Anyone else suffer with little niggly headaches, day 2 of little nausea hopong its easing off

Nuggetlover27 · 05/11/2019 09:10

Morning ladies.
Feeling bloated and horrible today. And soooooo tired! Anyone have any tips to help with the tiredness? Struggling to get though the working day at the moment

Lemonysherbet · 05/11/2019 09:10

@zoey92 I had an epic headache last week, otherwise I've been lucky in that respect!

I think the nausea bands have helped a tiny bit. I feel 70%sick instead of a constant 90%. I slept with them on and just woke up feeling a little less fragile! I've been googling when does the nausea end like a loon 😂 on a plus, I was only sick once yesterday, woo!

10+1

Zoey92 · 05/11/2019 10:48

@Lemonysherbetive the nausea bands on too 😂 I'll try anything

Lemonysherbet · 05/11/2019 11:40

Girls, I don't feel sick. THIS IS A MIRACLE!

I'm just over 10 weeks, I have nausea bands on and I'm sure it will come back but right now I'm so bloody happy!!!

APD1981 · 05/11/2019 12:34

@LemonySherbert

Woohoo!! Eat, eat, eat!!

AmyMaria2 · 05/11/2019 13:28

@Lemonysherbet make sure you eat as much as you can while the sickness is at bay😁

Babymaher · 05/11/2019 15:33

Afternoon Ladies,
I’ve been watching this thread for a little while too nervous to post. It’s nice to read that I’m not alone! This is my first pregnancy so far I’m 8+1. I have my booking appointment next Tuesday but so anxious for the 12 week scan just worried something will be wrong. All day yesterday I was vomiting so pleased that today I just feel nauseous although it’s coming and going throughout the day! Looking forward to reading everyone’s journey Smile

Zoey92 · 05/11/2019 15:55

@babymaher ive been feeling the same I'm 7+1 i keep having cramping ( just like period pains tbh) an i freak out thinking tge worst, i had a MC 4 years ago an the worry never leaves

AmyMaria2 · 05/11/2019 17:20

I had cramps yesterday got so worried, but they've totally disappeared today.. still going to ring epu I think, see if they'll give me a reassurance scan. I'm 9+4 but 12 weeks still seems so far x

Vio112 · 05/11/2019 17:30

Hi @babymaher hope your sickness clears up soon! @anny27 and @zoey2 hugs and don't worry about cramps, they're really common. I dreamt I was cramping last night so I don't know whether I was or not! Had a really crap day today at work, felt sick and exhausted all day. My trains were cancelled so was late for work and feel really fat! I'm normally really slim but I've been eating loads to try and stop feeling sick and my tummy has totally ballooned. I think it's only a matter of time before I get found out at work. Only 6 weeks too 🤭

Vio112 · 05/11/2019 17:31

Ahhgh don't know why my phone put @anny27 so sorry! I was trying to reply to @amymaria 😔

Vio112 · 05/11/2019 17:33

Ahhgh don't know why my phone auto put @anny27 so sorry! I was trying to reply to @amymaria2 😔

Zoey92 · 05/11/2019 18:09

@vio112 mine tend to come on more during the night i have to say, ive also had no nausea for 2 days so I'm stuffing my face 😂 I'm off work tomorrow so no doubt itll return 😒

Vio112 · 05/11/2019 18:16

@zoey92 I'm stuffing myself all the time even though guidelines say we should only be eating an extra 200 calories or something 🤔 my go to snack is crystalized ginger 🤭 I just crave it constantly! And then I had a mega freak out today because there's some study out there (there's always one!!) that says too much ginger could cause mc. I'm sceptical but it has definitely put me off!

Bearytired · 05/11/2019 19:06

My nausea has really ramped up - am 8+5 today and feeling grim! Ended up vomming all night and felt awful at day at work. A friend who is on chemo recommended Queasy Pops - they’re basically boiled sweets/ lollipops which apparently help with nausea. Feel a bit guilty complaining to her about feeling sick when she’s got a much less fun reason! But I tried boiled sweets yesterday and they’ve def helped. Have bought some anti-nausea bands too but not sure I can get away with wearing them at work without comment.

Had to buy a load of wrap dresses as my wardrobe is now down to two dresses I can wear for work which don’t look too obvious. It’s mostly bloat but by the end of the workday I look about 6 months preg.

8+5

APD1981 · 05/11/2019 19:47

Anyone else gutted about Mothercare? I'm a FTM and so only discovered the shop at the weekend as I had to get some early maternity jeans and maternity bras. Whilst I was there I spyed THE pram. Absolutely love it. It's a Silver Cross one but the colour scheme is exclusive to MC! I'm so not ready to buy it yet. So gutted!

Cornishbumpkin · 05/11/2019 20:27

@APD1981 is it selfish to be hoping for a massive closing down sale??

APD1981 · 05/11/2019 20:39

@cornishbumpkin

Crossed my mind, too!

Zoey92 · 05/11/2019 20:49

@Cornishbumpkin definitely not, i already looked online 🤦‍♀️

Notnowokay · 05/11/2019 20:50

@Cornishbumpkin, a possible sale I hear. I hope they stay open for a while longer. I don't buy baby products until I been given an induction date or c-section date. Which meant last time I only packed/ bought stuff after I got admitted for steroids in preparation of having baby few days later. Dm was not happy with that, but dh didn't mind picking up the last minute click and collect orders. He was suprised my hospital bag wasn't ready, but we had previously agreed with a list of things he needed to buy for the baby and where I put the money I saved for the list. Yes, I lost out on bargains but what can you do. If you don't want baby stuff in your house without a baby there. All you can do is write a list and save enough money to cover the essentials at normal price.

APD1981 · 05/11/2019 20:53

My sister has said she will store anything I buy if I want to get stuff before they close. Feels like tempting fate but I could buy online and have it delivered straight to her house so I'd never even have to see it. If the bargains are good enough I might consider it.

And I'm going to contact Silver Cross to ask if they will start to sell the MC exclusive pram themselves.

Zoey92 · 05/11/2019 21:15

I'm possibly being over cautious but im not buying until my 1st scan at least.
