I’ve been full of cold this weekend and only just made it through my long day today at work. Im normally pretty well but pregnancy has shot my immune system to pieces.

I'm at the hospital now. They heard the heartbeat so I think it's all ok. But it was such a shock literally was dripping into the toilet. It's stopped now. I'm just waiting to get seen by a Dr. Think I might try get a sick note for work. Only seems to happen after iv been in work...

@emilyg7 my other daughter is 9 now so she will be a help my partner works away most of the week, the the moment he's 5 hours away on a good day. I have pretty much no friends and I hate trying to meet new people lol. I'm in a part time job that doesn't pay well. My partner earns alot so as a family we are well off but personally I have no money.

Hi everyone, just catching up as I lost everyone for a bit! I'm now 17+5, due March 5th, have my anomaly scan next Friday.

@Yvonne1988 Glad that you and baby are ok, must've been terrifying for you

@MissPepper8 I have been getting headaches, and never did before. Pain behind forehead, sore eyeballs etc. Had what I think was a migraine about 10 days ago for the first time and had to stay in bed all day. I mentioned to midwife at my 16 week appointment. She said it's quite common but if they keep happening and paracetamol doesn't shift them to go to get my eyes checked and if my eyes are fine go to the doctor. But I've been making real effort to get a lot of sleep and stay super hydrated and they seem to have got better. I have also been using a stick called 4head that I got from boots (and is safe in pregnancy) that I've been using that helps

@emilyG7 sorry I didn't realise 😂 @thankful16 hopefully just a couple more weeks. @yvonne1988 glad you and baby are OK that must have been scary! @munchymunchkin I've been the same I've had it for a week now hope you're better soon

Welcome to all the newbies!

My last couple days have been tough, but I've learnt 2 things - 1) my boy is definitely a fighter, 2) you can be given during morphine during pregnancy, I assumed that was a no-no. I was hospitalised Sunday with excruciating stomach pain and projectile vomiting. Waiting to hear today if they're going to operate. Baby has heartbeat, but they can't decide what problem is as they can't do X-ray etc.

Oh goodness @Dinosauraddict that's awful. How are you feeling now, are you still in the hospital?

@satsumasaturday feeling rough and in quite a bit of pain if I move. They let me go sleep in my own bed last night but I have to go back into hospital today. Just waiting for call to tell me what time I need to go in

@Dinosauraddict Fingers crossed they are able to work out what's causing the pain and fix it. Best of luck for today and I hope that by the time I'm back on here this evening you're feeling better and are back home again safe and sound

@dinosauraddict hope you're OK. Please keep us updated on any news. Have they scanned you?

Bloody hell people have a tough time during pregnancy! We must be super heroes!

@satsumasaturday Ah you're my hero, I will get 4head ASAP. Yeah you're the same as me, I've been so bad I've been going back to bed. I know I'm not hydrated as I can't keep anything down and I can't sleep. I'm trying to rest lots and drink little sips. They are horrendous, hope you don't get any more x

20 week scan.... we have a boy and a girl so I don't want to find out this time! Already have an idea of what it is! But OH wants to find out and wants a gender reveal party!!! 😩
What is everyone else thinking about doing/already done? Xx

@emilyg7 we are going to find out, I want a girl and I like to know what I'm shopping for. I wasn't going to do anything to reveal it but my MIL bought a balloon and confetti cannon things so I'm going to let our girls do that.

@emilyG7 we've been trying to decide if to find out or not but it doesn't matter to is either as long as he or she is healthy. I'm not doing a gender reveal though if we do. What do you think you're having?

@Yvonne1988 I know what you mean about the shopping! There's so many nice bits out right now!! It will be nice for your girls to do that too! Are they excited?
@Jesskir89 exactly! I think it's a boy 😬 we don't have the scan til 6th nov (our daughters 5th birthday!) Xx

@EmilyG7 yeh they are really excited. My daughter wants them to wear what they want it to be. She's not bothered so it's pink and blue. But my step daughter has like 4 brothers from her mum so she wants a girl lol. Convinced it's a boy though.
