Anyone interested in the Clarins tonic oil someone mentioned earlier, it’s £32 at John Lewis at the moment, normally £40 x

helpasisterout · 25/10/2019 21:45

@kstann thank you that's reassuring to know! My scan later came real quick so hopefully this will be similar! Xx

kstann · 25/10/2019 21:46

@helpasisterout got the letter in the post TODAY. That was meant to say xx

facevalue · 25/10/2019 22:35

i've had a rough nausea full day and i just had enough so took a cyclizine pill ... i hope it settles it soon ... i have eaten some dinner with my daughter ( sweet potato chips and 3 scampi) ... honestly i could try ... my hubby out drinking tonight ... feeling very sorry for myself

Sunshine8888 · 25/10/2019 22:39

I didn’t have wine! DH had a glass of red and I had a sip, it tasted awful! Normally love it so maybe I don’t want wine when pregnant after all?! Would be interested to know if I’d feel the same about white wine and champagne!

Helensss · 26/10/2019 08:04

@Sunshine8888 ah well done! Just think how nice the glass of wine will be when you can actually enjoy it, that’s what I keep telling myself 😂
@facevalue
oh no that’s no fun, I had a really Awful day last Saturday with sickness and feeling rubbish, my husband went out for ‘one drink’ rolled in at 2 ringing the doorbell because he’d forgotten his key. Not impressed! Hope you’re feeling better today xx

KerryM1983 · 26/10/2019 08:43

@Helensss @kstann @zoemelb thank you 😀 x

fluffyunicorns86 · 26/10/2019 09:37

I am still waiting for my screening results. I now scan said was 1.3 but I didnt get told anything when I had it all done to how long it takes to hear from them about anything.

Hope you ladies are all doing well. I think my SPD is starting to kick in. Also do nervous about this stitch as is being done a week before I lost my daughter so am worried about it all. Everything is ok here just still so tired lol thought that went at some point lol

Lifesforlivingandloving · 26/10/2019 11:20

Had my screening results through the post today - scan was on Monday so got them pretty quickly
I'm classed as low risk for all so a massive relief !

I don't quite understand the bracket tho as in what odds class as high risk etc . Does anyone know ? X

Bumpingalong84 · 26/10/2019 11:38

Hi @ Lifesforlivingandloving I think anything above 1:150 is high risk! I might be wrong tho. I remember with my daughter getting 1:7000 and I thought that seemed high compared to friends who had 1:50000 but then my DH reassured me that I’d have to have 7000babies and one would have DS which put it in perspective. I have a colleague who is in her late 20’s and got 1:30, she had the extra test done on the nhs and all came back fine. She’s had her baby now and all is fine.

Ohh gonna have to stock up on a new clarins bottle tho feel anxious buying anything baby related in case I tempt fate.

Feeling the worse I’ve felt the whole time today. I’m 9+6. Nausea, tiredness and headache and have my DD 4th birthday party this afternoon, all I want to do is be in bed bahhh 😩

Sunshine8888 · 26/10/2019 11:40

I haven’t had my nhs results yet but the harmony test gave me 1/10,000 for all 3 conditions. I’d be interested to compare with nhs results although I can just disregard them as they’re only 80% accurate compared to the 99.9% on the harmony test!

Sunshine8888 · 26/10/2019 11:44

Just looking at them again, actually it says less than 1/10,000 (0.01%)

Bumpingalong84 · 26/10/2019 11:46

@ Sunshine8888 that’s brilliant and so reassuring. I lose track, is it you who’s having a girl? Is this your first?

fluffyunicorns86 · 26/10/2019 12:14

Got my results through this morning I am low risk so happy to have them now. Now to just get ton16 weeks to have stitch put in. Is anyone simmering a midwife again before 16 weeks.

Sunshine8888 · 26/10/2019 12:38

@Bumpingalong84, yes I’m 31 from Bath, having baby no 1 and found out baby is a girl 😊 I’m 13 weeks today, hello second trimester!

