Feels like someone is gently stroking me inside my stomach! Nice feeling and def not normal windiness...! But different to what I've felt before Smile

45andfine · 18/08/2019 19:08

@bessie84 it's like tiny tickly fluttering for me. Usually level with my old section scar, but only feel it occasionally if trousers are tight and I'm sat hunched over a table. It's not like the later bubbly jumps you get. And I haven't felt it for a few days.

bessie84 · 18/08/2019 19:19

Thanks ladies. Oohh @45andfine ive had the c-section tickly moveyness thing. ❤ @sulkysukey - aw that sounds lovely. 😘

beccarocksbaby · 18/08/2019 22:13

Since I've hit trimester 2 (12+6 today) I'm feeling great! 6mile/10km walk today with hubby all around a big nature reserve in Notts

S082018 · 19/08/2019 10:57

Just thought I'd check in and see how everybody is doing?!

I'm 14+6 today (15 weeks tomorrow!) and I have my gender scan this coming Saturday 😍 so excited!

Noticed I've had a few niggly feelings in my lower stomach over the last few days. From what I've heard it's very normal to get stretching pains due to rapid growth of the baby at this stage. Anybody else experiencing this?

I went to a family gathering on the weekend and wore a baggy top and leggings (mainly for comfort) and straight away some of my relatives knew I was pregnant as apparently it isn't "what I would usually wear" 😂

Still feeling a bit tired but mainly in the evenings. Probably doesn't help that hubby and I were up until gone midnight last night brainstorming possible baby names 🥰

InOmniaParatus13 · 19/08/2019 12:49

Hey all!
How’s everyone doing?
Been crazy busy over the weekend gutting the house.
I’m 15+1 roughly (dating scan last week gave me several different due dates from 7th-11th Feb 😂)
I have my gender scan Saturday and I’m so excited I may burst.
The past few days I’ve felt a strange popping sensation in my stomach occasionally, not sure if it’s baby moving or not 😁

PumpkinsMum18 · 20/08/2019 08:47

13 weeks here! I thought things were going fine but then I threw up on the way to work yesterday and today off sick with a horrid cold! Not a great start to the week Sad Hopefully things will pick up for the long weekend!

beccarocksbaby · 20/08/2019 09:02

@InOmniaParatus13 I remember my sons first movements feeling like little bubbles popping in my belly but that wasn't till 19 weeks

sulkysukey · 20/08/2019 09:42

Exciting to start hearing about gender and movements, we're getting along!

I'm 14 weeks today, just got low risk from my screening which I'd been worrying about as I'm late thirties, so feeling quite relieved.

Been feeling way better the last week or so - I had to stop running early on as just felt so rubbish but I'm thinking of starting again, anyone else in the same boat? (I only used to jog 30 mins 3x/week so nothing too strenuous but I feel like I'm going to have to gradually work my way up just to get back to that after 2 months virtually stationary!) 🏃‍♀️

45andfine · 20/08/2019 12:56

@sulkysukie I keep thinking about trying running again, haven't been since a 6 miler at 6 weeks. Think I've put on a stone since and I get breathless walking up hills. I'm scared to try a run!! Let me know how you get on?

ImMeantToBeWorking · 20/08/2019 13:47

@InOmniaParatus13 @S082018 thanks!! Sorry I forgot to update on here (facebook is so much easier from the phone so I did it in the facebook group) but all went really well. We heard the heart beat and after lots of moving around saw our little bean. I was measuring 14+2 (at 13+5) but MW wasn't going to update my EDD. I have appointment with my obstetrician this Thursday so I will talk to them then about that again.

Such a relief that everything was ok!

How is everyone else???

ImMeantToBeWorking · 20/08/2019 14:38

@PumpkinsMum18 hope you feel better soon. Wrap up, take it easy and look after yourself. I had a cold early on and it was horrible as I could take none of my normal stuff to make me feel better!!

I have got so lazy since being pregnant. I used to go 5km plus a day with the dog, but I am not able at the min, hopefully I will get over that soon!! DP has been a life saver taking the dog out every evening (I suppose I did it for long enough when he was working away).

S082018 · 20/08/2019 16:20

@ImMeantToBeWorking great to hear that all went well for you!

