Glad all other scans have gone well too.

I wish I could feel movements would so put my mind at rest about things always worrying. The movements really help you know baby is ok in there. Felt my son last year from about 13 weeks. My daughter I lost I didn't feel anything from her at all so think her placenta was at the front.

Has anyone been told at 12 weeks scan where the placenta is?

I'm 13+5 today, I know my placenta is at the back so that'll be helping me feel things early. My husband wants me to eat skittles in the hope a sugar rush brings on movement for him for him to feel!

@mintbear aw, that's cute! My midwife said I probably won't feel anything until 16 weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️

@mintbear I am 13+1 really hope I feel something soon. Sonographer put that mine is at the back so hoping I will feel something soon. I have never known this early where placenta is usually ar 20 week scan I found out with my others.

I’m 14+2 and the only thing I’m feeling is feeling like I’m the size of a house already 😂 I went to get a new bra yesterday and I’ve gone up a back size and up a cup size, I can’t believe they’re going to get even bigger than this?! What a difference the right bra makes though, so much more comfortable today, wish I had done it sooner.

@sazzlerazzle I have too! I went to m and s bought 2 new bras which are life changing 😂

@mintbear she didn't tell me where my placenta was either... I can't remember whether they did with my son on the 12 weeks scan or whether it was the 20?

The baby was asleep during my scan but the sonography woke the baby up and we saw them wiggle a little bit which was so cute!

My husbands teasing me saying the baby is going to be massive as I'm like 5 days in front of my prediction due to when I ovulated and when my clear blue digital tests said! Anyone else been pushed forward?

I have my early gender scan in 4 weeks now. I'm just so excited to share the news and find out more about them! Pregnancy really is just a constant waiting game isn't it 😂

I've also had my dates pushed and I know when I ovulated as I did a clear blue ovulation test, by my dates I'm due 5 May but nhs say 30 April.
I asked the sonographer if there was any issue with this - because I assume th baby must be bigger than expected for the dates to change, she said there were no issues. I don't get it but I'm just going with it.

Where are you getting your gender scan? I'm convinced I'm having a boy, I've got a scan booked at mothercare but it'll be 15 weeks so a week early for a gender scan.

@mintbear yes I did the ovulation sticks as well so I don't get it! The lady said that they expect to be out 5 days either side so not to worry about or! My first was 9 pounds 4 oz so I'm worried about having another giant!

We booked it as a package with our gender scan at a private clinic! I'm so excited to find out, I can't make a decision on my scan with the nub or skull theory!

@Shelbustotherescue I am so so pleased for you, what a relief. Hope the pain eases.

The relief is unreal, after a horrific experience at my 12wk scan in May it was everything and more to see a little baby in there with arm and legs wriggling around. It was a speedy scan but just what I needed to allow me to relax a little till 12wk scan.

Oddly my due date is the 20/5, it was on the 20/5 this year that we had our 12wk scan and had the medical management!

10+4 today and a bit of wretching today and yesterday but not nearly so bad as was so that js pleasant but also makes me worry.. is this my life now? 😂

@helpasisterout I am 10+3, the last 5 days had been really good - no vomiting and only light nausea. I thought I was out of the woods but today I was sick in the morning and nausea is back - pretty sure I'll be sick again within an hour. Enjoy it while it's good!

@woollycat your right it seems to come in peaks and troughs! Watched a programme about infertility last night called 'making babies' on bbc Scotland and makes me feel really lucky to have got to this stage (fingers crossed all ok) even if it did take us a while as these couples have to go through so much!

Finally went for my scan today :) baby was really active . They previously estimated me at 12 +1 but after the scan they are sayig 13 week. All is looking good though, will attach my scan picture. Feel free to guess the gender 🤣

Look at all these beautiful scan pics, such lovely news to read about and so reassuring! Im so nervous/excited, my scan is a week today!!!! With my first my placenta was at the front and I didnt feel him move til quite late on but Im sure Im feeling little flutters and bubble popping sensations every now and then. Hoping my placenta this time is in a different place and desperate to know everything is okay in there! Orange juice cravings are STRONG, exactly the same as with my son 😍 cannot get enough of the stuff!!

@Clairesoph my scan is a week today too and I'm so nervous. What time of the day is yours? Mines not until 5:30pm! So I've filled my day with meetings to distract me

@mrsf1204 oh bless ya, thats so late in the day!!! Mine isnt much better at 2.30 and I dont work on a wednesday so the day is going to take forever! Have you had earlier scans, do you know how many weeks you are? Im hoping im about 11 weeks but with my first I thought I was 12 weeks at my scan and I was only 7!!!!! Ill be gutted if It happens again haha

@Clairesoph yes I've had quite a few early internal scans as I had some pain and at one point they thought it wasn't going to work out. But each scan has measured me exactly bang on when I thought conception to be. I'm exactly 11 weeks today and will be exactly 12 at the scan. We heard and saw a heartbeat at 7 weeks, I'm just really really worried that something might have gone wrong since, I'm just a negative person and a right worrier... it all feels too good to be true so I don't think I'm accepting it to all be ok yet.