Sunshine8888 · 26/10/2019 12:39

@fluffyunicorns86
At my next midwife appointment I will be pretty much exactly 16 weeks x

november90 · 26/10/2019 13:14

So at 11 weeks I've gone from absolute exhaustion... not being able to stay awake past 8pm.... to having more energetic and waking up for like 3 hours during the night and being so restless for the remainder 🙈
Anyone else the same? I must have tossed and turned about 1000 times last night 😬

JBFletcherstypewriter · 26/10/2019 14:16

Hi everyone, not been on for a while although been keeping up with everyone else’s news! Sorry to hear of anyone else still feeling rough (like me) but yay to all those who have gorgeous scans to look at!! I had a private scan this morning, all went great, heard 2 healthy heartbeats, Dr said both measuring pretty much the same although they’ve put me further ahead by 3 days so 9+5 today - I’ll take it!! Got my nhs scan letter through the other day, it’s not until the 21st of November though, seems ages away and will be 13+3 then, just seems so late, but because I’m classed as high risk I can only go to one specific hospital for my scans instead of the choice of 3 in my last pregnancy so I guess I’ll have to take what I can get...

Unfortunately in other news my Dh has had scans recently too and the results didn’t come back positively so have been in the hospital for more tests and scans with him Sad ... The consultants are going to discuss his case next week so hopefully we get good news and if he does have to have any treatment that it’s not too bad.. the only good thing about it is that he’s been signed off work so at least he’s at home to help me a bit with the house and our dd as I am completely and utterly useless at the moment Sad

zoemelb · 26/10/2019 15:32

@november90 I'm the same. The past couple days I have it very difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in and get out of bed.

I'm 12 weeks today, my sickness is gone, I know that I should not as could be the placenta takes over, but still very worried. Just want to lay in bed all day till wednes for my scan. I just worry all the time if I sleep, do, or eat something wrong. Sad Also have very yellow discharge today, keep checking if it's actually yellow or brown. Haloween Sad

november90 · 26/10/2019 17:41

@zoemelb my sickness has gone too, which like you I've been told is totally normal! Just remember ever person handles it differently because we're all different! I barely had anything at all with my first... my pregnancy was plagued by water infections and pregnancy rhinitis!
I have been getting big clumps of discharge too... the whole way through! I had a swab Ono day and it came back fine thank god. Apparently that is also normal! If you're using white toilet roll it will always make it look more yellow because the paper is so white! If you're uncomfortable take a swab to put your mind at ease, it helped for me :)
My scan is Tuesday, I am SO nervous! Tuesday and Wednesday will soon be here 🤗❤️

woollycat · 26/10/2019 18:28

@JBFletcherstypewriter lovely scan photos of the twins! 💕
I am thinking of you and your DH, really hope all is well. Hugs.

Bumpingalong84 · 26/10/2019 19:29

@ JBFletcherstypewriter such lovely twinny pictures. So sorry to hear about your DH. Hope his scans come back positive for you. Must be so stressful.

facevalue · 26/10/2019 21:41

@JBFletcherstypewriter beautiful scan pictures. congratulations. i'm sorry i think i missed what you mean about your husband- is this an old or new problem? what do they think it is? so sorry he has to go through this when u have the double blessings growing inside. fingers crossed all turns out to be ok x

@Bumpingalong84 yes 1:150 is the cut off anything less is high risk and anything above 150 is low risk.

@november90 i'm 11 weeks exactly today too but i have taken antisickness pill earlier and i was feeling rough last night🙄

@helensss DH walked in after midnight and was hanging all day. i had my GIN making experience which was ok but i didn't drink any but did bring a bottle of what i made home so we will see! 😂😂😂 i left hubby to deal with my DD and sort her dinner and bath 👍🏼👻

For over two days now I've had this constant feeling of something sat stuck in my throat! It's making me gag and I feel disgusting! Any one else get this? Could it be indigestion or heartburn? I've never had either before!!

JBFletcherstypewriter · 26/10/2019 22:53

@facevalue hi, it’s a new problem, only discovered less than 2 weeks ago... I’d rather not go into what it is exactly but it’s basically investigations now into whether it’s a benign or malignant tumour and what course of action needs to be taken with either
