@SleepingStandingUp mine is way bigger in the evening. Yours is lovely and round 🙂

SleepingStandingUp · 13/07/2019 14:08

That is the magic of good maternity pants. Cos I'm fat it have a long bump as the fit is below my bump. Mat pants shape it all nicely lol

A second person has told me I'm not showing enough for twins. Like I made it up lol

anitagreen · 13/07/2019 16:36

Hey is it normal to have this pain I've got shooting pains in my vagina and a really pressing strong pain in my left side likes it's going into my bump and back it's so sore been like it for a few hours now I'm 14+4 x

MoominMantra · 13/07/2019 17:43

I've been having the same thing @anitagreen

Soph43 · 13/07/2019 18:28

@anitagreen I’ve had the same today actually, on my left, like a dull throb went up my back round my bump then went away after I sat down..
my friend had a pain in her vagina.. said it was like someone shoved a hot poker up... don’t envy her

anitagreen · 13/07/2019 18:50

Thank you @Soph43 @MoominMantra I took some parcetomal and the pains gone now so maybe it was that round ligament thing? Hope you both feel better frightened me at first x

CatRash · 13/07/2019 20:19

Sounds like fanny daggers to me. You can also get arse daggers which are equally as pleasant 😣

MoominMantra · 13/07/2019 21:55

Fanny daggers 😂😂

karryk · 13/07/2019 22:09

Yup...get them on and off... I recall being really achey with DD until I was nearer 20 weeks and then it all went gloriously peaceful until after 30 weeks when it went to pot again!

mynameisMrG · 14/07/2019 00:32

Anyone else’s hay fever starting to get them down? Today was the first day in ages I’ve felt energised and so we have been out sorting the garden out. Totally paying for it now. Can’t lie down as im wheezing and lying makes me cough and every five minutes I’m having a sneezing fit. I hate the summer 😭

Missmonkeypenny · 14/07/2019 09:04

MrsG not hayfever as I’ve never had it before but this bloody pregnancy rhinitis is crap! Constant dripping nose and excessive sneezing...

I also got munched by mozzies on the leg I have outside of the covers last night, there’s even one on the sole of my foot Sad

Mirana · 14/07/2019 10:38

@mynameisMrG weirdly, yes! My hayfever flared yesterday for the first time in a week, thought it was strange as it wasn't warm or raining. My nasal spray makes all the difference, although am at a BBQ today which I'm dreading a bit.

My 12w scan is tomorrow. Absolutely dreading it.

Mirana · 14/07/2019 10:39

Oh also can anyone recommend any questions for the 12w scan? None of my pregnancies have reached this far, my mind is blank and I'm flapping.

mynameisMrG · 14/07/2019 10:48

Glad it’s not just me, though sorry others are suffering. It’s so miserable. I eventually got to sleep by drinking a load of milk last night, only to wake up an hour later needing a wee!
Good luck tomorrow @Mirana, I can’t think of any questions that I had at the 12 week scan to be honest

poposaurus · 14/07/2019 10:51

@mynameisMrG I'm really suffering with hayfever too. Are you taking anything? I read on the nhs website its ok to take loratadine but I'm nervous to start taking anything.

mynameisMrG · 14/07/2019 10:59

Only a nasal spray @poposaurus, my drs can’t seem to make their mind up about what is safe of not

plipliop · 14/07/2019 11:22

@Mirana I didn't have any questions but wanted to wish you good luck x

Look what my mum knitted?

Jan 2020 - Thread 5!!
plipliop · 14/07/2019 11:23

Not sure why there's a question mark there!!

SleepingStandingUp · 14/07/2019 11:35

That's lovely @Plipliop,MIL knits and a few other family members, DS 4 still has some Nanny Knits, I love them

@Mirana how about "there's HOW many in there?" and "do they match??"

Wishing you a wonderful scan, idont think I really asked anything beyond the "are they OK" kind of question

Mirana · 14/07/2019 15:31

@SleepingStandingUp That cracked me up, only one baby seen so far but can't imagine how shocked you were 😂😂

Thanks for the well wishes x

My GP/Pharmacist are both confused about what's okay, I have a nasal spray and eye drops, I find the nasal spray great but it does sting. The spray I use is Prevalin allergy! It's a minty smell so doesnt trigger my nausea either which is lovely!

SleepingStandingUp · 14/07/2019 16:15

Well statistically @Mirana either someone on here is hiding their multiple pregnancies or someone else in here must be having on

Oohh who's NOT had a scan yet??

McHelenz · 14/07/2019 16:17

@Mirana as it's my first I obviously didn't know what to ask, so I didn't think to ask heart rate and placenta position. Might be worth asking?

Mirana · 14/07/2019 18:15

Oh asking the heart rate is a fab idea! And the placenta position. I asked at both 6 weeks and 8 weeks what the heart rate was, and was told to chill out and shut up "the heart is beating, you're fine" 😂 I guess they probably get sick of neurotic women like me all day! No idea how I'm going to sleep tonight, such a turning point isn't it. 12 weeks was my "ok I wont tell anyone or commit to anything until x" point and now its suddenly happening. Going to chill out for the evening, fingers crossed I have a good update tomorrow. Fairly sure someone else here is scan date buddies with me - best of luck anyone else for tomo too x

SleepingStandingUp · 14/07/2019 18:32

What's your due date Mirana? We must be approaching the endo f the 12's

Chuchu14 · 14/07/2019 19:07

So exciting seeing everyone's 12 week scans and bumps growing!

My scan is Saturday when I'll be 12+4 Smile excited and nervous all rolled into one! They only saw 1 baby in there at 6 weeks but who knows if there was one hiding 🤷‍♀️
