019 15:57

My 12 week isn't until 17th Dec. I had a second early scan this morning (due to previous history) all is looking good thankfully. I'm 9 weeks today.

Notnowokay · 21/11/2019 16:14

@PiafPilaf only the nausea and funny walk (got a titled uterus that corrected itself) disappeared, the insomnia and tiredness is still here. Not to mention the very vivid dreams (sometimes good, others bad and even boring ones (I may have on few occasions cleaned up after my youngest in a dream, whilst being very tried)).

Notnowokay · 21/11/2019 16:23

@babysunshine, I hope you get good news on Tuesday. Sorry I haven't got any advice

Missgemini · 21/11/2019 16:35

@babysunshine Sorry to hear what you're going through. I don't know enough about it to offer any advice. Hopefully, you will have some definitive news soon.

Smiffette · 21/11/2019 16:47

I had an early scan at 8+6 although scan measured 9+3.
When I saw the midwife she said she needs to put me LMP down so put me back the original which made me 10+1 instead of 10+5.

Anyone who has had an early scan, did your dates change much at the 12 week if you've had it?

10+3 or 11

Lemonysherbet · 21/11/2019 16:56

Hey @smiffette. My original date was 28/5 based on LMP, which moved to 1/6 with a private scan at 8 weeks, then my 12 week scan moved me to 30/5!

sarahlounich · 21/11/2019 17:32

Hey @Smiffette I went for an early scan when I would have been 7+1 from LMP but they measured me at 6+3. I’m 12 weeks today from LMP (or 11+2 from early scan) and still waiting for my scan date!!

My nausea has definitely improved but it still tears it’s head when I’m hungry or in the evenings before bed 😕 still feeling knackered too! Praying for more energy!

Smiffette · 21/11/2019 18:55

Thanks @sarahlounich @Lemonysherbet that's useful to know!
I'm hoping my goes back closer to me LMP date rather than ahead!

Nukins · 21/11/2019 20:27

Could I join the fb group too please. I won't interact much on it until after 13 week scan 😘 x

Nukins · 21/11/2019 20:28

12 week even 🙈 😴 😴 😴

umabb · 21/11/2019 20:57

Due mid June. 12 wk scan on Dec 4th x

Missgemini · 21/11/2019 21:35

Having my 12 week scan tomorrow when I calculate I will be 12 weeks exactly.
I'm so nervous and also excited!

I am still so fatigued. Having a meeting with work on Monday to try and get out of night shifts. Even doing my 9 to 5 is killing me. How did our mothers do it?

Smiffette · 22/11/2019 05:34

I really hope I get my scan date through soon! It's so exciting reading you've all got yours!
Praying it's the first week of December 🤞🏻

AmyMaria2 · 22/11/2019 08:22

Got my scan Monday,so excited but nervous since it's been so long since my last scan and sickness has disappeared since the last one as well. Had an awful night again, been up since 3!😩 when will I sleep normally again lol.
On plus side 12 weeks today so aslong as everything's okay Monday I can finally tell everyone Tuesday!
