January 2020 Babies!!

Hi ladies,

Looked around for a January thread but couldn't find one so created one instead hehe. I'm currently 16+4. Due January 20.

How are you guys getting on with the pregnancies? How far are you? Whens your due date? Has your nausea gone away? Any weird cravings?

Only 5 months to go guys!

Hi all, can I join please? I'm due my second baby (have a two year old DD already) on the 11th January, 18+1 weeks today and we've already found out that we're having another little girl!

This little one is a miracle conceived only three weeks after an induced miscarriage at 12 weeks with another little girl who sadly had Turners Syndrome.
With every single kick now I feel like I've won the lottery, I can't believe I've been so lucky to carry this little baby girl after such a trauma last time! ❤

Hope everyone is doing great so far. I'm definitely showing now, though I'd say it's still a neat little bump!

@PastaSauceHoarder I wish I was showing! I am slightly ahead of you and I don’t look pregnant! It’s frustrating! Especially as it’s my third! I’m envious of ladies showing already! Hurry up little man so mummy looks pregnant and not like I’ve enjoyed too much cake! I’m in my normal clothes still lol xx

@PastaSauceHoarder so sorry to hear about what you went through but so glad this pregnancy is going well! When you start showing it makes it feel real doesn’t it 😂 I didn’t start showing until I’d say 17 weeks then I suddenly popped!

Hahah @Starlight84, maybe you'll just wake up any morning now and suddenly have popped?
Have you felt the little one moving around yet? I felt my first baby moving at 19 weeks, I was thrilled when I started feeling movement this time round at only mid 16 weeksish - now shes a right little kicker, doesn't half give some good thumps in there!

Thank you, @StephRae! It definitely does feel real now, its absolutely magical isn't it? Plus I'm allowing myself to buy lots of little bits and bobs now, and we've picked her name!

I'm due 25th January. Currently 16 + 3 - my whole body hurts! Has anyone had experience of this? Also desperate to feel the baby moving, but I know that isn't usually for a while with your first.

Hi @Maggiejags! I’m 19 weeks tomorrow with my third and I think I only felt something that may have been movement yesterday! I’m so impatient for it to happen again! Xx

Finding out the gender today 💕 any guesses on what I’m having based on the bump, not sure how accurate that is but my family have spent the last couple of weeks doing this 😂

16 weeks today Due Jan 28th
Currently have HG so not been an easy pregnancy so far but my bump is massive already and im starting to feel kicking and moving about 😍 Already bought my Pram cot and all the baby clothes

20 weeks and 1 day. I didn’t start showing until about 17 weeks then I just popped 😂

@PastaSauceHoarder I'm also due on 11th Jan and have a 2 year old DD. sorry to hear about the induced miscarriage which must have been so heartbreaking and traumatic, but very happy for you that your rainbow baby came at just the right time!

Wow! I’m 19 weeks tomorrow and nothing! I’m jealous! I want to look pregnant! This is my third! Keep being told I should be showing by now! I’m getting sick of hearing it! X

I think it’s a combination of me being quite slim and this being a big baby 😂

Awww congratulations @StephRae! I’ve got mine next Friday! Hopefully they will confirm boy!! Yes you do look lovely and slim! Ive still not got rid of the baby weight from 11yrs ago! I’m well padded! 🤣 xx

Ooh congratulations @StephRae, glad to hear everything is looking great! Got my 20 week scan on the 29th, getting a little nervous now haha.

Thank you so much @LifeIsAnArt, we're due date buddies! How lovely you have a 2 year old too, when was her birthday? My little one was 2 early June. I'm so excited for her to be a big sister, shes going to do so well!

@Starlight84 I’m sure you look lovely! I’ve always been very slim, when I was younger I hated it and actually tried to gain weight 😂 I’ve gained a lot during the pregnancy already but I’m okay with that, it just comes from growing a life inside you, I still go gym with my fiancé atm but I don’t see that lasting much longer since I’m already getting out of breath much faster than I used to 😂

@StephRae I am going to book onto aquanatal I think. I take my dog out for a good walk but that’s as active as I am! Mind you I manage a preschool room but work term time only so I will be back to being non stop soon enough! Xx

Only reason i got the pram is because it was the one i wanted and a lady was selling it on Facebook practically new as she'd only used it about 2 times with her newborn before deciding she didn't want it! Saved me about £600 buying it new so i had to have it its sat in my spare room now just can't wait to be pushing baby about in it on those crisp winter mornings 😍

This is my second. I'm concerned now hearing that some of you have no belly! Mine is like a bowling ball! Hopefully not a huge baby 🙈🙉

I'm feeling a fair bit of movement. I have my next scan in 2 weeks.

@PastaSauceHoarder my little girl turned two just earlier this month also looking forward to seeing her as a big sister though the idea feels kind of strange as she's still a little baby in my eyes!

Did I read in an earlier post that you're expecting a little girl? I can't wait to find out whether we're having a boy or girl, scan isn't until end of the month though, and I'm getting impatient! Did you have a private scan?
