Also we bought ours from a company called Winstanleys Pramworld in Stoke but there is Wigan showroom for people interested.

BowiesJumper · 11/07/2019 12:13

@beth3735 great pic! I'm guessing girl.

Re prams etc, we got a Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip last time.
My criteria were -

Easy to fold, without having to take the seat off
Small when folded
Big basket
Seat can face both ways
Not mega expensive
Last until they're 3+

And this one was the only one that fitted the bill! We still use it for my (large) 3.5yr old on long days out or similar (mainly to carry all the paraphernalia I'll admit!). It comes with a carry cot if you want one.

I'll give it a bit of a clean and use it again for this one, don't think any others will beat it for what I want! Will just get a buggy board for DS1.

megganonion · 11/07/2019 12:23

@beth3735 i would guess girl. Beautiful scan photo.
I have heard back from epu and have been booked in for a scan at 3.30 they have told me i will be waiting a while but i dont care as long as iget the all clear.

mynameisMrG · 11/07/2019 12:42

Keeping everything crossed for you @megganonion this babies are certainly keeping us on our toes!

DaisyMay25 · 11/07/2019 12:53

Thanks @Bluebelltulip

So sorry to hear about the loss of your dd2 ❤️❤️❤️

I think I'll hold fire...I don't see myself going on many long walks until the spring by which point dd will be almost 3 so a buggy board might be a better investment.

Might try a baby carrier though - bought a terrible one last time 🙈

Bluebelltulip · 11/07/2019 13:28

@karryk thank you. I had a wrap one for DD1 and used it until she was over 12 months. If you have a sling library near you it could help you get the right one for you.

McHelenz · 11/07/2019 13:58

@DaisyMay25 that's lovely. I might get the songbird one xx

CatRash · 11/07/2019 14:06

Hope all is ok @FirstTim3Mummy and @megganonion. If it's any consolation I had a massive bleed with my first at around 14 weeks - dark red blood, clots, cramps etc. and all was fine.

mynameisMrG · 11/07/2019 16:26

How you doing @megganonion and @FirstTim3Mummy?

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 11/07/2019 18:31

DH treated me to an Indian tonight - it was nice until I noticed the chicken was slightly pink on the inside after I'd eaten most of it! It was fork tender but now I can't help but worry if I'm going to get sick now 🙈

@megganonion and @FirstTim3Mummy I hope things are all ok xx

beth3735 · 11/07/2019 21:47

I’ve had to book myself in for a GTT test for diabetes. I’m on the chubby side and my parents both have it. I feel gutted as my other 3 babies were all midwife led and this one I need to have this test and also see a consultant.

Does anyone know anything I can do to avoid the GTT test coming back positive? It’s not until October so I have time to change things up 😩

Ann334 · 11/07/2019 21:56

@Victoriaaaaaaaa now I want a korma! Maybe veggie though 😅Hope you’re feeling ok

megganonion · 11/07/2019 22:17

Thank you ladies, baby is perfect, but fluid is on the low side, but good strong heartbeat. I have been ordered to rest as much as possible as i had preterm labour with ds3 from 32 weeks, thankfully it was stopped and he was induced at 39+5. Have been told i need at full blood test done for diabetes before the glucose test now as im showing symptoms of ga diabetes 😥
As fot the bleeding and cramps... slight dehydration and major stress both physical and emotional over the past week (i was away for the weekend at westlife in dublin and dh had a car accident with the 3 boys in the car, thankfully noone was injured but i was just an emotional mess until i got home to them and have had all the hassle of insurance companies and trying to sort kids on buses for appointments) Defo need a week in spain to recover 😆

Glad everything went well @megganonion xx

DaisyMay25 · 11/07/2019 23:26

@megganonion glad everything went okay! Sounds like you've had a nightmare recently but glad your DH and sons are okay!! A holiday is needed for sure!

Got home and my steriliser set has been delivered, so just has a nosey at that (had to check all pieces were there) all looks great!

SleepingStandingUp · 12/07/2019 00:17

Jealous of all the shopping! So f@r I've let myself buy two Nemo vests, two penguin hats and two sleeping bags but it's hidden fromm DH lol. Garsge full of stuff I refuse to touch til Sept when hopefully we'll have sorted out the bedroom to fit stuff in!!

MoominMantra · 12/07/2019 06:10

I've not had a very good 24 hours. So yesterday I had a red bleed. Since then it stopped but I went to the emergency GP and he was very concerned about my overall presentation as my heart rate is abnormally fast. My daughter is going to Italy this morning and I have to wait for gynae to ring me for a scanning appointment.

I obviously will be upset if anything has gone wrong but I guess at 14 weeks no intervention of any sort will change what's meant to be. I've been feeling unwell at work the past few days.

Kinsters · 12/07/2019 07:19

Oh no Moomin what a stress. Hoping everything turns out ok for you.

Glad the scan was reassuring megaonion.

So keen for the weekend! Only three and a bit hours left in the office...maybe I'll be able to convince DH we should book our flights back to the UK this weekend! Ergh indigestion is being a pain. I really hoped the second trimester would be like a golden period with minimal symptoms but back ache and heartburn mean it's not. At least it could be worse.

megganonion · 12/07/2019 09:00

@MoominMantra i really hope everything is ok. Xx

mynameisMrG · 12/07/2019 09:22

Keeping everything crossed for you @MoominMantra

mynameisMrG · 12/07/2019 09:24

Looks like my DS has another ear infection. Second one this year 😕

Cindy61 · 12/07/2019 10:37

@Kinsters my heartburn is no better than before. I guess I have to accept it's not going anywhere, 2nd trimester or not. Confused

BowiesJumper · 12/07/2019 11:14

I've started to get heartburn too, I didn't get it until further on last time, so that's annoying. I love the orange rennies thankfully, so much nicer than the mint ones!
Got my blood test results yesterday and we're low risk, which is great. Can start telling people now!

@MoominMantra I hope you're ok and feeling better?

@megganonion so glad all is well! What a great pic!

@FirstTim3Mummy how are you doing?
