@Seahawk80 sorry to hear this. Hope the next few weeks pass quickly x

Seahawk80 · 15/07/2019 19:21

Thanks everyone. Really hope that this is the last bit of bad news on this thread, I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through it.

emma8t4 · 15/07/2019 20:38

@Hanraa1 must be something about the date then!!!

Mirana · 15/07/2019 21:17

@Seahawk80 I'm so sorry for your loss. Wish you all the best for the future and I hope you have lots of love and support 💕

Mirana · 15/07/2019 21:22

Feels grim writing an update after the news of a loss so I'll keep it short and sweet. After yesterday's meltdown I thought I'd pop in with an update.

Scan went beautifully. Baby measured 1 day ahead at 12+2, and is due on the 25th January. Nice and active but kindly calmed down for measurements! NT measurement 1.6, had bloods too so also have fingers crossed for a letter and not a phone call. Feels so surreal to be here but very grateful.

Seahawk80 · 15/07/2019 21:46

@Mirana don't feel bad! I'm glad you got good news. It's nice to know other people are having happy healthy pregnancies. Hopefully it's me next time x

SleepingStandingUp · 15/07/2019 21:49

@Seahawk80 sorry you've been faced with this, I hope you have lots of rl love around you x

@Mirana lovely news

DaisyMay25 · 15/07/2019 21:51

@Mirana glad all went well! My measurement was 1.6 too. I'd say if you have t had a phone call by the weekend then all is fine. Lovely scan photo 😊

Kinsters · 16/07/2019 08:13

Seahawk80 so sorry that you're going through this, thinking of you and hope you can get lots of rest over the next couple of weeks.

My bump seems to have really popped out the past week as a dress that fit perfectly last week is now really tight and uncomfortable. We finally booked our flights home to visit my family in September! Two weeks which is the longest I'll have been back for ages! Not looking forward to the 13 hour flight with my back issues but we were able to blow all DH's miles which he's saved up for years and get business so I guess I can just lie down for the whole flight!

SleepingStandingUp · 16/07/2019 10:10

Sounds like heaven Kinsters, 13 hours of sleep interrupted only by oeioel bringing you food and drink lol

megganonion · 16/07/2019 17:24

Hi all! Was wondering if anyone knows anything about ultrasounds, not for baby but for other use...
I have a renal track and bladder ultrasound on thursday, hoping to get a sneak peek at the little bean aswel! Wat you guys think the chances are? Mum who is a nurse doesnt think it will pick baby up and i cant understand why!?? Surely when they are examining bladder baby will be in the way😂😂 thats wat im hoping anyway 🙈

Chuchu14 · 16/07/2019 17:31

Anyone else feel massive? Got night out and trying to find an outfit. Absolute nightmare. My scans not until Saturday so still trying to keep it on the low.

@megganonion I have feeling the ultra sound they use for those examinations isn't good enough quality to scan baby and wont produce a clear picture!?! Might be wrong though do they know you are pregnant? X

Soph43 · 16/07/2019 17:51

Chuchu14 I feel huge, I’ve got maternity jeans and maternity uniform top on at work but I’m 16 weeks on Thursday :)

Dorothy Perkins has a maternity sale btw ladies and there jeans are comfy!!!

mynameisMrG · 16/07/2019 17:57

I feel massive. And sweaty!! Roll on autumn

mynameisMrG · 16/07/2019 18:05

My Dr has given me an inhaler to help with my hay fever cough. Hoping it makes a difference as it’s starting to wear me down and every time I cough i feel my stomach pulling. Not comfortable

Camomila · 16/07/2019 18:37

I foolishly looked at the 'what have you eaten today' thread....why? Everything sounds so yummy (my diet is 90% plain potato atm)

On the plus side...my gp signed me off work for a month and said I can have anti-sickness tabs on repeat prescription if I run out. I was living in London when I was pg with DS and my old gp was much less sympathetic.

lifesnotaspectatorsport · 16/07/2019 19:01

Hi ladies, can I join? Long time lurker since thread 4 🙈 but superstitious about telling anyone (even people I don't know on the internet!) till 12 weeks.

So I'm 12 weeks today, age 40, have 1 DS who's 2 and I'm joining @SleepingStandingUp's club 😁 DC2 and 3 due 28 Jan although expect to deliver early Jan. From NIPT test we know there's at least one more boy ... have to wait till next scan to see if twin 2 is another boy 😮

Looking forward to sharing the journey with you all 😊

mynameisMrG · 16/07/2019 19:03

Aww more twins, congratulations and welcome @lifesnotaspectatorsport

lifesnotaspectatorsport · 16/07/2019 19:04

Here's a scan pic too - hard to get a good shot of both of them, very wriggly!

Jan 2020 - Thread 5!!
lifesnotaspectatorsport · 16/07/2019 19:06

Thanks @mynameisMrG Smile I'm excited but also slightly terrified how huge I'm going to get!!!

mynameisMrG · 16/07/2019 19:11

I’m already huge @lifesnotaspectatorsport and I can’t even blame the baby 😂😂 it’s more likely the three crunchiest I ate today

Hanraa1 · 16/07/2019 19:43

Wow!! Congratulations on your twins! Exciting times ahead!

FirstTim3Mummy · 16/07/2019 19:55

How.many of you are having twins?

Never seen a twin scan before!

Congratulations!

megganonion · 16/07/2019 20:01

SleepingStandingUp · 16/07/2019 20:21