@PumpkinsMum18 I had a terrible stuffy nose last week it kept me awake most nights but it seems to have passed this week thankfully. Feel better soon!

So I don't know if this sounds absolutely ridiculous...but I'm exactly 15 weeks today and I'm sure I felt the baby move today! I was sat still at my desk at work and it was almost like a wave of motion in my lower stomach quite low down. It was quick and I was really concentrating in the hope I felt it again but it was just one quick movement. If it is baby moving then I'm so excited 😆

PumpkinsMum18 · 20/08/2019 18:53

Thanks for all the kind thoughts! I just googled paracetamol in pregnancy and NHS website it’s mostly ok but only in small doses and definitely don’t take ibroprofen! Did anyone else know this? I think I took some ibroprofen yesterday but won’t take anymore now I know Confused

tinatsarina · 20/08/2019 19:40

Can I join? Due 26th Feb. Had a MC Feb this year so I didn't want to join until I saw everything was ok. 12 weeks scan today. I'm 12+6 I started feeling movements at 10 weeks, thought it was in my head but sonographer said no if you tune in then you can feel them earlier. It probably helps that i've already had a baby.

InOmniaParatus13 · 20/08/2019 19:52

@beccarocksbaby that’s so amazing to know it could be baby moving that I’m feeling 🙏🏻

@ImMeantToBeWorking I’m happy to hear your scan went well, amazing news!

I’ve been sick three times today, I’ve no idea why. The only thing I can think of is i’m Having to use a temporary filling in my tooth as it snapped, maybe baby doesn’t like it!

4 days until my gender scan, I’m so excited! 💙💕

Marleym28 · 20/08/2019 20:12

@S082018 weird.. I literally said the same thing to my bf yesterday. It was super quick and felt like a brush past but then I was doubting myself the rest of the day.
I was 15 W yest

Hi All, I'd like to join, I'm due Feb 14th (hahahahaha) with my second. Not doing NCT this time around so it would be great to know people who are due the same time. Have to say it's a lot harder this time, I've been feeling much more sick and not easy running around after a toddler!

beccarocksbaby · 20/08/2019 22:05

I have a question for you all, how are your partners taking the news and pregnancy? I'm feeling very blessed. My husband and I went through a very serious rough patch 15 months ago when his MH was very poor. Things have changed enormously since then and he's being very attentive :) it's his first baby and my second.

S082018 · 20/08/2019 23:20

@Marleym28 yes exactly that! I'm glad I'm not just imagining things! I hope it's the start of feeling the little bubba move!

@beccarocksbaby I feel the same 🥰 hubby is being very attentive, showing such an interest each week and even reading Dad-to-be books! It's both our first. I couldn't have asked for better at the moment so definitely feeling lucky!

@InOmniaParatus13 we haven't got long to go until our gender scans! I'm so so excited already and just want Saturday to be here already 😍

InOmniaParatus13 · 21/08/2019 07:01

@S082018 3 days to go for us 😍 I’m so excited! This week has been going soooo slow! Roll on Saturday so we can find out what we’re having 😍

PumpkinsMum18 · 21/08/2019 07:28

My hubby is super excited! He loves babies and can’t wait to cuddle his own child 🥰 he’s being really helpful and supportive which is lovely

beccarocksbaby · 21/08/2019 09:21

@ClaireCordell welcome 🎉 happy valentines to you

beccarocksbaby · 21/08/2019 09:24

@so82018 @PumpkinsMum18 that's so lovely 😊.

I'm conscious some men may struggle or be away a lot with work. A lot of my friends are naval wives and it's tough on them. Big support to those not as supported x

I have a scan booked for sex soon, I'll be 16+5 Grin We've invited MIL. She's been a difficult part of our life but really came through when our marriage was difficult and has started to accept she contributed to some of my husbands problems. We are trying hard with her, she even wants to buy our travel system although I'm not sure she was expecting the price tag!

Cupcakes1234 · 21/08/2019 12:57

Ahh it's so lovely everyone will be finding out soon what sex the baby is. We have decided to remain team yellow again 💛 I honestly have no feeling of this little bubba. I'm 14 weeks and 4 days and I've been feeling ever so slight movements for about a week now. Not all the time and they are so subtle but I think with this being my second I just know.
