Roy, I can't believe what a fight you put up to meet your big brother, you were so strong little one! I'm so happy that you got to spend your last time where you were supposed to be all along, in your mums arms. Sleep well little Roy, you'll be forever remembered.

Be brave you strong, strong woman, my heart is with you, and I honestly do mean it that if anything can be done to help you or your family, please just shout. Sending all of my love and thoughts xxx

Exactly what I was thinking. I just wish we knew Twittlebee better so could perhaps do some group flowers, a rainbow momentum or something else to just let her know she is not alone and we’re thinking of her.

Does anyone else think it would be in better taste to have the thread title changed in light of twittles update? Not wanting to to upset anyone or ignore the fact that twittles lovely little boy did live for 5 precious days, I just didn't know if we should change it to something more sensitive? Happy for it to remain though if the consensus is it should.

I am happy for the title to stay or be changed.

Had exactly the same thought process, it seems cruel to keep it, but awful not to acknowledge Roy's 5 special days with his family and especially the lovely twittle. Would leaving this thread unfinished and going onto #10 work? Then we don't have to un-acknowledge anything and it's still here in memory of Roy and twittle? Or is that awful too? I don't honestly know what's for the best...

I don’t think we should just switch to #10 as Beth May want to see the condolences at some point. Better to ask for it to be changed. There’s no way Roy will go unmarked as the many many expressions of sorry and sympathy in this thread are still there.

What about changing the title to "Thread #9 - In memory of Roy " ? I have been thinking of @TwittleBee all day. If there was a way to get something to Twittle (I don't know if anyone is friends with her on FB?) then I would be very happy to contribute xx

Yes, I was thinking of leaving it open so everyone has a place to come back to to remember Roy, and carry on leaving messages, and Beth has a place where all of the condolences can be found if she wants to look at them, without trawling through anything else further up thread? I don't mean for it to seem like abandonment or anything, just in the scheme of things if it would be of comfort I think it would be nicer to not have to trawl through our whittlings about what will seem like trivial matters at a later date... but also change to something along the lines of "in memory of Roy" too.

I think we should ask for it to be changed just to thread 9.

I appreciate not wanting to be disrespectful to Roy's memoryless but the email notifications with the thread title in them might not always be at the right time, if that makes sense?

I agree with changing the title to just thread #9 and then think we should start #10 so Twittle can come back to this one and read all the messages another time if she wants to.

All we need is some consensus and they will change it for us. How about we put out there that we change it to just stopping at thread #9 and leave this post for condolences and start #10?

We could put ‘for twittlebee’ at the end rather than referring to Roy. Like a condolence book.
